Meet the Vampire Pitch Pilot
Project Overview
Meet the Vampires is a cartoon aimed at teens and families about a family of vampires adjusting to life in our world. This casting call for the show's pitch pilot. I want to try and put together a team of voice actors and animators to make this proof of concept. I want to compose an upbeat punkish theme song wich incorporates pipe organs to some degree.

Clyde's accent is actually that of a Romanian/Transylvanian accent but that's not an option in the accent section so I put Russian down since they're similar accents. Clyde is Vatti's (the main character) older brother and heir to the underworld imperial throne. He's in his 300's which makes him middle-aged for a vampire and has a rather grumpy disposition but a good heart and a passion for magic. He loves his two younger sisters to death and would do anything for them. Clyde functions as the dad of the show with some more conservative old fashioned leanings. Also, he was born in Salem but after his mother died in the Salem witch trials when he was 8 he went to live with his father who he has a strained relationship with. His accent started as him mocking his father's native accent and he just never stopped doing it so his Romanian/Transylvanian accent isn't actually natural.
[rolls eyes] Get over it, it’s hardly the end of the vorld.

Valsa is Vatti's (the main character's) older sister. Valsa is the middle child and a young adult in vampire terms. Born in the 50's Valsa is far more feminine than her little sister. She functions as the mom of the show. She takes care of the house and is caring and assertive.
So this is where we’ll be staying. [looks up at the house, a piece of the gutter breaks off] It seems… cozy.
OHHHHH NO! I CAN NOT share a room with Vatti!
What’s that? I can’t hear you over the sound of me organizing my new room.
Ryan is Vatti's (the main character) best friend in the show. He's a human who starts the pilot unaware of the magical world around him until Vatti pulls him into her world.
It’s cool, I made meatloaf, I packed you some for lunch tonight.

Natalie is Ryan's mom. She's an EMT who works a lot and is a single mother. She'll become important later in the show but in the pilot, she's a minor character.
Oh yeah… had a 4 car pile up on the freeway last night.

Mitchel is a member of the 7 swords, an organization a bit like the men in black but for magic instead of aliens. Mitchel takes his job very seriously and can be a bit humorless but he cares deeply for his community.

I’ll look at it in just a second. I get in the underworld you vampires live privileged lives. You’re at the top of the system you can do whatever you want. But not here. Up here we have rules, and anyone who breaks those rules has to face the consequences.
Celia is a member of the 7 swords, an organization a bit like the men in black but for magic instead of aliens. Celia's parents immigrated to the US from India before she was born and her parents gave her an English name in the hopes it would help her integrate into American culture easier. She's a lot calmer than her coworker Mitchell but every bit as committed to her work.
Oh relax kid, we'll wipe your memory and send you home in just a bit. You won't have to worry about a thing.

Addison is Vatti's school rival in the show, a cheerleader she's best friend's dad is the mayor. She has a notoriously bad attitude and is a bit of a loner by nature.
