Limerence is a Visual novel meets Hitman stealth game inspired by titles such as Yandere Simulator, Doki Doki, Hitman, Dark Deception, and more where you play as Amane Sato. A young woman entering her first year in Hanazono Academy where she runs into a boy she met years prior. Amane falls head over heels for him and it get's to a violent obsession over him. Only issue? Theres others who also want him, Amane must tactfully eliminate the Rivals that stand between her and her man.
This project tackles some heavy themes and potentially triggering topics so for the safety for everyone involved you must be 18+ to apply as a VA. When submitting your application please post your Discord profile as well.
Hello everyone, I wanted to give an update that the five friend group characters have all been casted and soon the remaining roles will also be casted as well. If you did not make it into the roll, do not fret because the team has also discussed and bringing the summer of you on board and finding potential future roles for you!

Hello everyone! I am so happy with the amount of submissions you all sent in! so currently I am still trying to figure out who to cast for these characters but I am now going to be closing some of the roles who have been getting alot of attention. Worry not though if you end up not getting the role you submitted for because there will be future new roles posted but also me and my team have taken an interest in alot of you and wish to still keep in contact and have you join the project in some way shape or form later on! Amane Sato at roughly 11 years old was in a car ride with her parents after seeing a movie in theaters, Amane doesn't remember much of the film outside of it being about a Princess who saves her Prince from a witch. Shortly after Amane and her family were hit by a second car. This accident killed both of her parents instantly and injured her heavily. Amane was taken in by her Grandmother who while kind also was very negligent of her Granddaughter's needs.
Amane after the accident suffered from a very heavy depression at a young age to the point she felt very little emotion outside of dread and sadness. Her grandmother in an attempt to make her feel better took her to a park to play to which she left her alone. Amane sat at the park still very depressed until a young boy came up to meet her and asked if she wanted to play
This young boy was Sora Haruki, He was one of two sons in the Haruki family, Sora was at the park because he had run away from his family due to always wanting to play at a public park. Amane felt like a light had turned on in her heart and she never forgot about Sora.
She and her grandmother had moved out of the city to a smaller town just a quick train ride away where the next 8 years Amane and her Grandmother lived and attended a small high school where she was bullied for her anti-social behavior. She began to become much more of a shut in and rarely made friends. Her grandmother was supportive of her choices and never really knew to try and encourage her to leave her hikikomori lifestyle. Amane continued to remember the boy Sora she met years ago thinking about how he was her first real friend.
While she was away the Haruki family within the city had begun the construction of Hanazono Academy, A college prep school for students who’ve graduated high school and if lucky enough to be selected to attend would be guaranteed the future colleges of their choosing. This school had sent out applications to nearby districts and for the school’s first few years the student body was selected by Raffle. Amane was placed into the school in its 5th year of existence and last year of this raffle system meaning this year has to go perfectly in hopes of attracting the attention of richer families applying their children.
Amane is currently 19 and ready to start her new school year in this new school district, she had cleaned up her room, began to accessorize and find a sense of style, and was ready to put her old life behind her . . . until she encounters the same boy she fawned over for years with another girl . . .
At the beginning of the game Amane starts out nervous and meek over her actions. but through the 10 weeks of gameplay she will more and more calculated and almost apathetic to her actions as she gains confidence in her skills and more devoted to her goal of getting Sora. Outside of her Yandere Side she is a average adorkable new school girl in town trying to find her place in the world.
"Oh-no-no-no! I overslept! If I miss the morning train on my very first day at Hanazono Academy, everyone is going to think I'm a complete anti-social loser! Ah—wait, where's my uniform ribbon?! Okay, okay, deep breaths, Amane. This is a fresh start! New school, new clothes, completely leaving my old hikikomori life behind me! Grandma, I'm heading out! Wish me luck—today is the day I finally become a normal girl and make some real friends!"
"He's right over there... Sora Haruki, in the flesh. He still has that exact same kind smile from the park all those years ago... Okay, Amane, pull yourself together. Just walk up, look him in the eye, and say, 'Hi Sora, remember me?' No, wait, that sounds way too creepy! What if he thinks I'm a weirdo? What if he forgot about— H-Huh?! Who... who is that girl?! Why is she wrapping her arms around his arm?! Get away from him, you—you clingy social parasite!"
"N-No, stop it! Why are you always standing next to him?! I've loved him for years! I cleaned up my life, I suffered through high school, I came all this way just to start over... You don't get to just show up when I finally see him again. You don't deserve someone as kind as him. You're just... an obstacle standing in the way of my only chance at happiness! There's many ways the students of Hanazono would describe Rival 7. Dangerous, terrifying, violent, hostile, brutal, and vile too. Once a top student in a martial arts school that trained the best of the best she was destined to be one of the greatest martial artists ever but after an intense battle with one of her closest friends she lost that dream and never forgave him. When beginning to attend Hanazono she wished for a fresh start and started a martial arts club, until that same rival began attending the school too. She challenged him to a rematch and after a long violent match she not only lost her place as leader of the martial arts club but was also disgraced by her students
She became more hostile and standoffish to the other students of the school and found her place with the other more troubled students. She soon was suspended from campus for six weeks and before her return had found a boy in danger. She saved his life from a mugger and this very action changed this boy's entire world view of her. Would he be able to break through her hard shell And would she be willing to let him in as well?

Rina views Jane and Sora’s relationship like a live-action shoujo manga, appointing herself their unofficial matchmaker. She is the energetic, slightly airheaded cheerleader of the group who constantly teases them about their mutual crush. While she is deeply loyal, her attention span is notoriously short, making her the most easily distracted of the group.
(Teasing, singsong voice) "Oh, come on, Jane! You were totally staring at Sora during homeroom. Don't even try to deny it, I saw you blushing from three desks away!"
(Distracted, curious) "Wait, hold on, did you guys hear that? Someone said the drama club president is having a complete meltdown in the courtyard. I have to go see this—save my seat!"

(Soft, gentle, focused entirely on Jane) "You dropped your pen, Jane. Here... No, it's fine. You don't need to thank me. I'm always watching out for you."
(Muttering to himself, slightly bitter) "Of course she's eating lunch with Sora again. It's always him... I just... I wish she would look at me like that, just once."

Asuka is Jane’s absolute best friend and the unofficial leader of their daily excursions. She is fiercely protective of Jane’s well-being and acts as a gatekeeper, filtering who gets to interact with her. While she fully supports Sora, she will instantly shut down anything—or anyone—that stresses Jane out.
(Upbeat, taking charge) "Alright guys, wrap it up! We’re heading to the track field to eat, then swinging by the art room. Come on, Jane, keep up!"
(Firm, protective, shutting someone down) "Hey. I don't know what you think you're doing, but Jane is busy right now. Back off and leave her alone."

The pragmatic perfectionist who keeps the group’s academic and behavioral standards in check at Hanazono Academy. Hitomi acts as the "mom" of the group, constantly scolding Sora for his relaxed attitude while gently tutoring Jane. She values the group's stability above all else and is highly suspicious of outsiders disrupting their routine.
(Sighing, authoritative) "Sora, your test scores are slipping again. If you expect Jane to keep studying with you, you actually have to put in the effort. I won't let you drag her grades down."
(Suspicious, sharp) "Excuse me? I've been watching you for the last five minutes. Why are you pacing around our table? State your business or leave."

Originally Sora’s childhood friend, Takeru naturally integrated into the clique and quickly adopted Jane as a little sister figure. He is abrasive, quick-tempered, and highly territorial. He doesn't care much for school rules but will aggressively, and physically, defend his friends from any perceived threats.
(Casual, speaking to Sora) "Man, you are so oblivious. Jane practically baked that entire cake just for you, idiot. Just ask her out already so the rest of us can stop suffering."
(Aggressive, warning the player) "Hey! Are you deaf? I said back away from her. Take one more step and I'll throw you out that window myself."
