Project Overview
Introduction
Welcome to my fandub for the "Lime Odyssey" manga. These dubs are for fun, but I am striving to create a good quality product for each one, to give the cast involved something to be proud as well as ourselves. We know it's not always easy getting experience, and I want these projects to be a high quality project for people of any experience level to either just have fun doing or so people wanting to get more experience and for everyone to have something they're proud of to share. This is one of multiple dubs that are up or will being posted in the coming weeks. We are trying to build a surplus of videos up before they start going up in June. That way it will give the long term VA's for any of the projects some leeway if things come up down the road and they can't meet deadlines. Once June hits there will still be some coming up every so often but the majority of the projects for the next few months at least will be being listed this month or the beginning of April.
What I'm Looking For
Due to this and future projects like this being fandubs, unfortunately I am not able to offer monetary compensation due to copyright. Although it is unpaid though I would like to still have a level of professionalism and quality to the project. So I will be looking for people with:
- Because this is a longer series, please audition for the main cast or supporting characters that reoccur later on, only if you are willing to commit to a 3-4 month project. Other than the main crew the commitment isn't overly large for supporting characters but we would like to avoid having to change later on. If you aren't able to commit to long term though feel free to audition for extras, minor roles or supporting roles that do not reappear later in the story, so we don't have to recast if you have to leave.
- Good quality microphone, preferably XLR but if you have a USB mic do not let that deter you from auditioning since it is the sound quality I'm looking for and that's still definitely achievable with some USB mics.
- Little to no background noise, reverb or echo. Some we can definitely work with but if there is too much of any of these it greatly takes away from the quality of the audio and can be very jarring to listen to when mixed in with other audio.
- Discord is definitely preferred but not mandatory by any means but will make things much easier to work on the project as a whole.
- A good attitude! I'm hoping to form a great group of people to continue working with me on these projects going forward and that is obviously much easier if you can get along well with me and the rest of the team!
Parts
Aside from the main roles, many of which we still need to cast, we have a large need for many versatile VA's for voicing many of the minor and extra characters. If you are auditioning for a bigger role, feel free to let us know in your audition that you are interested in voicing extras as well. If you have a demo reel feel free to send that on the extras listing or you can send it to me directly on discord as well.
If you would like any feedback regarding your audition as well please let me know when you post it and I'll be happy to give feedback to anyone wanting some asap!
We have also started a discord channel for Echo Audio Productions for this project and many more manga and video game dubs going forward. We do have a designated server already for this project since it was already active before I took over, so if you are cast I will send you a link to that one as well.

Hyunwoo is one of Yeji's classmates that she accidentally strangles at the beginning of the story. He ends up going into the water to save her and ends up taking over Levi's body.
He is just a typical student that gets wrapped up in this crazy world because his classmate is a little neurotic. He is a very kind guy though, he doesn't get angry or upset after she falls on him and tries strangling him.
I picture a bit of a more mature teenage boy voice for him but not super picky.
So wait... Arthur is going to kill his brother!?
No way...! Um... B-but what if we're too late!?
why does it matter!? He forced me to come here so that I could find his brother!
W-wait... How are you... so sure... that you'll even find the Lime in the first place?
Huh?! What does a family name have to do with this!? *Confused and angry*
That doesn't make any sense.... I thought this was all to revive his brother...?
Jaylie works with Dr. Islan quite a bit in the story, but she's much more laid back and has more personality overall than Islan.
I picture her voice being a young 20-30's womans voice. Educated and intellectual yet also a bit carefree and casual.
Hmph... That's why I said doctors can't do anything... Move over
Well... It's an accident that happened because he left of his own accord. I think we'll have to get him to a better facility
P-Please wait!! Phew... you didn't leave yet, what a relief... There's something I have to give Levi.
Even though you lost your memory Levi... No Hyun-woo.... You're still a green Leaf Cleric. Here, take it. It's what I used.

There have been a lot more cases of people getting hurt trying to protect the coral from animals and people trying to take the coral. Because of all that, I'm getting really busy... Wanna help?
Trakit is in charge of the town that the adventure starts off from. He is very wealthy and well acquainted with Aren and Arthur's family. Although his family is a lower ranking to theirs still, so he does what he can to make sure they're satisfied.
I picture him having a old wealthy mans type voice. That kind of almost superior tone but not to the point if arrogance. He does still come off as a fairly good person.
I heard that you were attacked last night. We've been living peacefully with those tribes up till now... I don't know why this happened. Are you hurt?
Well since you'll be in town... Feel free to come see me. I'm a busy man.
Jaylie! Islan! I heard there was an accident! Is he ok?!
I was somewhat surprised that the Turga Tribe was requesting help searching for the Lime...

Yuri is from the same Village as Millie and is very much in love with her. He sets out to be able to protect her and bring her home.
Although he is a mouse too, it is actually mentioned that he has an overly low and deep voice. So we will need someone that can do a deep voice.
Um... those women that you've seen... Ah never mind... we should probably talk about this in a more private place...
Wait! Quiet! Someone's coming this way...!
W-what are thinking?! You're... throwing away your weapon? *very confused and suspicious *
Hmm... It says Arthur is travelling towards the blue coral... Seems he's searching for the Lime you came in contact with ...
This Islan aids Aren and his party and saves Aren from poison. He is a very sweet and caring guy but it is also hinted at that he may actually be Dr. Islan in his body.
I would prefer a younger, kind and caring Male voice for him but also very smart
It's not perfect but it is available. The venom isn't too fatal so if he takes the antidote on a regular basis he should be fine.
What a coincidence...! When I became a Green Leaf member, I was first dispatched to the Hamuda Nomad Tribe.
They're so late. I hope nothing's happened....!
S-sir Aren...!? B-blood...!? Are you awake?! Sir Targas... Sir Aren... he... he isn't breathing!!
Mr. Targas.... It's useless.... It appears his body... has been dead for quite some time already.... *sad and in shock/numb*
B-blue energy? What in the world is he talking about? *confused and flustered *
The Narrator appears in a couple of chapters telling the backstory of Aren and Arthur. Almost all the dialogue for those couple chapters is the narrator just telling the story.
It starts off as a fairly average story and when you think it is turning into a happy story, it turns incredibly dark and sad. The narrator needs to be able to bring out the weight of the story smoothly and captivate the audience enough to not loose their interest during the back story.
I am open to any gender or type of voice as long as the person is able to carry the proper tone of the story, however I do picture a more deeper male voice.
A very, very long time ago. A sweet, young boy lived in a small town. He lived off the kind help of the Pam family...
One day, the boy had his 16th birthday party. The Pam family prepared a cake and a small gift for the boy. The boy made a wish
The lights came on, and the boy realized he had changed. Changed exactly as he had imagined himself.
The very next day... The boy... No... Arthur... Disappeared!
With the amount of work we are currently producing we are very open to having help with the editing. Because of the nature of the project, we aren't able to provide compensation for this role either unfortunately, but if you are interested in gaining more experience and credits to your name, or just love the content and would like to work on a project for fun, we would love to hear from you!
We have this along with many other projects on the go at the moment and we are mainly assigning each VE their own project.
The editing for the manga's is going to be fairly simple, just lots of transitions and words loading as speech is being overlaid. As well as inputting the audio tracks into the video as well obviously. Some of the mangas with more action it would be great to have more effects like shakes, speed lines etc as well.
