Misadventures In Showbiz
Project Overview
19 year old Zupper; half snake, half pig humanoid, is a bit of a loser. He’s a high school dropout, has no job, and his mother is threatening to kick him out of the house if he doesn’t get one. Thankfully(?), he just so happens to cross paths with the cheeriest person in Breackneck City, Darwin Puddles, a 4 foot tall Cthulhu.
Together, alongside disgraced ex-TV host Ozzee Ozzscript, they try to revive Ozzee’s studio and become famous.
If you are auditioning, please have a decentish mic to do so.
Speaking of good audio quality, when you audition for a voice role, make sure your audio sounds good! No fans, AC, or talking going on in the background. I do not mind editing out small sounds, but make sure they don't distract from your performance!
Depending on how well the pilot does, this could end up being a long term project!! Please be ready to stick around for a while if that's the case, we'd LOVE to have you!
This project isn’t marked as NSFW, but please do be advised that it contains swearing (nothing about PG-13), and bloody cartoon violence.

An (almost overly) cheerful 21 year old Cthulhu! His entire family is a cult that worships Cthulhu, and when they decided to sacrifice Darwin (the only NON-member of the cult) to try and appease their god, Darwin’s pure good and kindheartedness overrode the demon’s pure, insatiable evil. His family was so outraged, they kicked him out and banished him from their family.
Darwin’s voice is very bright, positive, and happy, almost sounding little girlish, like Felix Argyle, Astolfo, or (who else?) Darwin from TAWOG! He’s constantly smiling, and has a chipper attitude no matter what. Send lines as .wav files.

A over-eccentric TV headed man with a loud, enthusiastic voice. He’s very outlandish, showmanlike, and sometimes a bit TOO eager. His voice has a hint of maniacal tone to it sometimes. His voice is very reminiscent of comedian John Mulaney. Around 15-20 lines, send as .wav files.
