Extra notes for the story/main cast:
The whole thing will have a high school beginning, an adult middle, and a bittersweet yet happy end.
The age rating will be for teens and young adults.
The total length is subject to change.
Humans possess 2015-2019 Aphmau-style player skins and knowingly coexist with werewolves, Meif'wa, witches, warlocks, and merfolk.
Animals are non-anthropomorphic.
Werewolves possess human bodies, wolf ears, and a wolf tail.
Meif'wa possess human bodies, cat ears, and a cat tail.
Witches wear modern clothes and use magic like potions, spells, and familiars.
Mermaids are germophobic and resemble humans on land unless wet, which turns the legs into a fish tail.
Aethers are as powerful as gods, possess a supernova suicide attack, and use advanced technology while not being inherently good.
Exterminators are not inherently evil, infight in large numbers, and possess superior strength and intelligence compared to the Aethers while being genetically unrelated to the latter due to being around longer.
The dialogue will be animesque but non-cringeworthy, and minimal swearing is allowed.

Prequel novel outline (chapter titles, location names, and supporting character names and personalities are up to you):
Prologue
After surviving the Exterminators' near-extinction, Voidseid used his intimate knowledge of genetic engineering and robotics to build an order that would not suffer from betrayal while settling on medieval Earth, where he adopted two human orphans comprising a girl, whom he named Malwere, and a boy, whom he named Omegatron, infusing them with his DNA in an attempt to appease his newfound loneliness.
Beginning
Fast forward to the modern day, where Voidseid and his followers have managed to secure human alter egos as the heads of a corporation, with the disguised Voidseid once working with a business partner not known to him to have been an Aether in disguise, specifically Luna's grandfather.
Middle
Following an unsuccessful assassination attempt on Voidseid, who was forced to subdue the assailant via his Exterminator powers, he was provided medical aid by the still-disguised Omegatron and Malwere, both of whom later visited Voidseid in hospital, where they informed him that the assassin was not only a corporate rival but also, after the two examined the corpse, they found an Aether artifact in the human's possession. Alarmed by the fact that the Aethers could still be alive, Voidseid, after recovering, decided to take matters into his own hands by modifying the Rule of Three to include one additional fourth member at any given time under the strict requirement of being terminated once their purpose has been served to maintain the decree of only three members, which worked for a while in eliminating the remaining Aethers until the Exterminator was eventually killed in battle against an Aether not revealed to be Luna's father, prompting the Three Exterminators to give the fourth Exterminator's successor a small squad of Wither Storm Troopers to aid them in their hunt.
End
Meanwhile, Luna, as a young child, and her older sister would stay up late and go past their bedtime watching horror movies - while Luna's older sister, who was unfazed, would comfort the crying Luna if she got scared, as well as hang out with Jack and his older brother at the local graveyard, where Luna's older sister would angrily hit Jack on the head with a bat if he pranked Luna, causing him to stop eventually. However, after tragedy struck in the form of Luna, Jack, and his older brother one day while walking home from hanging out with Luna's older sister in the snow, and witnessed Luna's older sister being dragged away by an unknown pair of figures, unrevealed to be Wither Storm Troopers - but not before yelling at the top of her lungs for Jack and his older brother to get Luna out of here before disappearing, leading Luna, upon being dropped off at home, to develop a fear of heavy snow, her parents comprising a father unrevealed as an Aether and a human mother currently pregnant with Luna's younger sister, were prompted to move away with her, leaving Jack behind but not before he and Luna had a tearful goodbye and vowed to reunite at some point. That night, after arriving at their new house, Luna's father was busy grieving in his office when he suddenly looked at a picture of his father and another man, Voidseid's alter ego, shaking hands, prompting him to realize, after a phone call, that the Exterminators survived to trick him all along and spend most of the night trashing his office in a fit of rage at losing his eldest daughter, which eventually ended when his human wife and daughter Luna tearfully looked at him in shock at him being this angry, prompting him to calm down and apologize, to which the three of them head to bed uneasy, with Luna suffering the worst discomfort as she cries herself to sleep, wondering why her sister disappeared and what her father is hiding, which, unknown to her, is her father's, her sisters', and her own identities as Aethers, hoping that the extended therapy sessions the next day will help the three of them recover and get through this together.
Epilogue
Back to the Three Exterminators in the basement of their corporate building, where they can freely shed their disguises without exposing themselves too early, Omegatron and Malwere report to Voidseid at his office that there is good news and bad news, the good of which is that Omegatronus' troopers successfully captured the currently off-screen human-Aether hybrid, not revealed as Luna's older sister, for them to interrogate, but the bad news is that Omegatronus himself was nowhere to be found, indicating he had either betrayed them or defected, but this does not really bother Voidseid, who claims that they will simply find a replacement fourth Exterminator to hunt him down and that now that they have a living late-surviving Aether in their possession, things just got a whole lot easier, ending on a cliffhanger as the Three Exterminators smirk and laugh slightly.
Zeroth Episode Outline (episode titles, location names, and supporting character names and personalities are up to you):
Beginning
Within her cell, Luna's older sister sits there on the floor with her clothes tattered and her hands tied behind her back before the Three Exterminators, having shed their human forms, finally decide to pay her a visit and sarcastically ask her if she is ready to talk.
Middle
Luna's older sister then responds by spitting in Omegatron's face, much to his frustration, and telling him that she would rather die than expose her family but before Omegatron can lash out at her, Voidseid tells him to calm down while letting him handle this and walks up to the girl to inform her that she might not speak but her memories will, prompting Voidseid to shine a laser from his bare hand at Luna's older sister's forehead, causing her to start to groan in pain and close her eyes to avoid going blind, ending on a cliffhanger with Voidseid, as his two subordinates stand there with cold smiles watching, telling Luna's older sister that it is only a matter of time before her mind tells him everything, cutting to black exactly after she defiantly yells "NEVER!" and before her mind gets fully searched.
End
Meanwhile, in her bedroom, a fifteen-year-old Luna, donning her PJs of a T-shirt, shorts, and slippers while unaware of her Aether heritage from her father due to him never revealing his, hers, her older sister's, or her younger sister's ears, wings, and tail before, uses a bathroom mirror to rehearse for her first day of high school the following morning. However, off-screen, her parents and younger sister yell for her to get to bed, as it is late at night. Luna complies, but not before she sheds a tear at a photo of herself as a young child with her family, sadly wondering about what had happened to her older sister and determined to figure out the cause one day, one way or another.
First Episode Outline:
Beginning
Luna's alarm clock fails to wake her up, so her family's pet bird does the job instead, much to her annoyance, before she heads to the bathroom to get ready.
Middle
After eating breakfast and having a brief chat with her little sister, Luna, now in her casual clothes, her backpack on her back, and her cellphone in her pocket, hugs her parents and heads outside to walk to school. Upon arriving at the school, Luna is so enamored by how it looks that she nearly trips, only for a boy, not revealed as Lucas, to pick her up and help her to her feet, to which she says thanks, but he tells her not to get used to it and leaves before Luna can ask if he wants to be friends, leading her to call him a mean jerk.
End
In the school's hallways, Luna is lost and frustrated, only to bump into another boy, whom she promptly tries to apologize to, to which he tries to accept it and looks at her awkwardly, before they recognize each other, as the boy is Jack. After Luna gives Jack a big hug, they check their schedules and happily realize they have the same first class together: homeroom. Once there and at their seats, Luna and Jack are thrilled at what is in store for them next.
