GamerGoku Is Looking For Video Editors!
Project Overview
Hi there, my name is Nathan, I run a YouTube channel where I do a voice impression of Goku while playing video games!
Channel - https://www.youtube.com/@gamergoku9001
I am currently looking for video editors who know how to cut down longer raw recordings into smaller well-paced videos. I'm looking to record videos on average between 30 minutes and an hour. All I require is lining up of audios and cutting, no added visuals/audio. As a video editor myself I aim to add the final touches of music and visual edits. So if you think you have what it takes to cut my videos down to size, then you are exactly who I am looking for!
Here's what I need for this project:
Video cutting: The ability to downsize a 30 minute - 1 hour recording to roughly 10 minutes. This can change depending on the video as some videos may need to be cut less or more.
Deadlines are 3-5 days depending on the length of raw footage. I expect a cut to only take half a days worth of editing, so you may spread out the work over this time period. Or if you have the time and are willing to do it faster than that, I will increase your payment for that job by 20%.
PayPal is required.
Your audition will only be considered if you have done previous work and can link directly to it via Google Drive, Mega Upload, or YouTube links.
You MUST be over 18. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Discord is required for us to be in contact. Verbal communication is a must! I like to get to know the people I work with. Trust goes a long way! If you would prefer to DM me your Discord instead of including it in your audition, that is fine.
Preferred Softwares are Davinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or Sony Vegas.
The code is "Sausage", this lets me know you've read everything up till this point, and I will only be looking at applicants with this code in their submission.
That should be everything! If you feel you can work with these rules in mind and are interested in doing the work, you have a strong chance of getting the gig!
Good luck to everyone, I am looking forward to seeing your auditions!
Video Editor
I need someone who can take a 30 minute or 1 hour video and cut it down to 10 minutes in length. (The length may differ depending on the task I give.)
1. 30 minutes of footage to cut down = $60USD / 1 hour of footage to cut down = $120 (Length will depend on payment)
2. Deadline is 3-5 days (I expect this job to take no more than 5-10 collective hours for the average editor, I'm basing this on my own skill + past editors I have worked with + a little extra wiggle room)
3. If you complete the job earlier than the 3-5 days, you will be given a 20% bonus for that task!
