MANTAUR
Project Overview
Hello! I'm a 4th year student at Sheridan College's Animation program and I'm working on my final film for the semester. The film sits currently at 1:30min and is a mix of 2D animation and 3D backgrounds.
I'm currently looking for 3 voice actors who can work for free but payment is of course always acceptable.

The gist of the film:
A small barbarian is venting her frustrations about the pathetic and otherwise self defeating monsters she's come up against to the bar tender of a quiet little tavern. after harassing him for something that's more of a challenge, she embarks on a mission to finally face off against one that's a worthy challenge.
On a personal note, I've never had to find voice actors for things before so I'll try and be as accommodating as possible!

Tuk is a small barbarian who is hardheaded and (currently) frustrated up the wazoo. Every monster she'd fought had a terrible habit of ending up dead by its own hands, causing her to become disgruntled and angry.
I imagine her to be a bit of a brat but not completely tantrum throwing. all she wants is to fight a monster that will put up a good fight, one that won't impale itself on its own horn or poison itself by it's own venom.
I would say her tone of voice is around mid to high range, speech patterns are more brutish. Try any accent you can think of! I'm not opposed to any.
You’ve gotta give me a new monster to fight! The last one was a complete gyp!
I said I wanted big and scary! Meaning mean! Angry! Ferocious!
You owe me old man! Something big and fearsome! Dangerous!
Pap is a surley bartender who's only joy is to tend to his small pub in the middle of nowhere. He directs adventurers to monsters or danger that needs to be taken care of. For some reason, every time he send this little barbarian to a creature, it just turns out to be their unlucky day in the world, like a graceful deer that suddenly trips over a kids plastic play house or a cat on those off days they mess up and look like idiots.
Pap has had to deal with Tuk a lot so he's partly used to it but still finds her annoying to deal with. all he wants is to deal with his own things but his moments of calm are easily interrupted when the little one barges in demanding an actual challenge.
Now, In my script and as the temp dialogue, i made him sound Russian or Polish or from somewhere around that area (I'm not actually good with accents so I might be wrong.) Honestly, any European accent could be interesting to hear.
Pap is a heavy set man with a mid to deep range of voice, dealing with Tuk he usually sounds annoyed and wants to get things over with as quick as possible.
There is beast, far far in forest who’s claimed life of every being it meets. (announcing this after a tussle so he has to collect himself.)
Tell me then, is monster with seven noses and giant eye not scary???
right ALRIGHT fine! Sit down!
Mantaur is a horse man I came up with that made everyone in our group meetings laugh so I said "never mind all the other monsters, I'll just have him"
As far as horse voices go, it's a bit stereotypical, but what makes his voice a bit different is his presence. He should sound regal and high and mighty. Yes he still whinnys through his speech but the point is he is intimidating and has killed many before Tuk.
Go NUTS! As boisterous, ridiculous or stupid sounding as possible. Mantaur is a joke and i look forward to bullying him through my film.
You have trespassed on my grounds! Steel yourself! I will show no mercy!
