LMK Animatic
Project Overview
This story is inspired by the Lego Monkie Kid franchise. However, it diverges from canon to the extent that it could almost be considered an original work.
The story follows Wukong and Macaque as they struggle to survive under the control of a ruthless, psychopathic demon. Despite the horrors they face, they discover small moments of happiness and work to overcome the overwhelming burdens of their grim reality.
This small animatic is an excerpt of this story.
This is a free time project of mine, I do not make any money off of it.
Please record 2-3 takes for each line! Creative freedom is always welcome! :D
The work for each role is less than 20 minutes.
The fixed payment is 5€ for each role.
Payment via PayPal after I've received the recordings.

A kind-hearted individual with lots of flaws and a pile of mistakes from his past following him everywhere. Yet, someone who slowly but surely learns to make up for said mistakes and move on from the guilt they bring.
I'm searching for a voice that sounds something along the lines of the original Wukong from the LMK franchise (Example, the orange haired character: https://youtu.be/2pE5z0jagXA?si=4lk-1Z_r9UeInPDN&t=5167), however I am always open for completely different voices! So please audition, even if you think your voice doesn't sound like the one in the link!

*Inhales sharply, before transitioning to quiet sobbing*
"I-I can’t, Macaque… We gotta get outta here, now. C’mon—please!
A character who formerly strived to project an air of indifference and cruelty, shielding himself in a protective layer of coldness. Though he tried to keep others at arm's length, fearing the vulnerability that comes with love after a past filled with hurt, his resolve starts to soften. Gradually, and against his will, the walls he built begin to crumble as he lets those he cares for glimpse the warmth hidden within.
In the given voice lines, he is severely injured and using the last of his strength to speak.

"Listen to me.. ugh.. Wukong, hey!" (breathless/weakened, but laced with an almost desperate firmness)
"It's... alright... I'm right here. It's going to be okay." (strained/weakened yet gentle)
"I promise..." (Weakens progressively, the character's awareness slipping as unconsciousness takes hold.)
A fierce and brutal demon, hell-bent on "saving" the world by destroying it completely and rebuilding it in her twisted image. She believes that true peace can only come from her ruthless vision, no matter how many lives it costs.
