"Kare" A Vampire Story
Project Overview
My story is about an ugly girl named Kare who became beautiful once she turned into a vampire. She, the main character of this story, falls in love with a human who despises the dark and "reaches for the light." His name is Hika. She wants to turn Hika, and most of the story is about their relationship, and how she gives this some serious thought. She has a rival vampire, Akuma, who wants to steal everything Kare loves and holds dear. Akuma ends up turning Hika, and he looses sight for the light, and becomes a dark person. Kare is devistated by this, and she turns to the memory of her mother to help her.
Also in this story are: Flower shop girl, random vampire man, Korosu- the Vampire King, Yujin-Hika's best friend, and the Narrator

Very...joking around kind of character. Is very into women, but none are ever into him...He's more or less here just for comic relief.
Range: Sharper, lighter voice, but not too high...a few years into puberty?
Line 1- "Hika! Bro, don't tell me you're just NOW getting a girlfriend?! The hell?! Tell me about her...You laid yet?"*half-jokingly. A normal twentyfirst century guy.*
Line 2- "I swear to God, man...I saw her kill that guy! I'm not lying to you! She's not human!" *yells angrily at Hika who won't believe Kare is a vampire*

As a human, he cherishes life, light, and God more than anything. He wants simple things, and thats why Kare finds him beautiful.
As a vampire, he is darker, and evil. He is the polar opposite of his old self. Kare finds this version of him disgusting.
Range: Hansome sounding, just-grown-up voice. make him sound desirable in his human form. In his vampire form, make him sound dark and evil. With a deeper sound to it.
Line 1 "Hi, My name's Hika. Are you lost? I can take you to the village if you want. It's on my way."
Line 2 "Vampires aren't real...And if they were," He pauses. Then angrily, "They'd be the most disgusting creatures that ever lived. Trading your soul for power? For beauty? What happens when the world ends? When the good will go to heaven...and the demons back to hell.."
Line 3(This is when he's evil. Cocky. Arrogant. Dark) "How didn't I notice it? Humans are really quite fragile things. I could easily break you if I wanted to. With just a flick of my finger,(pause) and you'd be dead."

She's a child, and doesn't like being called one, as she will never age. She's a tragedy in antagonist's clothes.
Range: Sharp, child's voice. However, a seducing child...uh...try your best?
Line 1- "Well...Isn't he just delicious." Laughs, "Maybe I'll go have a taste!"
Line 2- She shrinks back in fear, and then anger, "I'm not a spawn! I'm full grown! I'm full grown.." She cries a bit, then goes back to her calm and collectiveness, "Anyways, I'd never touch your boytoy. Until you don't want him...that is."
Line 3- "But..But you're s'pposed to love me! The way Kare loved you! D-dont...STAY AWAY!!!" She screams these lines in despair, and agony, as her creation tries to kill her.

Line 1- "The girl was ugly. Her nose was too big. Her eyes were dull and too small. Her teeth were crooked. And, worst of all, she had a scar that went across her forehead. No one knew what caused it, but the children often teased her for having it. She would often run to her mother and cry for her misfortune."
Line 2- "Kare saw the boy, and her dark eyes lit up. Who could have predicted that the demon would fall for the angel?"
Line 3- "He looked upon her with disinterest, as if she were a pest in his way. The new one had much to learn about respect, but Kare said nothing. He passed her by, and she said nothing."

Range: Deep, evil, powerful...hypnotising almost?
Line 1- "I made Kare...She was one of my first creations, an ugly duckling turned into a swan...However, my powers, not being fully awakened yet, could never make her love me."
Line 2- "Do not talk to your creator with that sarcastic toungue!" *angrily* "You will have nothing to do with that human boy!"

Teenage...ish...Yet very wise. Remember, Kare's lived a couple thousand years. She can be dark at some times, and light at others.

Line 1 "I'd seen such a beautiful man. He had eyes like saphires, and hair like the yellow sun," *pause* "The instant I laid my eyes on him, everything changed."
Line 2 *angrily at Akuma* "Don't you dare touch him! You are not worthy- He is mine!" (AKUMAHow romantic! I've never liked romantic*she touches his frozen lips* But I'd be willing to give it a tryAKUMA) "Get. Away. From. Him. You disgusting! Little! SPAWN!"
Line 3 "Its lovely...The s-sun I mean" She blushes, "I don't think I've ever seen such a nice day...Not in a long time..."
