Word Count: 1100 or about 150 lines (avg. 6-8 words).
Standard English with no noticeable accent.
The narrator is required to voice act for a few lines of dialogue from a princess, a dove, and a prince.
In a beautiful kingdom far away,
bird songs welcomed a sunny day.
A beautiful Princess got out of bed
and chose a lovely tiara for her head.
“Should I take the pearly one, or not?
Or a diamond one? I like them both!”
She exclaimed, “I won’t look for more!
Standard English with no noticeable accent
The narrator will also need to voice certain dialogues from the Prince and Princess.
Once upon a time, in a land far away,
a handsome young Prince lost his way.
Some adventures he wanted to seek
and traveled day by day, week by week.
The Prince had been to every city and town.
He climbed every mountain and came down.
The whole world he used to explore,
but he still wanted something more.
Standard English. No noticeable accent.
There was once a city, and inside that city lived a shoemaker.
He ran a shop with his wife, but they had very little money.
The shoemaker would spend all day hunched over his worktable, making shoes.
Little did the shoemaker and his wife know, two elves lived in the walls of the shoe shop.
Energetic. Bold and courageous.
I want to try. Come on, Finn!
We can go down and use that leather to make something beautiful!
Cautious. Reserved.
But if the shoemaker’s wife finds us, she will throw us out.
I would not like to be thrown out. The snow outside looks cold.
Deep. Kind and studious.
That man who was just in here said those shoes were the most beautiful pair he had ever seen.
Look how much money I sold them for!
