Justice Universe Casting Call - Summer 2015
Project Overview
This Project is called "Justice Universe" which is a series of YouTube fan series that come together in a connected DC Universe. As of right now there are 4 different series in production, and with more likely to come in the coming months. Right now we are looking for voice actors who can have regular roles across the different series for iconic DC characters. This will be constantly updated with new characters as the shows go on, so if you're upset that you didn't get a role, don't worry; there's always next time. Good luck!
Also, did we mention that this series will be filmed using Lego? That's right, your favorite DC heroes will to come to life through Lego stop motion animation.

Carter Hall will be an Indiana Jones type. Archaeologist adventurer but as Hawkman he'll be a savage warrior. Carter is intitially a treasure hunter, looking to make a fortune but after regaining the memories of his past lives he ventures back into his original career of archeology using his knowledge of the past as an advantage.
A voice that would suit a likeable rogue type such as Nolan North's Nathan Drake voice will be ideal. I'm also interested in other interpretations too.
I've lived many lives and I tend to remember the important events but never have I seen anything quite like that
My name is Carter Hall, I have almost lived in this incarnation for almost one hundred years. When I die, I don't tend to stay dead. In fact, I reincarnate into a new life where I am reunited with my love, Princess Shayera only to die again. Immortality isn't a gift kid, it's a curse.

Komodo should use a disguised voice and sound imtidating whilst Simon should have a clear voice and sound more passive.
(Komodo) On this island I make the rules, if you obey me then you shall live. If you oppose me then you will die

Ra's Al Ghul's youngest daughter, she's not quite the master assassin yet but she is very formidable. Have her voice sound somewhat serious and calculating with some youthfulness mixed in.
Thousands of warriors have fallen in pursuit of the Demon. Would-be successors have proven to be nothing more than children battling the enormity of creation.

Dinah will often say what others aren't willing to speak up about it, she is very honest with a great sense of morality. During the JSA she was quite rebellious but as a mother, she sees it as her duty to train Dinah in her footsteps.
Her voice would need to work well for both a young adult and middle aged. She needs an element of wit in her voice as well as enthusiasm.
Shiera, no one believes in second chances more than I do. But I have a gut feeling this will end in tears.

Voice needs to sound fitting for a teenager and an adult. Maybe do the middle line as an adult and the first and third as a teenager.
Once a teenaged hero from the Justice Society era who fought crime with his adult sidekick Stripesy. Pemberton has good morals and his desire to do good and help others can often be his downfall.

For as long as I can remember I just wanted to do what was right. I guess I'm not quite sure what that is anymore. And I thought I could just keep doing it until the end but it's just not the same these days.

Newly created role for the Emerald Archer Green Arrow series, she will be one of the main characters.
The character will be somewhat similar to the role of Felicity Smoak in Arrow or Naomi from the comics as she helps out Green Arrow in technical matters and she's also Oliver Queen's closest friend.
Autumn has a very laid back personality but is very caring and loyal to her friends. She's quirky and has a sense of humour with an introverted personality.
Voice should sound fairly unique and fun.
I think it's great that you came to me for help. It's always fairly surprising for your boss to climb in through your window, dying and being all super hero like but I appreciate how you trusted me but why do I have to keep reminding you that I'm a computer genius not a medical doctor?!

Grew up in Smallville and now a a lead journalist for the Daily Star. She has a passion for investigating stories based on vigilantes.

Please do not do voices based on the animated versions, instead base his voice upon the live action versions such as Liam Neeson in Batman Begins or Matt Nable in Arrow.
Liam Neeson's advice for playing the role: "They have to believe in their philosophy. Ra's al Ghul absolutely believed what he was doing was ultimately saving civilization, and it was quite a good argument he comes up with. Throughout the ages this fraternity, that brought the plague to wipe out a section of mankind because it needed to be regenerated again. Very dangerous, but you have to believe it."

Newly created character for Green Arrow. For her voice try to make her sound like Jennifer Hale's Commander Shepard, otherwise go for a voice that can sound intimidating and slightly badass.

She befriended Oliver Queen when he was stranded on the island and helped teach him to survive.
She needs to sound fairly young with a slight Japanese accent. A neutral accent would also be fine.

Enthusiastic and optimistic by nature. She was a hero called Stargirl during her teenage years but since then she's tried to move onto a normal life.
Voice should sound peppy and cheerful but also able to do more dramatic scenes. Fairly regular role so expect to receive quite a few scripts on a regular basis if you're cast.

Look my days of Stargirl are behind me now, I have my reasons. I only suited up to save your life but I'm not going to save you every time you get in over your head.
I kind of like the idea of her using similar mannerisms to Thor. She needs to have a warrior vibe and her threats need to make her sound intimidating. As Diana Prince, she needs to be able to tone down her warrior mannerisms though.
So this is A.R.G.U.S. huh? Well Steve hasn't told me too much about the place which is understandable considering his line of work.

His voice needs to be one that inspires, clear and confident. Try to base it on Tom Welling's voice from Smallville or Captain America.
For the longest time I tried to run from who I am but now I understand my purpose. This planet, Earth, is my home. Director of A.R.G.U.S. and will do anything to ensure his job is done right. Steve has a good moral compass but will sometimes bend the rules if it leads to the best result.
He'll be somewhat similar to Jack Bauer except a lot less aggressive. His voice needs to sound calm but very commanding.

Former gung-ho soldier who often tries to take on more than he can handle, luckily the Star-spangled kid saved him once when the odds were against him and to repay Pemberton, Pat became his sidekick. Pat is often mocked for being an adult sidekick to a teenaged hero but Pat is a very positive and enthusiastic person who always tries to bring out the best in everyone. Hawkgirl of the JSA era. Initially she is a college student at the top of her class in archaeology she then becomes Carter Hall's intern and accompanies him on digs. She is reunited with her Nth metal armour and the memories of her past lives return to her.
I'm your best student, of course you want me to come along with you on the dig. What could go wrong?
