Project complete!
The drama CD is now complete and viewable here!
Thank you so much to everyone who followed along with this project!
Hello, thank you for checking out my project! I'm creating an original CD Drama (a type of short story with limited visuals and usually voice acting) based on the Kiseki/Trails JRPG video game series. Specifically, this will be focused on the Crossbell arc and two of its characters, Lloyd Bannings and Noel Seeker, as they host a party celebrating their engagement with their friends and family. I estimate this project will be a total length of 25-30 minutes when complete, and will be uploaded to my Youtube and Twitter accounts.
Please let me know if you have any questions! I am most easily reached on Twitter @NDFCaptain or on Discord, #billyrubin4920. Thank you for your interest! (Please do not comment or message me with the intent to offer any support other than voice acting. These messages will be ignored.)
Please be advised that this project will contain spoilers for the Trails series up to and including Trails into Reverie.
Please be advised that the following roles have already been cast:
Lloyd Bannings/Wazy Hemisphere: JTrannVA

Randy Orlando: JaySilver

I was astounded by how much interest there was for this project, and it was a difficult task making selections from out of over 150 impressive auditions. I will continue to post status updates for the project here leading up to completion, as well as on my Twitter @NDFCaptain.
Thank you so much and I wish you all the best! 😄
Thank you so much to everyone who submitted an audition! I will be reviewing every submission and announcing the cast within the next 24-48 hours. Stay tuned!
I've begun the editing for the project and I've drastically underestimated the length of the end result. I currently anticipate the final product to be somewhere between 25-30 minutes.
The lead female role. An earnest, early-20s woman who is eagerly looking forward to marrying her love while wrestling with insecurity and regret.
Looking for a replication of the voice example below (original VA: Abby Trott)
(Warm, welcoming) You all mean the world to us, and we’re so grateful that each of you has supported us time and time again. But we don’t want to keep you waiting too long, so let’s start the party!
(Embarrassed) Fran! Th-This is why I didn’t want to talk about it…
(Timid, insecure) To think there were times when I felt that I... I'm not good enough for you. Honestly... I still struggle with those thoughts sometimes. Whether I'm strong or smart or... pretty enough.
Mid-size role. An early-20s man and friend of the groom. Selfless and supportive of his friends but is sometimes seen by them as overly sentimental.
Looking for a replication of the voice example below (original VA: Sean Chiplock)
(Lighthearted, Self-deprecating) Haha, don’t worry about the teasing, Lloyd. My friends still sometimes say the same thing about me.
(Heartfelt) I learned that day what it means to truly believe in something even when you’re at your lowest. So I wanted to thank you, Lloyd.
Minor role. An early-20s woman and friend of the bride and groom. Soft-spoken and a stickler for politeness.
Looking for a replication of the voice example below (original VA: Erica Mendez)
(Concerned) Tio, you don’t have to phrase it like *that...*
(Supportive) Don’t forget us! We’d all be happy to pitch in.
Minor role. A pre-teen/early teen girl and adoptive daughter of the groom. Sweet and excitable, and happy at the thought of her family growing.
Looking for a replication of the voice example below (original VA: Ashlyn Madden)
(Excited) Hehe, I’m going to be a big sister!
(Complimenting Noel) Lloyd gets all glowy when you’re around. Almost as much as you get around him.
Minor role. A mid-20s woman and the groom's big sister-in-law. Gentle and maternal, wanting the best for her family.
Looking for a replication of the voice example below (original VA: Christina Vee)
(Emotional, almost crying) My sweet little brother’s finally all grown up. I’m so happy.
(Warm) I’ve been wanting to say this, but thank you for taking care of Lloyd for us. He’s so happy when he’s with you, and you’ve been so wonderful to both me and KeA.
Minor role. An early-40s man, the groom's boss and mentor figure. Laid-back but dependable.
Looking for a replication of the voice example below (original VA: Brent Mukai)
(Complimenting Lloyd, second sentence slightly teasing) Even after all that’s happened you’ve both kept that same optimism and grit. It really does feel like watching two puppies climb out of a cardboard box.
(Relaxed) Haha, let’s give the man of the hour his space.
Minor role. A late-30s woman, the bride's boss and mentor figure. Stern but caring.
Looking for a replication of the voice example below (original VA: unknown)
(Inquisitive) I want to hear for myself as well. I’m curious to know what bold maneuver Lloyd had to have pulled to win your heart.
(Assured) Now, between her and Mireille, I feel like the future of the CGF is in good hands. [Mireille is pronounced Mir-RAY]
Minor role. An early-20s woman and friend of the bride and groom. Slightly temperamental and quick to getting flustered.
Looking for a replication of the voice example below (original VA: Allegra Clark)
(Annoyed) Randy. *Please* try to behave tonight.
(Flustered) Well, yes, but... something more romantic would have been nice!
Minor role. Mid or late-40s woman and mother of the bride. Happy for and supportive of her daughter, and welcoming to her son-in-law.
This character has never been canonically voiced so I have no examples to provide. Voice improvisation is welcome!
(Gentle) Haha, let her be happy for you, Noel. She is the one that has been pushing for this since the moment you two met.
(Wistful) To think my Noel would be proposed to like a princess. It’s like a dream come true.
