Introduction - The Game
Is a role-playing game developed by Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation in 1999 in Japan, 2000 in North America, and 2001 in Europe. Set in a high fantasy fictional world called Endiness, the game follows a group of warriors led by the protagonist, Dart, as they attempt to stop the destruction of the world. The Legend of Dragoon takes place in a world referred to in-game as "Endiness". Its aesthetic resembles the Middle Ages with fantasy elements such as swords, magic, and dragons. The world contains a variety of species including Humans, Dragons, and Winglies. Humans live as farmers while Dragons look like winged creatures and possess Dragon Spirits. Winglies are an aggressive species that can fly and enslaved humans 10,000 years before the start of the game. Humans became Dragoons by obtaining the help of Dragons to defeat the Winglies and, at the time of the game's events, live in relative peace.
There are nine playable protagonists in the game. The main protagonist is Dart, a warrior who is searching for the Black Monster. Shana is Dart's childhood friend and love interest. Rose is a warrior who teaches Dart how to fight as a Dragoon. Albert is the king of Basil, a duchy within the game and Lavitz is his loyal knight who fights with a spear. Meru is a dancer from a flower town and Kongol is the last of his species alive in the game's world. Haschel is an elderly man searching for his daughter and Miranda is a magician.
Scope of Each Role
The game isn't fully voiced, instead, characters have accent lines spoken during certain FMV, Each voice will be dubbed and redone for each role. Previous or Current knowledge of the game and its characters are preferred but not necessary.
Auditioning
This is a Volunteer ONLY casting call and is not offering any sort of payment other than free commercial sponsorship for your voice and traction for the game in hopes get a remake to push it immensely in the LOD community, but also giving this beautiful gem of a game a voiced persona for which it deserves and no less. Current progress is 3+Episodes in and doing well but in need of more interested Extras, and upcoming main roles.
Requirements
* Up to 3 takes for each line.
* Please do not slate your audition.
* Please submit auditions as .mp3 files.
* Please include your email address and Discord username, if you have one, with your audition.
* Please record in a quiet space free of background noise! I'll be using the takes to figure out how the final product will sound.
Getting Cast
Once you've been cast, if you agree to the role, you'll receive a quick contract establishing my rights to use the voice lines commercially, and solidifying terms and conditions. Upon signing the form, you will officially receive the part. All information on the Project "Currently in Progress" is updated in our discord.

Any and all types of voice, for extras in the massive world of Endiness. If you think you are capable of voicing side characters for the project feel free to input your own type of lines as well for reference as we are looking for potential candidates as well stretching from kids to women and aged character castings. These will be the voices to breath life into the world of Legend of Dragoon.

Kaiser: "I thought I was trying to relax her!! Now, that settles the matter. I
want Dart and the others to go look around Hoax. The night guards have
to know the place. After you look around, come back to me. Stay with
me, Lavitz. I want to go over the battle conditions with you."
Knight of Basil: "The Seventh Fort in the Marshland is under the fierce attack
of the Dragon! Due to that, the Tenth and Thirteenth
Knighthoods are almost overwhelmed! Survivors are still
responding!"
Mother to Lavitz Slambert of the First Knighthood, kindhearted and very loving to Lavitz. Is wishing for grandchildren and just wants her son to be happy in life.
"Oh Lavitz!! It's Lavitz!! I was worried because I didn't hear from you for a long time."
"Well, fine. I am already happy just having you come home, but.... You brought a bride with you! My big baby!"
"Lavitz, please find somebody like her so that I can hold a grandchild in my arms. You are not a child anymore."
Royal Adviser to King Albert, Noish holds a critical role in LOD as he explains key lore about the "The Dragon Campaign" to Darts party in Basil. he has a very low but respectful tone of voice from past FMV lines, and is known for having sort of an Optimus prime personality (all knowing). "Hmm, there is hardly any information left. Everything that was related
to him was reduced to ashes. The only thing I know is: the Black Monster
is called the devil that disobeyed the great existence, and it is also
known for devouring the god."
Noish: "Ha ha ha! It was true! His Majesty was so dismayed that he couldn't see
to his affairs of state."
Noish: "You're exactly right, Your Majesty. Instead, I will tell you the story
of the Dragon Campaign. As if they were gods, Winglies ruled over all
living creatures, and used them as slaves. The enslaved suffered a
terrible domination and injustice. Their anger turned to a flame of
fury; then, a gust of wind blew throughout the lands, spreading the
flame to a blazing fire. The wind was Emperor Diaz. Seven incarnations
Dragons served the emperor. Their bravery inspired people to take up
arms. Thus began the Dragon Campaign. It was a harsh war. Both people
and Winglies suffered countless injuries and fatalities. After a long
period of suffering, it was the humans who aquired the future. The age
of humans had begun."
A mother Dart and friends first bump into in Bale. She has a sick daughter in Rouge. She believes stardust actually exist and travels around the world to find it.
Martel: "Hey! Watch yourself!! Are you blind or what!?"
Martel: "Don't make up excuses. Behave like a man!"
Martel: "Can you be quiet? The baby's crying."Martel: "Well we gotta go baby. There is no time to waste."
Kongol is a Giganto with black hair in the style of a mohawk, red markings over each of his eyes that resembles a face paint and eyes with no irises.
His appearance and as a initial boss character, he was seen in shirtless and wears only a brown cross belted armor with a skull insignia at the center of his chest, yellow pauldrons in each side of his shoulder, a brown loincloth with a black belt with a bull shaped buckle and a traditional black furred with steel strapped gray boots. He also wears a traditional brown gloves with black furred sleeves and wields the giant axe. As a boss character, Kongol unsheathes his giant axe and fights barehanded.
As a Giganto, Kongol doesn't posses a high level of intelligence. However, he is extremely loyal to someone that cares about him and will do anything to protect them. His loyalty is easily seen toward Emperor Doel and Dart, which means Kongol is a man who knows to repay others' kindness. He is also serious yet fierce in the battlefield. His personality makes him easily acceptable by the team, even though his closest teammate is most likely only Dart because he owes him his life as seen in his speech with Indora.
(Literally the persona of Kimarii from FF10 of Legend of Dragoon but with more bruteness like Hulk)
Kongol: "Giganto don't die! Giganto will pay you back!!"
Kongol: "Kongol needs no weapon!! Kongol beats you with his Hands!!
Kongol: "UGH" (getting hit sound effects)
Greham (グラハム, Gurahamu, lit. "Graham") is the former head of the Second Knighthood of Basil. He is responsible for breaking the peace, resurrecting the Serdian War, and the massacre of most of Basil's army by commanding Feyrbrand. He is first discovered in the Nest of the Dragon, where he has the power of the Wind Element Jade Dragoon Spirit, which was given to him by Emperor Doel. The Dragoons must fight him and Feyrbrand in the Nest of the Dragon, while Lavitz is looking for answers.
As a Basil knight, he fights alongside his friend, and Lavitz's father, Servi. But he is jealous of Servi. He betrays and kills Servi because he knows that he would be unable to surpass Servi. He also betrays Prince Albert, and all of Basil. He switches allegiance to Emperor Doel and defects to the Imperial Sandora.
(Will be participating in fighting voice lines as well which will be improv) FYI this is NOT a Parody!
Greham: "Welcome, Lavitz. You have become a knight fulfilling the wishes of
your late father, Servi."
Greham: "Are you still carrying that grudge after more than a dozen years for
my betrayal of your father!?"
Greham: "'Get revenge'...huh? Try! See if you can truly best me and my newly
obtained power!"
Dabas is a cheerful merchandiser first introduced in Volcano Villude, where he is in a pinch. Dart and company rescues him and receives a Sapphire Pin in return for saving him.
Later in the game, he moves from Volcano Villude and can only be found in his antique shop in Lohan, where he tells Dart and his friends about the location of the Dragoni Plant needed to cure Shana from her disease.
(He is a very goofy, ecentric and happy merchant that enjoys the partys company)
Dabas: "I'm Dabas of Lohan. I was told I could find a 'Burning Gem' around here
so I came, and look what happened to me! By the way, I am an antique
dealer. If you happen to be in Lohan, why don't ya drop by. Later!"
[Dart pulls him up from a ledge.]
Dabas: "Phew! Thanks! Really!! I didn't think I would make it!!"
Dabas: "Yeah, thanks! I can't thank you enough, but please at least take this!"
Dabas: "Yes, you have to! You folks saved my life! I'll feel bad if you folks
don't take it!"
