Hi everyone! AverythingArtsy here, a small YouTuber and aspiring voice-actress and ADR director! I'm looking for talented voices to be a part of my Lucky Star: Abridged project! I have a first episode example available provided as a sneak peek, but it's not set in stone. I have done voices for all characters, but roles are open!
Konata, a high school junior heading into her senior year with friends. She's an eccentric gamer, otaku, and loves all things anime, manga, and drama-CD related. She hoards on manga, has a part-time job as a cosplay-cafe waitress, and butts heads with her friend Kagami almost all the time. She also tends to see her friends as the different dere-types.
1. Kagami-sama! What's wrong, Kagami-sama? I was just callin' ya.
2. No, Miyuki-san those aren't faults, people call those "moe-points!"
3. I pick this one! YES! A GREAT BLESSING!
She's sweet, cute, and brimming with positive energy. Tsukasa Hiiragi is the girl who loves cooking, baking, and all things fun. She has an older, more level-headed twin Kagami, but she does try her best to make her family proud. She's one of Konata's classmates.
Ooh! You know, I baked a cake today! And tomorrow, I was thinking about making some cookies!
You know how you just get distracted after the long holidays! We're in trouble, aren't we, sis?
I'm not having fun! I'm really not having fun!!
Bright, studious, and hard-working, Kagami is the older twin of Tsukasa. She gets good grades, wishes to pursue great things in life for her future, and protects her sister to the greatest of her ability. She can't cook and do housework, however. But and Tsukasa are a great sibling balance. She and Konata seem to be close, but she sure does scold Konata a lot.
At least she did her best and did her homework on her own. No matter what anyone says, deep down, she's a hard worker.
Fine! You copy my homework if you want. But if you don't do it on your own you're going to fail that exam we have coming up after the break!
When it comes to cake, this is a perfectly normal amount for me to have, thank you!
If anyone were to be labeled the school's wikipedia, it would be Miyuki. Top of the class in her grade, she is the smartest in the group of friends, but is extremely nice, and very humble and respectful. She is often looked at by Konata as a moe-girl. She spends most of her time with Konata and the others, and enjoys studying and reading books.
I'm afraid of contact lenses! Actually, I'm afraid to put anything into my eyes. I can't even open my eyes underwater!
One time when I was out of town, I got in line at a public place thinking it was for one of the attractions, but I was actually in line for the restroom. I was standing around for hours.
Are you sure you want me to explain it to you? It will be quite involved and lengthy!
Want to end an episode of Lucky Star with a laugh? Look no further than Lucky Channel's host and navigator, Akira Kogami. She's cute, charming, small, but within that tiny body lies another personality; rude, stubborn, and very pitiable. She seems to have a bi-polar side, or just a lot of salt ready for the camera, and her co-host/assistant, Minoru. She can sound and act like a sweet 10 year old one second, and sound like a middle aged, irritated woman the next.

In both Lucky Star and Lucky Channel, Minoru's a classy guy. He's very active as a minor role in Lucky Star, as well as working part-time in various locations in Japan to support himself. He's best known as Akira Kogami's assistant in Lucky Channel, and does take a lot of Akira's...heavy demands and belittling statements.

She's a good teacher who wants nothing but her students to learn and to contribute to society. She went on a small trip with Konata and her friends once so she also knows how to have fun!

Who would've thought Konata would be related to a cop? Referred to as "Yui Nee-san," she is Konata's cousin, and older sister to Yutaka. She's not the most level-headed person, but she does care an awful lot about her relatives, and her duties as a police officer. She's acquainted with Miss Kuroi and is in a commuter marriage.
No! No, see my husband and I have a commuter marriage! I'm married!

The reason behind Konata's love and passion for the otaku lifestyle? You can bet your buttons that it's because of her dad. He's a great dad at heart, and he's very very supportive of anything Konata decides to do in life. He is also a fan of all things Konata is. She hopes because of that, he won't get arrested, even if his intentions are good.
Remember Musashi Miyamoto? The story goes he can catch flies with his chopsticks!

Yutaka is one of the little cousins you meet at a family's house during Thanksgiving dinner; cute, shy, just wants to make friends, and can be courageous when she wants to be. She's Konata's younger cousin and little sister to Yui nee-san. She's most known for her frail stature, and kindness despite the fact. She loves her friends, family, and will do anything to make them happy.

Remember that one girl in school who didn't talk much? Was she tall? If so, imagine her in the shoes of Minami Iwasaki. She's tall, quiet, and has a cool nature to her. She makes friends with Yutaka before the new school year begins, and it's known later that she's the neighbor of Miyuki. She is Yutaka's classmate and the nurse's assistant. Also wishes to be more...well-endowed...if you know what I mean. *Wink*

Aspiring manga artist and lover of stories and fantasy-genre, Hiyori Tamura is EXTREMELY talented at what she does. She sells doujin works at Comiket, and is good friends with Yutaka. She loves her friends very much, but prefers her otaku and mangaka tendencies be left in the dark when it comes to them. She tends to let her real life experiences override some of her stories involving friends.
I was up all night, drawing my brains out, working on a piece for a contest. But luckily I was able to get it done, and turned it into the carriers in time. *Very tired yet hopeful throughout this part of the dialogue*

She's the soul-defining example of a foreigner gone haywire. Patty is a sweet young girl who lives in Japan for school. She's learned the language quite well, and she also gained some...otaku interests thanks to friend, and co-worker, Konata Izumi. Yep, she works in the same cosplay cafe as her too. She is also coincidentally, classmates with Yutaka and the other freshmen cast.

Misao is one of Kagami's classmates, and seems to be like Konata in some ways. She games a lot, has poor studying habits, and seems to be forgetful when it counts. She tries hard though. She ends up helping Patty with their cheer routine along with Ayano.
You understand me, Hiiragi? Isn't that funny, Hiiragi? Know what I'm talkin' about, Hiiragi?
It's a universal truth! I think they call it, "the law of forgetting the lender," or...somethin'.
It's sad. Usually when people become too consumed with their lives, they end up getting cold-hearted and stuff. What are we, the background scenery or somethin'?
This sweetheart is Misao's best friend, and one of Kagami's classmates. Misao is to Konata as Ayano is to Tsukasa. That's right! Minegishi loves baking, is pretty soft-hearted, and is always there for friends.

She's the 3rd oldest in the Hiiragi household of sisters. She's currently in university. She's blunt, serious yet lazy, and is not the most rational one, but she does care a lot about her sisters.

He's the living, breathing, anime character of the real world, Meito Anizawa. He owns some anime and manga merchandise shops including Gamers, and he even makes an appearance on Lucky Channel. He constantly in pursuit of the "Legendary Girl A" (aka Konata) when she walks in his shops, trying to get her to buy something. He's VERY eccentric. You'll never see him without animated energy.
