Ventus and Roxas have the exact same voice, so they will obviously be played by the same person even though you're only auditioning for Ventus.

Ventus is the youngest of the three Keyblade warriors. Personality-wise, he has many similarities with Sora; he's sweet, cheerful, curious, and gets excited at anything new or interesting, but he feels disappointed whenever Aqua and Terra refuse to allow him to join them on their missions because they do not want to put him in "harm's way."

Aqua shows some similarities to Kairi, which she shows by making good luck charms for her friends. She also has a devotion to her friends similar to that of Sora's, for she did everything in her power to protect Ventus from harm and even sacrificed herself to save Terra. She is also similar to Sora in that she holds a strong sense of justice and desire to do what is right. Her judgments between what is right and wrong are never misplaced, although Ventus and Terra sometimes lose sight of the right thing to do. Her personality is serious, kind, strong willed, intelligent, and responsible, as she is the most reliable of the three.

Terra's calm and cool exterior hides a heart that would fight for his friends. However, Terra struggles to keep himself on the right path, and is constantly tempted by the power of darkness, similarly to Riku. Oblivious to the fact that Master Xehanort is attempting to seduce him into darkness, he begins to doubt those closest to him, and only recognizes his mistakes after the fact. While not gullible, Terra can be overly trusting, which most villains use to their advantage, leading to several of his misadventures.

Master Eraqus is a strong Keyblade master, caring for Terra, Ventus, and Aqua as his own children. Stern and willing to instruct, one major goal he has in life appears to be preserving peace throughout the worlds, as he rashly attacks Ventus when Eraqus discovers that through his dark half, Vanitas, Ventus can create the χ-blade, the weapon that sparked the Keyblade War and the means Master Xehanort intends to use to fulfill his goals. Unlike Master Xehanort, Eraqus has an open aversion to darkness, believing that it must be destroyed at all costs, and has at least partially ingrained these beliefs into his apprentices.

Much like Xehanort, "Ansem", and Xemnas, Master Xehanort is shown to be a cunning, callous, and pragmatic being with the sole goal of merging with Kingdom Hearts and become all-knowing, the lives of innocent people and even his closest friends meaning absolutely nothing to him. To this end, he is willing to put whatever he pleases on the line or destroy anything in his way, demonstrated when he manipulated several characters such as Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Braig, and even Maleficent; creates Vanitas, a sentient being for the sole purpose of forwarding his evil plan; and slays his old friend, Master Eraqus, in cold blood after tricking Terra into defeating him in battle.

The boy who doesn't want to grow up. Leader of the Lost Boys. Fun loving, trouble maker that lives for giving Captain Hook a hard time.

Phil is a grumpy yet caring satyr with high expectations. He lives on with a dream of training the ultimate hero, wanting a picture of them to be hung in the stars and for everyone to acknowledge his accomplishment.

Pete is very mean, selfish and, shown at various points, cowardly. He tends to get scared in the presence of characters with overwhelming power, or in situations of being outnumbered. He is quite loyal to Maleficent, although his cowardice interferes from time to time. He has the tendency to run at the mouth, bragging and insulting, even with people such as Hades. Whenever he is defeated, he runs off in a huff. Though Pete appears incompetent, his heart has strangely been strong enough to resist the darkness.

Captain Justice
Pete—Disney Town's biggest trouble maker—in disguise. The truth-and-justice shtick is just a ploy to garner votes and win him the Million Dreams Award prize.

Sadly, this particular "hero" is better known for his deeds of derring-don't.

Captain Dark
A "secret" identity assumed by Pete, Disney Town's biggest troublemaker. He is pretending to be a shadowy hero to garner votes and win the Million Dreams Award prize.

Unfortunately, he's more shady than shadowy, and there's nothing heroic about him.

Zack's personality can somewhat be compared to Ventus's. He is happy, cheerful, and good at making new friends, and he quickly befriends Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Hercules, and Phil. He is also shown to be a good sport, seen once Phil chooses to train Hercules, and again when he is defeated by Aqua. Zack does have his fair share of patience and seems to take disappointment rather well, dismissing it as "lousy luck". An example of this would be when Phil picked Herc over him. Zack's biggest ambition is to become a hero, much like his Final Fantasy self, and it proves to be his primary motivator. He can be very persistent and earnest, chasing Phil around town, and he relentlessly pursues his dream of becoming a hero, so much so that Phil nicknames him "Captain Eager".

Maleficent is a scheming, manipulative, and cunning sorceress who seems utterly determined to take over the dominion of Kingdom Hearts. She is mostly seen in a cool, calculated manner, easily manipulating Riku into helping her aims, claiming she views him like a long lost son, while she pretends to care about helping him find Kairi. Maleficent is a very dramatic villain, often shouting at the heroes about the power of darkness and making eccentric speeches. In Kingdom Hearts II, she is determined to avenge her previous defeat at Sora's hand. She doesn't tolerate failure, as shown when she berates Pete for his attempt to take over Kingdom Hearts without her.

Hades is one of the most temperamental characters in the series. Although others are shown to be temperamental, Hades bursts out in anger on a more regular basis.

Jaq is a natural leader who takes charge of the mice in Cinderella's care, often taking it upon himself to welcome newer mice to the group, such as Gus. He is extremely clever, and takes great enjoyment in using this cleverness to outwit Lucifer, the cat of the Tremaine household who longs to eat Jaq and his friends. Out of all the mice, Jaq seems to have the strongest relationship with Cinderella; she often monitors his leadership and expects that he keeps an eye on the other mice.

Hercules is shown to be tough, yet caring, willing to withstand hours of intense training at the hands of his mentor, Phil. He has a genuine love for Megara, and is willing to sacrifice even his own life for her. He is not without fault, however, as insults from Hades and a series of tough matches, including a loss to the Hydra, cause the hero to doubt his worth. It is when his friends' lives are most in danger that Hercules realizes he is not worthless, and that, in his words, "A true hero is measured by the strength of his heart."

As the "dark" half of Ventus's Heart, Vanitas was at first much like him. However, due to the suffering he endured by the hands of Master Xehanort, and his desperate desire for salvation, he became proud, cunning, and cruel in order to achieve enough strength to forge the χ-Blade with Ventus, believing that to be the salvation he desires. As such, the lives of others, including that of even Master Xehanort, hold absolutely no value to him, and he shows zero remorse for his actions. As a pragmatist, he will strike without a moment's thought, warning, or hesitation, as seen when he ambushes Aqua in the Keyblade Graveyard and attempts to eliminate her.

Despite his loyalty to Master Xehanort, he has no qualms with disregarding his orders if he feels the need arises; for example, he attempts to eliminate Ventus after defeating him in their first battle despite full knowledge that Master Xehanort needed Ventus alive for his plans, all while openly acknowledging that he would be going against Xehanort's plans by doing so.

Since Braig is the original persona of Xigbar, he possesses some of Xigbar's personality. He is shown to have a laid-back, cocky attitude, and doesn't often take things seriously. Braig can also be cold and merciless at times, seen once when he kidnaps Master Xehanort and tries to eliminate Terra for his Keyblade (although this was later revealed to be staged by Master Xehanort), and again when he tries to destroy Aqua and Ventus to get Terra to fall to darkness and cruelly asking who wants to go first. He often refers to Master Xehanort as an "old coot", and like Xigbar, very frequently says "As if".

Captain Hook is very arrogant and full of himself, and gets angry if someone insults him. He tends to hold a grudge against Peter Pan for stealing his hand and feeding it to the crocodile. He is an excellent manipulator and liar. An example of this is when he manipulated Terra, in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. He is cowardly and sometimes acts like a wimp, particularly when he hears the sound of the Crocodile coming close by. However, he is also an excellent sword fighter and a bomb expert, making him a challenge in combat.

Queen Minnie is very humble, regards herself as equal to her citizens, and displays very little hubris toward her status as queen. For example, she asks Aqua to address her simply as "Minnie". She cares very much for those dear to her, such as Mickey, Donald and Goofy, hoping for their safe return from their journey. Minnie also has little tolerance for evildoers, such as Pete and Maleficent, demanding to know what they are up to. The status of her kingdom also concerns her because of the Unversed and Heartless's appearances throughout the years and causing chaos.

Gantu appreciates his position of authority amongst the military forces of his world, but his great size and strength often lead him to underestimate those smaller than he is. He shows no tolerance for failure, ensuring underlings do as told. Gantu also demonstrates a great loyalty to the Grand Councilwoman, displaying equally powerful negative feelings towards Experiment 626 and his friends: Terra, Ventus, and Aqua.

While little is known about his life as a Keyblade Master, the elderly sorcerer is shown to be a rather stern man. In almost every instance, he is shown to be frowning. But beneath his harsh exterior belies a man who strongly believes in his apprentices no matter how much mischief they may get up to, demonstrated by when he expresses annoyance at Mickey for running off with the Star Shard and recklessly getting lost with it, but then forgives Mickey and awards him the title of Master with an encouraging smile.

Cinderella has been known to be a very hardworking and honest young woman, who is skillful in doing multiple house chores each day and cooking as she constantly serves her stepmother and two stepsisters.
She is not afraid to speak her mind and her dreams to her mouse friends, yet is completely passive and obedient to her step-family right until she goes to the ball. Cinderella is frightened by Lady Tremaine, concerned that if she does not follow Tremaine's orders or upsets Tremaine too much, she will be punished and potentially end up in a worse place.
She has shown kindness to everyone around her, including her mouse friends and even to her harsh stepmother and mean stepsisters.

Dr. Jumba wishes to see his experiments' success, and be recognized by others as the evil genius he believes himself to be. He is otherwise angered when called a failure, and would rather tinker with objects around him than become physically active, hence the large exterior. Even though he claims to be evil, Jumba's actions during Lilo & Stitch contradict this. Jumba is very friendly to nearly everyone on the island.

King Mickey is a kind, brave, and noble king, valuing friendship and integrity much more highly than others. Though he is a King, he has little care for his title as King and often prefers his closest friends to address him by his name, such as when he and Riku bonded during their adventure in Castle Oblivion. He is also not above helping people himself.

Sora has a typical brave and heroic personality, meaning he'll willingly risk his life for people he doesn't even know yet, as shown when he tries to save Ansem the Wise from the explosion, to no avail. He's extremely loyal to his friends, and has been shown to be extremely forgiving to Riku, even forgiving him for the times he has tried to kill him, and very protective of Kairi.

The Fairy Godmother lives in Castle of Dreams, where she watches over the poor Cinderella, who begins the world's storyline serving Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella like in the classic Walt Disney film.

he serves the King as his right-hand man. This unfortunately leads to death threats and other forms of pain being mentioned when the King loses his temper.

Despite this, there is no love lost between the duo, the klutzy Duke always given a second chance. When the glass slipper belonging to Cinderella was left behind, he was sent on a desperate search to discover the girl for Prince Charming to marry after the royal ball.

Lea is both childish and competitive, willing to disrupt Isa's schedule for his fight with Ventus. This is also evident during the ending credits when he is seen trying to escape from Dilan's grasp by flailing around his limbs, unlike Isa, who realized they couldn't escape and barely moved.

He wishes for everyone he ever meets to remember him, so he can live on forever through people's memories. Like his Nobody, he uses the phrase "Got it memorized?" on multiple occasions.

A fair but firm member of the Galactic Council, the Grand Councilwoman wishes to preserve order in the galaxy. She can be extremely temperamental at times, especially when those under her employ disappoint her. She does have moments where she shows mercy, however, being all about the rules.

The Queen is depicted as a vain and jealous individual. She is quite cruel, willing to kill Snow White out of her own jealousy, and shows no kindness to anyone, including her own servants. She also has zero tolerance for failure, punishing anyone who defies or fails her; an example of this is when she turns the Magic Mirror into an Unversed when he refused to attack Terra.

Originally, Ansem was a peaceful and kind scholar, who sought to learn more to help him in his reign as Radiant Garden's king. He was willing to trust his closest students with his findings and even asked for their assistance. Upon nursing Terra-Xehanort back to health, Ansem let him live in his castle, showing compassion for people with amnesia. He bonded with King Mickey, forming a deep friendship that helped heal his heart in times of stress. However, he could be stern, given he yelled at Xehanort for trying to continue their taboo experiments.

Scrooge is the richest duck in the world, having gained his massive wealth from hard work and being "tougher than the toughies and smarter than the smarties and making it square," on the course of his many adventures in finding treasure and through mining and other business endeavors. He's a traveler by nature, journeying all over, and even between worlds, in search of treasure and ways of expanding his many businesses.
Having worked so hard to acquire his wealth, Scrooge has become rather stingy and greedy; he loves his money more than anything in the world and seldom spends any more of it than he has to. Still, he values honesty and fair play, and doesn't like to be in anyone's debt. Like his nephew, Donald, he has a temper, and can appear grouchy and selfish, but is a good-hearted person nevertheless and his care for his family exceeds his love for money.

Smee is a weak-willed character, often seen being rushed around by his captain. Even though his captain gives him a lot of trouble, Smee is very loyal to him. He is clumsy, goofy, and unlike his captain, is very kind. Smee is also very timid, submitting to anything that poses any sort of threat.

Upon his creation, Experiment 626's only purpose was to destroy everything in his path. He would laugh at the chaos he caused, taking pleasure from harming others. However, his time with Terra, Ven, and Aqua changed this, much like it did in the Disney film upon Stitch's encounters with Lilo.

Lady Tremaine is depicted as a cunning, cruel, and as her nickname describes, wicked person. While showing a lot of affection toward her daughters and her cat Lucifer, she shows no love for Cinderella (possibly showing hatefulness towards her), treating her as no less than an indentured servant. But all-in-all, her cruelty and jealousy ultimately becomes her downfall as she is blown away along with her daughters at the hands of the Cursed Coach.

Because of her sheltered lifestyle, Snow White has a rather innocent personality. She likes flowers and is seen picking them, and she also likes singing.
She is also trusting, as seen when she defends Ventus from the Dwarves after he rescues her in the forest and they insist on forcing him to leave because he may be a threat. Snow White's trusting personality becomes one of her flaws, as it almost led to her death when she accepted a poisoned apple from a stranger. Upon being revived, Snow White learns a lesson about the importance of exercising caution.

Donald's Nephews

Donald is the most aggressive member of the group. Though he has mastered spells, Donald is very reckless and is the comic relief in many games. Initially, he and Sora often argued, but in the end grow into a deep friendship. Donald is also very protective over Goofy and King Mickey.

Prince Phillip is the valiant lover of Princess Aurora. As such, he is fearless and quick to oppose any who threatens his love, such as Maleficent. Prince Phillip is also quite strong, being a gifted swordsman. Such combat skill is also recognized by his ability to defend himself against Maleficent's minions, as well as defeating the fierce Maleficent in her dragon form.

The Spirit of the Magic Mirror is not inherently evil, rather it is an obedient servant who will do whatever it is told. It is shown to have little to no emotion, which is emphasized by the dull, monotonous tone in his voice.

Despite its loyalty to the Queen, it has refused her orders, an example being when it was ordered to destroy Terra. It refused, stating it could only answer questions, though it was later forced into doing so. The Spirit also has the unusual tendency to talk in rhymes.

While his name might insinuate that he is simple-minded and unintelligent, it is a misnomer as often times Goofy has shown to the voice of reason for Sora and his companions, and is also amazingly calm and cheerful, retaining his composure when Sora and Donald are completely undone.

Much like her older sister, Anastasia is shown to be spoiled, selfish, and lazy. She will do anything to get her own way, even to the point in which she turns to the darkness in her heart. She sometimes fights with Drizella, but she is most cruel to her step-sister, Cinderella, possibly even showing hatred to her.

Despite her selfishness, she is very loyal to her mother. According to her journal entry, she is shown to play the flute very poorly, but she still takes pride in it.

Like his Nobody Saïx, Isa is much quieter and more mature than his companion, Lea, with a similar speaking tone. He has no interest in fighting on Lea's side in a childish challenge, but is shown smiling as Lea and Ven fight. He is shown having a more carefree personality compared to his Nobody and values his friendship with Lea. He also has a comical side, as he jokingly tries to forget about his friendship with Lea. He is rather sarcastic and doesn't hesitate to mock Lea after he loses his fight with Ventus, though he does so jokingly. Isa values his friendships as he became Saïx again to locate a female friend that he and Lea made when sneaking into Radiant Garden's castle. He and Lea even became apprentices to Ansem the Wise in order to free their unknown friend. It is revealed in secret reports that this was one reason Saïx and Axel worked to have Saïx rise in the ranks of the Organization after Isa and Lea became Nobodies, which was to locate their missing friend.

While Dilan appears to bear similarities in personality to Xaldin, given his rather strict nature, his character seems to be much more benevolent and noble than his Nobody, demonstrated when he was willing to defend Radiant Garden from the Unversed and expressed genuine concern for Ventus's well-being after the latter volunteered to fight the Unversed alone (Dilan himself was only stopped from following Ventus by Even ordering him to return to his post).

A strong possibility is that Xaldin's hostile attitude towards Axel shown in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix stemmed from Dilan's confrontation at the end of Birth by Sleep with Lea, whom he throws out of the castle along with Isa for trespassing.

Much like her sister, Drizella is a spoiled young woman. She's very selfish, and rather lazy, due to Cinderella doing all of the work in the house. She often fights with Anastasia over their clothes, but she's most heartless towards her stepsister. According to her journal entry, her singing voice is poor, and not even the expensive lessons have helped her.

She's shown to be very loyal to her mother, as she and her younger sister stood by their mother until they were blasted away. Drizella's heart is also full of darkness, according to the Fairy Godmother.

Riku only makes a short cameo at the end with literally one line, but since this is a long term project you can choose to continue the role in KH1 onward.

Riku is a calm, cool, collected teenager who is not afraid to push the boundaries. This is illustrated by his lack of fear while stepping into the dark portal during Destiny Islands' demise. His exclamation of, "I'm not afraid of the darkness!", furthers illustrates this point.

During Kingdom Hearts in particular, Riku has a strong competitive streak. He shows his competitive side when he challenges Sora, saying that his heart is stronger than his friend's. Due to the influence that Maleficent has on him, Riku also becomes increasingly jealous of Sora.

Naminé was born without memories and without the knowledge that she had emotions, due to the unusual nature of her birth. Because of this, she had no basis of any acting upon her birth. She simply followed the orders of whoever was close to her because it was the only obvious guidance she had, effectively making her very quiet, fragile, peaceful, forgiving and generous in personality. This led to her discovery of her ability to feel, as often times she found that blindly following her captors hurt others, something that made Naminé feel responsible and guilty.
