A lot of people did really good so I'll probably be casting multiple people for one role (specifically the main voice-over). I'll contact you and let you know if you were cast!

Project Overview
NOTE
Looking at the auditions many people were amazing so multiple people may have been cast for one role. I plan to have multiple episodes so it shouldn't be an issue. For example, for one episode a voice actor may be a commercial voice and for the next episode, they are a buyer.
Hello! I'm making a series of showing Minecraft houses, a spoof of MTV Crib. I need some voice actors to do some voiceovers and some other characters. If you don't make the cut for a main voice yet fit a smaller role, I may ask you to audition. The language used will be English with a variety of accents, so have fun using whichever accent you feel like.

I would also enjoy, but don't need, someone to help me edit the videos and someone else to help me make a script. So far I have 3 episodes in mind but only one with a script.
Deadlines and Auditions
The deadline for auditions is July 25th, 2021. There are currently no plans to extend this deadline. We'll notify voice actors who have been cast in roles by July 17th and plan to send scripts to voice actors by July 31st. We need to receive all lines back from voice actors by August 10th so I can begin editing the clips together. I plan to finish by September 2nd but it may take more or less time depending on if I have help or not.
How to communicate
I will mainly use Discord as it is most convenient, but if you are completely unable to, I will find another way: Instagram, Twitter, Email, whatever.
What I ask of you :O
- First and foremost, have fun -- This project is supposed to be fun, and if you feel stressed just let me know and I will extend the deadlines or give you fewer lines. This of course is not permanent once you feel ready, let me know and I will give you more lines.
- Please submit clean recordings (no air conditioners in the background, no fans -- I don't mind performing noise reduction on your files, however too much clean-up reduces the quality of your voice). And speaking of clean-up -- please let us handle the post-production. Don't add effects to your lines -- leave that to me :)
- Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes. Please remove the takes you don't want to be featured on the video.
- We do occasionally ask for line re-dos, but we do this sparingly and only after great consideration - we realize your time is valuable, and we won't ask for anything we can't work around in edits.

This is the main voiceover person. They will describe the house and do the openings. They will be the voice you hear the most throughout the episode. The voice should be pretty enthusiastic and bright.

There is a pool in front and 3 trees custom-made by the builder. The house is 1 story with a set of stairs leading to a balcony. There are many windows for plenty of sunlight to come in.
It truly is a house of dreams. Now, this house’s starting price is 150 diamonds but it is expected to reach as high as 500. We will interview some potential buyers after this commercial break.

I was thinking of an American, Canadian, or British accent that would work with this. They should sound clueless about how rich they sound, like this it's totally normal to have 2 vacation houses. I'm thinking a bit more chipper would work better rather than arrogant.
“My second vacation house is quite far away. A 30-minute helicopter ride from Beverly hills. I get sick of being in cramped places quite easily so I thought a place to rest mid-way through the ride would be nice."

This voice will be used for gag commercials. I'm probably going to choose 3 people to do each commercial so your audition only needs to contain one of these (the ford, allergy medicine, or liberty mutual) but if you're willing to do more than one go for it! The first one (ford) should be done in the deep voice that in those commercials here's an example.
For the second one (allergy), I was thinking of a happy voice and when you read the side effects you can talk fast or I could edit it in post. I'd prefer the first option but if you can't talk that fast whilst remaining legible I can just edit it.
In the final ad (liberty mutual) I was thinking of a cheery voice that sounded positive.

This job inst essential but would be very nice to have one :)
You are going to be helping me compile the clips and string them together to create an episode. I've already pre-filmed the house so you're just going to cut the video and place them in order. The videos should be anywhere from 2-5 minutes. This will be done after the audio clips are fixed and edited so we are going to have to make the video clips match the audio clips. Then we just stack them and make sure everything is timed properly.
