Introduction:
This is a fandub of a very short visual novel by Nemlei that has 51k words, 3 routes and love interests, and 10 endings. It's a story about a world filled with toys that move and talk, and generally focuses on the capital, Toyboxian. Toyboxian's king has gone missing, and the kingdom’s castle has become warped. Marion the Marionette is sent by his village elder to investigate. He becomes a servant at the warped castle, working under the stand-in ruler Jack. This story is full of sarcasm and humor, and I'm sure everyone would enjoy the story.
That is why I want to try and dub this masterpiece of a visual novel and spread it around.

Requirements:
You must...
-Have a high quality mic. Use of phones or headset mics are not allowed.
-Be 13 or older
-Be comfortable with live directing
-Get in lines on time. This is a given, but you never know.
-You are free to do multiple takes of each line (max of 3)
-Have a discord.
The scripts are already written, so it'll just be on you to deliver the lines.

PS: For the character voices, please audition for whoever you'd like. Depending on the amount of people auditioning, there may or may not be double casting, but most likely only one role will be given to each person.
Marion is a very straight-forward, apathetic, and blunt person who tends to put action before thought. He is stoic and lazy, but very respectful to those in higher status than himself. He is 95% of the time the recipient of mockery and otherwise a very reckless person who goes with his own wavelength.
I imagined a voice that is on the mid-high, like a typical protagonist, but portray how you perceive him. He mumbles to himself often and is socially awkward, but is not shy in the least.
He is the protagonist, and this would require you to read his inner thoughts as well. There would be A LOT of lines, so beware.
(inner thoughts)
Was I supposed to use this day to settle in?
I mean I didn't receive any instructions whatsoever.
I'm sure Jack or someone will show me around tomorrow.
I'll just rest until morning.
Marion: (serious) "Sounds reasonable enough."
Marion: "I don't know jack about Jack."
Marion: "But if you say he's like that, I'll believe you."
(inner thoughts)
I have to tell everyone about the king!
Maybe mention how great Jack is too!
....Okay I'll hold off on that one. I can't compliment Jack with a straight face yet.
Jack is very very obnoxious, loud, chaotic, and a gremlin. He is either glaring, teasing, or throwing a tantrum and no in between. He often makes fun of Marion and his lack of brain cells but enjoys when Marion doesn't kiss ass to the higher ups (aka himself.) Despite his ability to carry himself at times, he is also very childish, and would throw a tantrum the moment something goes against his ideals.
I imagined his voice to be in the mid-high range, and you have to be willing to yell a lot. Out of all the lines given, to be cast, the laugh has to be really good. Go all out on the laugh.
Jack: "And what exactly is so good about it?"
Marion says something about the evening having nothing good.
Jack: "Nothing."
Jack: "The evening is just like you."
Jack: (unamused) "Nothing good about it."
Jack: (obnoxious) "HaAhHaHAHAAaHAhaHHa!!"
Jack: "Well no matter. It's alright you're a halfwit."
Jack: "At least you're easy on the eyes."
Marion says thank you with a blank face.
Jack: (imitating Marion, obnoxious) "YoU'Re wELc0mE."
Jack: "NicE tO mEet YoU."
Jack: "ThE pLeAsUrE iS aLL mInE."
Jack: (back to normal, but annoyed) "Is this the face you make when conversing?"
Sylvester is a calm and composed person who thinks before every move. He is very formal and polite with his language and is very skilled with words and observing others. He loves speaking of deep topics.
What I have in mind for Sylvester is very flexible. I can see him with a higher pitch, and a lower pitch at the same time, as long as your delivery is very poise and proper, then I'd consider you for the role.
Sylvester: (neutral) "The King isn't having a speech today."
Sylvester: "Or tomorrow."
Sylvester: "Or anytime soon."
Sylvester: (slightly sad) "Or... Ever. It seems."
Sylvester: "Do you hear that?"
Sylvester: (sentimental) "It is almost like... Lamentation."
Sylvester: "What a sad tune..."
Sylvester: "I'm a music box."
Sylvester: "Are you surprised?"
Marion mentions having only seen female music boxes.
Sylvester: (pleasant) "Ah. Yes, I was a part of a set originally."
Sylvester: "My partner was a beautiful young maiden."
Sylvester: "Everyday we'd dance together to the most wonderful tunes."
Sylvester: (sad) "Until one day.... She..."
Sylvester: "..."
Sylvester: (annoyed, fast switch) "Until she got into beatboxing!"
Annette is a cheerful, positive girl. She's a very organized and polite woman who is the only good cook in the castle that deserves a break.
I have a very flexible voice range for her, however it's preferred if she has a friendly/warm voice.
Annette: "We're out of spices again."
Annette: "While I was sorting the spices, Galiathos tripped and landed on the table."
Annette: "It was like poof! The most earthy colored cloud you've ever seen."
Annette: "...And the most costly."
Marion had slacked off and left Annette alone, just returning.
Annette: "There you are!!"
Marion makes excuses.
Annette: "Lies!"
Annette: "I am so angry at you I can't put it into words!"
Annette: "So I am simply going to scream!"
Annette: "Are you ready?"
Annette: (Scream!)
Galiathos is a very shy and socially awkward guard who has a soft spot for Bunnie. He stumbles on his words often and surprisingly passionate and dedicated to his job. He wonders what Marion's real name is to this day.
The range I had in mind for him is very flexible, low-high, as long as you act shy.
Galiathos: "Hello M-Moron!"
Galiathos: (horrified) "OH!! OH NO!! No-no no no!!!"
Galiathos: "I am so-s-sSO sorry!"
Galiathos: "I meant Morgan!!"
His name was Marion.
Galiathos: (enthusiastic) "These... plants! I just trimmed them yesterday."
Galiathos: "But alas! They are a hydra!"
Galiathos: "Cut one down, two emerge!"
The wizard is a glutton of an old man who makes jokes quite often, yet is a kind and wise old man inside.
I was imagining a typical old man voice, but very warm.
Master: (kind-hearted manner) "Don't be scared Marion."
Master: "You got this."
Master: "You'll be just fine as long as you're just fine."
Master: "We're all counting on you."
Master: (whiney) "Sheesh! I thought you'd be in the kitchen."
Master: "That spicy little lady there gave me an earful!" (Annette)
Master: "And the worst of all!!"
Master: "When I asked for tea she didn't put in any milk!"
This chess king is the rumored disappeared king. He is very depressed and wants to sleep his misery away, and if not, he wants to destroy all of toyboxian because he thinks everyone should die because the world sucks. (What a mood right?)
I imagined a mid-low voice with a slight gravel, but he's a tired depressed old man. Do what you see fit.
King: (tired, just woke up) "Jack."
King: (starting to get angry) "What is the meaning of this?"
King: (raging) "Put me back to sleep at once!!"
King: (raging) "I wAnT tO wiPE oUt ThIs cUrSeD wOrLd!"
King: "There is nothing worth saving!"
King: "And everything worth destroying!"
King: (raging) "Only a complete obliteration can bring forth a new dawn!!"
An energetic, impulsive girl who is Sylvester's twin sister. She tends to jump into situations without thinking and finds Sylvester to be a stuck up pretentious brat. (The feeling is mutual with Sylvester)
The voice I had in mind for her is a mid-high range, and make sure to have a lot of energy.
Sylvia: (cheerful) "Excuse me sir!"
calls Marion over
Sylvia: (hyper) "You look like a brave young man who knows left from right!"
He doesn't.
Sylvia: "You should join-" (cut off)
Marion refuses
Sylvia: (unamused) "Dude! At least let me finish!"
Sylvia: "But you said you knew someone who'd want to help us with our cause!"
Sylvia: (loud) "I know HE ain't gonna do that!"
*points to Sylvester*
Sylvia: (shouting) "Sylvester is too worried about his standing and his honor and his status and his EVERYTHING to do ANYTHING!"
A bubbly, feisty puzzle witch. She was the one who made the trinket that puts people to sleep.
I imagine a voice for her would be of a mid-high tone that's very poppy. Similar to Sylvia's voice, but more child-like.
Jack states that he doesn't know the Witch well.
Witch: (bubbly) And here I thought we were friends!"
Witch: (low-key angry) "I heard you've been asking for me Jack."
Witch: "I'm a very busy woman. What did you need?"
Jack states that time heals all wounds.
Witch: (annoyed) "The crap it does!"
Marion insults her.
Witch: (smug) "Keep talking like that and I won't give you a dream caster at all!"
A playful townsperson who has a while imagination.
A mid-high voice, with a tone of light-heartedness.
Hand Puppet: "Why is Jack still playing the king?"
Hand Puppet: (passionate) "I don't even care the king is missing anymore! I just want someone proper in charge!"
Hand Puppet: (excited) "The king was actually abducted by aliens!"
Hand Puppet: "And they're covering it up because they don't want us to know aliens exist!"
A gruff, intimidating bear who has a smoke in his mouth in every single sprite. Is friends with Giral, the hand puppet.
The voice I imagined for him is a gravely mid-low kind of voice.
Teddy Bear: "I'm embarrassed of what the other countries must think of us."
Teddy Bear: (frustrated) "Our king is a bloody clown!"
Mocking Marion.
Teddy Bear: "Yeah yeah yeah. Whatever blondie."
