Project Overview
When a mysterious organization known as "The Dark Syndicate" begins gathering ancient relics scattered across the Overworld, a group of unlikely misfits find themselves caught in the middle of a conspiracy far greater than they could have imagined. Led by a ruthless and calculating mastermind, the Syndicate plans to perform a forbidden ritual to awaken an ancient entity and use it to destroy the Overworld.

a cold, calculating, and deeply unsettling revolutionary who seeks to dismantle the established order of the world, believing that true freedom can only exist after every system of power has been destroyed.
"Still playing the hero? Tell me, how many people must suffer before you question the kingdom you defend?"
"I offered your world a chance to change. It chose its strings. Now it shall learn what a puppet does with no strings. Absolutely Nothing."

"I assure you, Enderine has no intention of provoking a conflict. Goodness, no. We have quite enough problems as it is."
"I would very much prefer peace between our kingdoms. I believe we're all quite capable of making enough trouble for ourselves without involving one another."

an ancient, incomprehensible, and overwhelmingly powerful entity whose motives remain unknowable, whose presence inspires dread, and whose arrival signals that something fundamental in the world has gone terribly wrong. Speaks in an multi-layered voice to represent the multiple souls that reside inside of this entity.
"We are the true ruler of this realm, You are just an insect. A pest."
"Remember this moment. Not because you witnessed our strength, but because you finally understood your own insignificance."
"You can't hide from us forever, Karl~ It's either you or your friends, you know thisss~"

a calculating force of corruption and destruction that seems to understand the world better than the main characters and seem to be actively keeping his origins a secret.
"You are persistent. I will grant you that. Whether persistence is anything more than a slower form of failure is another matter."
"Perhaps I am the consequence. Perhaps I am the cure. You have not yet determined what the disease is."
"You want me to be a monster. Monsters are simple. They can be hated without being understood."

a retired royal official who insists on wearing formal attire everywhere. His ridiculous behavior isn't because he's stupid; it's because he has absolutely no interest in behaving according to his age or reputation.
“I did not survive three wars, two arrows at the face, and a very unpleasant incident involving a llama to be spoken to in that tone.”
“Right. Nobody panic. Panic is expensive, unproductive, and dreadful for the situatio- And- its on fire- Yep its on fire- OH GOD- EVERYBODY RUN WE'RE GONNA DIE-"”
“When I was your age, we didn't have enchanted weapons. We had sticks, questionable judgment, and Notch still owned the game- wait who said that? That wasn't me...”

This ghost is ancient, weary, and profoundly unimpressed by everything. A terrifying monster could emerge from the darkness, and their only response would be a long, exhausted sigh. She does not give a crap about anything.
“Could one of you, just ONCE, make a decision that doesn't endanger the structural integrity of reality?”
“I miss being alive. Not enough to go back, obviously. But I miss having the option to complain about human troubles.”
“I'm not saying I'm tired. I'm saying if the world ended right now, I'd consider it a reasonable excuse to lie down.”
