Mission B13: Sci-Fi Podcast/Roleplay

[Mocarr is confident when saying this] I want to be just like my Papa when I grow up! Except, I don't want to order people around. That's no fun.

[Mocarr sneaks onto a shuttle his dad is on and gets caught by a solider] Whaat? Of course I'm supposed to be here! ..I'm uhm, supposed to be supervising? (unsure of what he's saying)

[Mocarr talking with his older brother Leon] Mummy said I'm in charge of watching you train. And I have to make sure you don't get hurt. 

[Mocarr is training with his brother] (grunting) I hope you're not going easy on me Leon. That wouldn't be much fun, and besides, I want to be the very best. Maybe even beat you at sparring one day.

[Mocarr is in the gardenhouse with his mother] I just wish Dad would let me go out on missions. I feel like I can't do anything without him having someone guarding me 24/7. It's just.. not fair! 

Yeah, yeah.. I know. He's only looking out for me and making sure I'm safe.

(nervous laugh) Leon. Did Dad just threaten to call mom on us? 

Heeey Mom, didn't think Dad would actually call you. Well, Leon and I have to get going. He's going to help everyone pick out their weapons, and we all know that he's the best--(uncertainty) weapon..picker? 

Well, I'm sorry Mr I'm super composed! I panicked. I didn't know Dad was dead-serious on calling Mom. Especially since she's been busy with everything going on.

Hey, you would be the same! Don't laugh at me jerk!

(unamused) You’re kidding, right? There is no way, you’re having me put on that stupid disguise.

(sarcasm) Thanks, I feel so much better about all of this, I enjoy looking like a giant space chicken.

What don’t you understand, Mocarr?! (anger, mixed with worry)

I’m trying to keep you safe for a reason. 

You can get targeted by any other leaders or anyone else who wants revenge against me.

(deep shaky sigh) Korebrik… you could even be hunted down by bounty hunters, or assassins.

I.. just don’t want anything happening to you or your brother.

Your eldest brother, he got captured in a battle. It was too late for them to retrieve him. I’d blame myself if something happened to you or Leon.. 

Especially you. You’re my youngest son. You’re a bright kid, everyone here knows that. I can't risk losing you.

Leon says you’re doing better with your training.

Care to spar with your old man? (chuckles) Or am I too slow for you?

Come on! I know you can do better than that.

(panicked)  Watch it, you two! (sighing) You.. almost hit your great grandmother’s vase. 

Wonderful. Your mother is going to kill me for this. I warned you both.

I swear, what is it this time Enzo? Why do you have one of those stupid grins on your face.. (sighs) I don’t even want to know, forget I asked.

(annoyed and unamused) Are. You. Being serious? This is what you called me for?! 

I thought something happened!

I’m in the middle of organizing a medical kit for Mocarr and his friends’ mission, as well for everyone else that is going to be on this mission.

 And I had to stop just to answer your call, all due to the fact our sons were bickering over something stupid?

[Flashback, talking with preteen Mocarr] Be patient, I’m sure the time will come when your father believes you’re ready. Your..father is just worried something would happen to you or your brother, Leon.

[Talking to an older Mocarr] (emotional) Oh, I can’t believe my baby boy is all grown up! You’re going to do great sweetheart. Please..be careful. 

And you girls, watch out for him. He can be an idiot sometimes, I think we all know that by now. [Mocarr defending himself] (laughing) I'm only teasing.

Oh, trust me.. knowing your friends. The news will fly around fast brother. (chuckling)

Don’t get too cocky Mocarr. Someday, just wait.. You’ll be proven wrong little brother.

(panicked shaky breaths) Mocarr! What were you thinking?! No. Don’t play dumb with me. You could’ve gotten killed! No! I will not relax! Don’t tell me to relax, when I’m already stressing the Korebrik out!!

 You’re not going anywhere, trust me. You and me, we’re going to have a serious talk. Brother to brother. 

(snickering) C’mon space chick. We have to bring you to the mother hen, she needs to speak to you--Ow, geez, I guess I deserved that. 

Just watch and learn little brother, let the master of flirting show you how it’s done.

You worry too much. I’ll be fine, trust me.. Nothing, and nobody is going to get in my way. I’ll make sure of it.

Zeb, it’ll be fine. We’re just going to sneak on the shuttle and hide in one of those crates. We’re not going to get caught. That is..unless you make a sound, I’m letting you get caught first.

Seriously? You’re not any fun, at all. Can’t you let us on this mission..just this once?

[sarcastic] Ooo, scary! A giant galactic space slug is after us all.

 I bet he can only go so far.

He’s a slug! Slugs are slow. There’s no way he’s going to--unbelievable. The slug has a jetpack.

Oh, I don’t know! You could’ve told us sooner that these slug aliens, have jetpacks!

I made a promise to my father. We’re going to win this battle to victory. 

You four go along without me. I’m going to scope out this area myself.

Listen to my orders. Leave me behind. I’ll manually set this grenade myself. Someone’s going to have to stay behind and do this.

So, you’re the ones everyone’s been talking about nonstop.

It’s nice to finally meet you both, Mocarr and Leon. Please, have a seat. I’ll make some hot cocoa for the two of you, it must've been a long journey walking here.

Don’t worry about your friends, I had my goddaughter bring them to the dining hall, and I’m sure you two must be hungry as well. I’m not going to keep you here long, if that’s what you’re wondering.
