Mega Man ZX Advent Episode 1 Dub
Project Overview
I've been a fan of Megaman ZX games since I first tried them on DS. Now that I own the Megaman Z/ZX Legacy Collection for pc, I can re-live those days again. This project is gonna be a series of Let's Play category that I will release on Youtube episodic wise which each episode is from 15-30 minutes long or more, depending the difficulty of certain areas. This game contains TONS of characters so I kinda wanted this to be my next project. This episode fandub project contains the beginning of the game and the game's first Pseudoroid boss Buckfire.

Ashe is a stark contrast from Grey in attitude. She is a very feisty and tomboyish girl, even talking back to the Sage Trinity at least once. She is also quite ambitious, as evidenced by her desire to leave her mark in history. Her persistence matches her ambition, as she is constantly seeking her next "booty" and will stop at nothing short of death to get it; she will never allow anyone else to take credit for her work, which is the reason she boards the train transporting Model A to Legion. However, Ashe is also plagued by the mystery of her unknown origins and the lack of information in Legion's database is quite a blow to her. The lack of a real identity leaves a void in Ashe, and her quest to become someone known could be her idea of finding a meaning to her own life, and this is also the root of her strong personality. She also has a unique perspective of her life; since she wishes to go down in the history books, she speaks of her own life as a story being written.
Although Ashe rarely demonstrates it, she is also very compassionate and will do everything she can to help those in need, even if they are enemies. She not only saved Raiders from an attack by Atlas, but she also spared Atlas' life and later expressed a desire to save Prometheus and Pandora after learning about their horrible past. Even the discovery of her family ties with Albert doesn't cause Ashe to hesitate, and she rejects her own heritage in the name of the greater good.
It was getting kinda hot in there, so I went outside to cool off. We've almost caught up to the Raider airship with the bounty on it. I'm going to go ahead and meet our booty face to face.
What? Are they planning to collect on our bounty? Oh, you're pathetic! I'll follow the train by myself if I have to! On top of being called a bug, there's no way I'm going to give up that bounty!
[thinking her past] I was found by Hunters as a little girl, and they raised me. They said that my town was attacked by Mavericks, and that I was the only survivor of that attack. [sadly] So nobody really knows who the real me is. I don't even know.
Nicol is one of Ashe's friends. He wears a distinct face mask that covers his mouth and nose. His most distinct feature are his red eyes. It is unknown if he is human or Reploid.
They say that some Biometal was found in some ruins. Found by those illegal Hunters who don't belong to the guild. Our mission is to take back the Biometal and bring it to Legion Headquarters.
Aw, man... Doesn't she know by now that the booty is always in the lead airship? We always go in from the back and end up messing it all up!
Is that what you're worried about? You should consider yourself lucky just to be alive. If you had that Biometal, that Prometheus guy might come looking for you. Sorry, I don't care if the client is Legion, it ain't worth it!
Lazarus is another of Ashe's friends. He can be told apart by his blue visor. He can be found in Arctic Ice Floe 3 using Bifrost and also appears first time in game beginning.
You still don't see that Raider airship yet? We're getting jumpy!
Ha! That's a good one! I bet Legion has a huge bounty on that.
So now that your appetites have be whet for booty, let's get this show on the road! This time I'm gonna beat Ashe to the treasure! By the way, where is she?
Red is Ashe's third friend. He can be found in Oil Field 1 using Queenbee (and also at beginning of the game like Lazarus). He mistakenly believes that Biometal is a cursed stone that eats people's spirits, which got him mocked by Lazarus. Red will most likely appear again later in the game but now he has a minor role.
Yeah, I heard that it's some kind of cursed stone that eats human spirits.
Always with a sadistic expression on his face, Prometheus's figure exudes evil; he shows absolutely no mercy in battle, unless he is dealing with somebody of interest to the Game of Destiny. He tends to mock his opponents and make snide remarks when confronted. Prometheus is an arrogant fighter who enjoys nothing more than senseless killing and a good battle (ironically, when Ashe/Grey defeats him and his sister, he hints that his having to do senseless fighting was one of the reasons as to why he and his sister wanted to betray and kill Albert in the first place.). He also seems to hold a grudge against Vent/Aile and refers to him/her as a pawn in his game. His personality has yet to be further explored, and neither has his connection to Ashe. As the 'voice of Model W', he seems to have inherited Dr. Weil's insanity and sadism.
It seems the Biometal has attracted a bug. Shoo, pest! [After Ashe says he doesn't look like a Hunter and if he's after the Biometal] Don't group me together with those money-hungry Hunters. You're not worthy of the Biometal! Why don't you just go away?
[teleports in with Pandora and sees Ashe in the same train] You again... You just don't give up do you? [Pandora asks who's that girl, which he replies with] Never mind her, Pandora. She's nothing. Let's take back the Biometal.
[after Ashe has MEGAMERGED with Model A] Hmph, no matter! So, Ashe... You can keep the Model A, for now. You've got a few more encounters with other Mega Men ahead of you. You must defeat them in battle! If you somehow manage to survive until the end, then you'll know who you really are... And perhaps all there is to know about the world! So, let the game begin! HIS Game of Destiny!
Like her older brother, Pandora fits the motif of Witch, her nickname. She wears an odd, egg-shaped helmet with a jewel in the center; however, what appears to be an egg-shaped helmet actually separates into two pieces, as first seen when Pandora takes the passwords from Model X and Model Z. Her white, blue and black scheme strongly contrasts that of her brother as well. Like Prometheus, her armor color changes when she uses an elemental attack; however, she has two color changes instead of one: a yellow and blue scheme for Thunder attacks and a light blue one for Ice attacks. She will attack with both elements if white-colored. Pandora also likes to talk emotionless/like a doll.
[teleports to the train with Prometheus and sees small container containing Model A inside] This is it... The Biometal Model A container...
[to Prometheus while looking at Ashe] Who's that girl...?
[after Ashe has MEGAMERGED with Model A] Mega Man... Model A!
Billy is a Hunter that found Grey unconscious outside the camp and helped him. He gives Grey (If the player is Ashe, who lost her Hunter's License, she is given a new one.) a Hunter's License and invites him for the mission to deliver a Biometal to Legion Headquarters, so that he can see if the Legion database has info on him. After defeating Buckfire, he asks Grey/Ashe to send the mission report to Legion. He doesn't appear again until the rise of Ouroboros, and is one of the three Hunters that goes there with Grey/Ashe and Vent/Aile.
[when Ashe arrives to the train] So, you're Ashe. I heard about you and how you came to help us. [chuckles] It's nice to have a girl around. We're all set to go. All aboard!
You're something else to want to carry on with this mission by yourself. Why do you want to be a Hunter so bad?
[after defeating Buckfire, to Ashe] ...Thanks, you hold on to Model A. That's probably safer. But, I need you to go to the transerver and send a mission report. No mission report for the client, no bounty. Say, we're trying to fix the train, but we need a few more parts. Tell 'em we won't let 'em down, and to wait just a little longer.
Biometal Model A gets its name from Master Albert, who created it as his personal back-up system. It is unknown what happened to Model A after his creation, Albert presumably hiding him somewhere. Model A had no memories of his origin. Years later, Model A was found by Raiders in ancient ruins, but they lost it during an aerial Maverick attack led by Prometheus. Some Hunters that took the task to retrieve the Biometal managed to take Model A and start to transport it to Legion with a train, but they are also attacked by Mavericks. During the attack, Ashe/Grey are attacked by Prometheus and Pandora and megamerge with Model A, becoming the Model A Mega Man. By defeating powerful enemies, Model A absorbs the DNA Core into its database, allowing the user to access the new form and its powers, albeit at a somewhat limited scale.
After taking care of the Mavericks in the train, Model A decides to stay with Ashe/Grey, although he initially disapproves the ally's heroic attitude and prefers to avoid combat. When Model A defeats a Mega Man, a cypher within him is unlocked. When Vent/Aile is defeated, the last cypher is unlocked and Model A discovers his origin and guesses the origin of Ashe/Grey, but decides to not reveal it yet. The truth is eventually revealed by Master Albert inside Ouroboros, and now that his plan was in motion, he says that Model A is no longer necessary and will be destroyed alongside Ashe/Grey, who are only able to megamerge with Model A due to having his DNA. After a fierce battle, Ashe/Grey manage to defeat Albert, but Ashe/Grey collapses and is rescued by Vent/Aile. After the battle, Model A decides to stay with Ashe/Grey.
Hey! Girl! If you don't want to die, do exactly what I tell you! We should be able to Megamerge! I'll lend you my strength! I'm Biometal Model A! Now I want you to focus. OK, yell, "MEGAMERGE!" as loud as you can!
[To Buckfire after he told that Model A made big mistake for megamerging with Ashe] Mistake? What're you yapping about? You don't know me!
[after defeating Buckfire, chuckles] Do you want to see something cool? Touch the icon on the bottom screen!
[Ashe does so and suddenly transforms into Buckfire.] This is my power, A-Trans! I can morph into anyone whose DNA I copy! Hey, try pressing up on the +Control Pad while holding down the Attack Button and then release it. You can use this move to break objects above you. It's a bit advanced, but I'm sure it will come in handy! And here's another great trick! Hold down and release the Attack button while in mid-air, to kick down towards the ground. With this move you can break objects below you. Why don't you try these moves on the two objects in here? If you want to review them, just press the START and open the sub-screen. Take a look in the Profile section. There you will find detailed explanations of other moves as well. Touch the icon on the bottom screen again, and I can change back!

Buckfire is a highly aggressive Pseudoroid who values order above all else. However, he does not seem to be very eloquent, as his sentences tend to lack prepositions and do not follow proper grammar forms. He apparently looks down on females (although not nearly to the same extent as Rospark the Floroid), due to chiding Model A's "mistake" if the player plays as Ashe.
Buckfire leads the Maverick attack on the Train of the Hunter's Guild as it transports Model A to Legion HQ. When confronted by the new Mega Man Model A, he claims that the Biometal broke rules and made a big mistake by lending its power to a "defective" (if the player is Grey) or a "girl" (if the player is Ashe). He also corrects Grey/Ashe's accusations that he was a maverick and makes clear that he is in fact a Pseudoroid. He then announces that he will pummel the Mega Man to the ground and do to them what Pandora and Prometheus would not do, but he is defeated and his data is copied by Model A's A-Trans. During his death throes, he also denounced Model A as a traitor before lamenting their future world. He is revived by Master Albert for the final battle in Ouroboros, but he is defeated again. He dies claiming that the Mega Man broke the law and should move on to face the "King's" punishment.
*snort* *wheeze*! [watch the video sample of his voice in the description of how this line should be delivered if you want to emulate his English voice] Model A! You broke rule! You make big mistake. The one you choose, no good! Mega Man Chosen One, a girl!? No good you lend power!
Me not Maverick! Me Pseudoroid. Me Buckfire! You get away from Prometheus and Pandora, but not from I! Buckfire obey rule! Buckfire will pummel you into ground!
[before exploding and dying] You!... traitor... Our future... Our world...! Yeeeoooow!
Jarke appears in Hunter's Camp next to the door leading to the train.
Hey, nice to meet you! My name is Jarke! If you're going to Legion, you should enter the door on the right!
You know, yesterday I took the train to Legion. The desolate landscape outside of Hunter's Camp looks pretty dreary. It's a far cry from the bustling cityscape of Legion.

George stands atop the roof of the 00 bunker in Hunters Camp. He gives the mission to protect three containers from attacking Mechaniloids.
My name is George. As you can see, I'm a Hunter. Now I'm waiting for energy stores to arrive. We're expecting 3 units.
Kidd is a Hunter that is digging in Hunter's Camp 4 in hope to find lost technology, but needs E-Crystals to continue. After some dig, he reaches a difficult part to dig and asks the player to find a Legendary Pickaxe made of Ceratanium in the Quarry. After giving it to him, a large empty room will be open and he doesn't appear again.
Yo! Are you a Hunter too? My name is Kidd! We've been drilling here, trying to find some lost technology or something. It takes a heckuva lotta energy just to run the drill. It ain't worth it, in my opinion! But we found this place that looks like it was used as a room, buried underneath the earth and sand. We can't give up cause there could be something down there.
There's no way around it. To keep digging, I'm going to need another 100 EC... Help with a donation?
[if you have enough EC's] Thank you! With this, I should be able to make this passageway a little bit wider! [if you don't have enough EC] I'm glad you want to help, but that's just not enough EC.
Pierre is a masked man in front of the 00 bunker in Hunter's Camp. Give him sort of like French accent.
Who are you? They call me Pierre. I dunno where you're trying to get to, but there ain't nothing thataway. If you're trying to get to the station, it's in the opposite direction.
Jim is the café owner in Hunter's Camp 1. He has a crush on Anna and requests the player to find a rare magical fruit in the Tower of Verdure that is said to "taste like young love" to give it for her.
Hey, I didn't know kids liked to drink coffee. I'm Jim, and this is my cafe. I used to make my living as a Hunter, but I wasn't very good with directions, you know. I realized that it just wasn't for me and got out.
I started this place hoping it'd be somewhere the Hunters could relax and enjoy themselves. I'm still learning the ropes of the business. And, making a lot of mistakes too.
Ward puts bounties out on the Pseudoroids that show up around the world and makes the payouts to Hunters who have completed their mission.
So you're a Hunter too, huh... Boy, there's just no shortage of new recruits lately. The name's Ward... Pleased to meet you! I put bounties out on the Mechaniloids that show up around here, and I make the payouts to those Hunters who have the right stuff. If you think you've got the right stuff, you should take a crack at it.
Recently there've been some sightings of wild Mechaniloids near Hunter's Camp.
Elena is in Jim's cafe in Hunter's Camp 1. She's also very sassy and cold to the player when they first meet and she likes to call herself as elite Hunter.
What are you looking at? Do I have something on my face? You must be 12 going on 20 if you think you can talk to me! Remember that for the next time we meet!
Don't get so close to me! You're crowding my space! Did I not just warn you about that kind of thing? I don't want you breathing down my neck. I'm an elite Hunter!
Anna is the Hunter's Camp's nurse. She has yellow hair.
Well, are you feeling any better? I'm Anna. I give Hunters medical attention in the infirmary. The transerver isn't here, it's in room 04. To enter the door in the back room, stand in front of it and push up on the +Control Pad! You can also push up on the +Control Pad to examine items or talk to someone!
Gary is the administrator of the Data Room. Players can see the Secret Disk database with him.
I'm Gary, the Data Room Administrator. If you get your hands on something called a Secret Disk, you should bring it back here for analysis. It contains information about enemies, etc. View the database?
Chris is a Hunter that climbed up a wall in Hunter's Camp 2 and can't get down. His dad told him that there used to be supercool superheroes, but there aren't many pictures of them left. He asks the player to find a rare legendary superhero picture for him and gives his favorite pin from his pin collection in exchange. During the search, Ray says he had some but sold them because he was short on cash, and he sold them to Tina for 300 EC. Tina says the Secret Disk doesn't have what she expected, and gave it to one of the kids in Hunter's Camp, which is Chris. Chris says the pictures in the disk wasn't the kind of legendary hero he imagined. He gives the Secret Disk 004 to the player in exchange of his pin back. It contains an image from the American Mega Man NES boxart.
Who are you? They call me Chris! I'm a real Hunter, make no mistake about it! But what I really want more than some lost technology is some toys! My dad says that a Hunter needs to be tough. So I tried to get to the top of the ridge to test my toughness. But, it was a lot scarier than I thought. The view IS nice from up here... I think I'll make this my secret place.
Ray is a collector of old comic books known as the "Comic Hunter", recently has been writing his own comic book, a story about a robot that fights with a folding fan in each hand (possibly a reference to Aircon Man), but he believes there was a comic with a very similar storyline and says it's not easy to come up with something that's completely original.
Whoa... you don't see many people around here dressed like that. Are you supposed to be a new comic superhero or something? ... I get it, you haven't come up with a name for yourself yet... That's cool. My name is Ray. I collect old comic books. It's one of my hobbies. That's why the other Hunters call me the Comic Hunter. But I'm not really all THAT. *blush*
I'm Tina! I used to run with a group of bandits! Don't worry, it's all in my past. Now I make an honest living as a Hunter.
Owl is a person in Hunter's Camp that eats a lot. He loves pudding, and gives a model train in exchange of a pudding. So with your auditions, sound like you're constantly eating or talk with food in your mouth. Gross I know but it's only want to portray this character.
*munch munch munch* Mnh? Who are you? Can't you see I'm eating? Would you mind not talking to me right now? Eh? My name? ...It's Owl. What about it?
Warren is a Hunter that appears in Hunter's Camp 3 with his daughter Blossom. He doesn't talk in this episode.

Blossom is a Warren's daughter that appears in Hunter's Camp 3 with her father Warren. She's always curious.
Hello! Is this the first time we've met? My name is Blossom! And this is my daddy!
Oh, my daddy's name is Warren!
Richard is Hunter that's standing next to a door leading to a Firing Range.
When it comes to skills with a Buster, there's nobody in Hunter's Camp even close to me. I could care less if you're supposed to be some Mega Man or whatever. All I know is, you ain't even in my league. If you don't believe me, just go to the Firing Range up ahead and challenge my record. I'll even give you this room key. Give the key back when you're finished though! As a matter of fact, I'll pay you 100 EC if you beat my record!
He appears while communicating to Ashe and Grey over the transporter and functions on missions as an operator. While the main characters are arriving at Legion, Albert reveals his plan to reset the world and offers Mikhail and Thomas a do or die choice, but Ashe or Grey arrives before either could respond. Later, when the Ouroborous rises, he gives Ashe, Grey, Vent, Aile, and three Hunters a mission to stop Albert.
So, you're the one who submitted the mission report? I'm connecting your transerver to Legion's via a secure channel. So, you're the Biometal's Chosen One... a Mega Man. We are called the Sage Trinity, and we are the supreme authority of Legion. I'm Master Thomas.
Word has it that you are quite a Hunter. We'd like you to go on another mission.
The Biometal holds technology and information that we don't fully understand, like the M.E.G.A.* mechanism which allows you to Megamerge and become a Mega Man.
[*=This M.E.G.A -line is spelt out just as "MEGA"]
[When Ashe asks to up the bounty] Aah... We'll consider it. First head to the airship crash site. And be sure to heed the advice of your fellow Hunters.
Master Mikhail appears as a very short and hunched elderly man with a more mechanical appearance, wearing a gold-plated mask with three pivoting lens for eyes, the only visible part of his body being a large pointed nose, a long gray mustache and short pointed hair.
He first appears communicating with Ashe or Grey and again when Albert reveals his plans. He functions as an operator during missions and can be somewhat rude at times.
After the final battle with Albert, Thomas reveals to Mikhail that he also wanted to reset the world, but didn't agree with Albert's method. The four enemy Mega Men, Aeolus, Thetis, Atlas and Siarnaq, appear, allied with Thomas, and the scene ends with Mikhail's fate unknown.
And I'm Master Mikhail, nice to meet you, Mega Man.
We'd like you to bring the Biometal here to Legion Headquarters. It would seem that Mavericks are after the Biometal as well. To reduce the risk of being spotted, it's important to keep the number of men... er, women to a minimum. Can we count on you?
And not to mention centuries worth of lost history!
Albert usually tends to be gentle, mature, and relaxed, but has a desire to recreate the world so humans and Reploids may limitlessly evolve; however, he comes to understand that the world must be cleansed of its deficiencies by destroying all life on it, or being "reset", in order to restore balance to its imperfect state. He is a smart, calm, and intelligent man, but at the same time, insane. He was the "certain man who created Model W" that Prairie mentioned. He acts rather indifferent to his "son" Grey, constantly calling him a "defective," whilst he is more sympathetic towards Ashe, showing her far more respect (even expressing some regret towards having to kill Ashe prior to their battle as she was his flesh and blood). In addition, he also possessed delusions of godhood, as evidenced by his statements shortly before fighting Ashe and Grey for the final time. However, he does acknowledge their abilities after his defeat, but at same time curses them to die.
And I am Master Albert. Nice to meet you, Ashe.
It seems the train bound for Legion Headquarters was damaged. That card key should allow you access to a new area. There's a crashed Raider airship not far from you. Find it and you should be able to get the parts you need to repair the train.
That's enough, Mikhail. ...We have a duty to study the Biometal so its secrets are never misused. Ashe, can we count on you?
