Project Overview

Hello! My name is Skylar Fox and this is the first casting call for Lonely Lucy! This for my proof of concept. 

Series description: Lonely Lucy, follows a 14 year old girl named Lucy. Near the end of her last year of middle school. She was pushed into a situation that caused her emotions to overtake her. This caused her emotion to be manifested into a living beast. After this incident she is approached by a school scooter. This scooter offered her a spot at YMU high school (Young Magic Users.) This school is open to all that can use magic. Wizards, Witches, Magical Creatures. However students are required to live on school grounds. After some hard thinking Lucy takes her first real step out of her comfort zone. Once summer is over she starts her new life away from home at YMU. The story follows her and her roommates Zoey, Alex, and Smoky (Lucy’s cat). As they learn magic while trying to manage their emotions as they grow into adults.

  • Additional help is needed!

    All voice actors have been picked and contacted! Now I'm asking for additional help when it comes to animation, backgrounds, and sound design. This may be a student project but if I want to get this done by my deadline (May 25th) Aka before I graduate. I'm going to need some additional help. If you would like to help out or know somebody who's looking for a project to help out with. Please consider auditioning again or sending it to someone else!   • With the deadline almost here!

    Hello everyone! First off thank you to everyone who's been supporting this project! It means the world to me! Now with the casting call almost over. I've decided to also look for some background artists, coloring help, and editors! With the deadline I have I will not make it alone. So once voice actors are chosen. I will be editing this page to ask for this help! If you are interested in any of those! Keep an eye out shortly after the 22th!

Lucy is a 14 year old girl. She carries her cat around in her bookbag. She speaks softly to him but stutters when talking to almost anyone else. She is very defensive of het cat (Smoky). She gets pissed whenever anyone said anything bad about him.

    *Flustered* “Well I- ah ahaha...I just...you...yeah….Anyways-”

Ivy is an aggressed 14 year old girl. She rarely shows any kindness to her fellow students. In this pilot/proof of concept, She is pushing Lucy's buttons finding her cat smoky in her bag.
