"On-going" Legend of Dragoon Dub Project (Updated)
Dylan William van de Wal for Minister Noish
Royal Adviser to King Albert, Noish holds a critical role in LOD as he explains key lore about the "The Dragon Campaign" to Darts party in Basil. he has a very low but respectful tone of voice from past FMV lines, and is known for having sort of an Optimus prime personality (all knowing). We would like a similar take on this version but of course there's more lines involved now to give him a sense of character. https://youtu.be/z4w5qn2UhoE
"Hmm, there is hardly any information left. Everything that was related
to him was reduced to ashes. The only thing I know is: the Black Monster
is called the devil that disobeyed the great existence, and it is also
known for devouring the god."Noish: "Ha ha ha! It was true! His Majesty was so dismayed that he couldn't see
to his affairs of state."Noish: "You're exactly right, Your Majesty. Instead, I will tell you the story
of the Dragon Campaign. As if they were gods, Winglies ruled over all
living creatures, and used them as slaves. The enslaved suffered a
terrible domination and injustice. Their anger turned to a flame of
fury; then, a gust of wind blew throughout the lands, spreading the
flame to a blazing fire. The wind was Emperor Diaz. Seven incarnations
Dragons served the emperor. Their bravery inspired people to take up
arms. Thus began the Dragon Campaign. It was a harsh war. Both people
and Winglies suffered countless injuries and fatalities. After a long
period of suffering, it was the humans who aquired the future. The age
of humans had begun."
WOW good lord this just sent me into a trance, it's like I had the cutscene in Bale loaded up and ready to go and your voice sounds almost identical to Minister Noish. Well done!
Aaah that's great to hear! That's definitely what I wanted to convey 😁 LoD is my favorite game and I want to do it justice
I reckon everyone who has submitted their audition is in the same boat as you and I, a love for this game like no other! I started when I was 8 and now I'm almost 30 and still hooked on LoD :D
That's so awesome! And if they're not, this is a great way to educate people about this game 😁 sure the game has its flaws, but I love it regardless
That's so true, there's also something so inspiring and amazing about educating people who have no idea about this hidden gem, and then in turn watching them fall in love with it in their own unique ways :D
Indeed! I'm 34 now and I played it first when it released, i have so many great memories with it. I was stuck for years on disc 4 at the grid that you had to cross. Walkthroughs weren't a thing back then 😋 the music i hum daily, it's great that a project like this came to existence ♥
Hit the nail on the head there, this project is going to be one for the history books, for fans new and old! The OST is a banger too haha
