Plot: Hypnosis takes place in the year 3045, where it’s known to be a perfect society. Nothing is wrong in the eyes of civilians and everyone is content. Callista thinks the same before stumbling upon a website not meant for her eyes. Knowing the government may now be after her, a rebel group called Eclipse, kidnaps her and tells her the safest option is to join them. What will happen to the innocent girl after saying no to their offer?

Callista is the main protagonist throughout this series. But, for reasons I’d like to keep a secret, for now, she changes into different people with different personalities. Her first personality, Callista, is very sweet, fearful, and a bit introverted. She’s a bit too curious at times. Her second main personality, Blythe, is basically the exact opposite. She is very cold-hearted and strong-willed, afraid of nothing. She trusts no one and hates the government. Her third and final one is Dervilia a monstrous and bloodthirsty creation, suffering from strength a mere human cannot handle.

-afraid- Juno, I came across something I shouldn’t have. You’re not going to believe me, but it scares me. This place is nowhere near as safe as we’re told. Something is seriously up.

Astra is one of the leaders of Eclipse, the rebel group. She is a ruthless woman who has no problem crushing anyone in her way. She’s is the definition of badass female character. She’s in love with her co-leader, Indigo, and has been for years. She’s extremely good at hiding her romantic feelings and is as cold to him as she is to everyone else. She hates Callista almost as much as she hates the caste system and government.
-annoyed- Fine. If that’s what you want, I guess I’m forced to make the correct decision for you.
-angry, blunt- I don’t like you. I hope you know that. Don’t think you’re top shit just because Indigo deals with you. You’re still below me, Runt.
-upset, betrayed- How could you say that to me?! All I’ve ever done is helped you through everything! Stop acting like you don’t care!

Promise is a very loyal and kind-hearted person even as she goes through her rebellious teen years. She always thinks of others first which leads to her constantly getting stepped all over and hurt by people. She is taken advantage of a lot of the time and acts quite rude to the people she doesn’t care much for. She acts this way because she doesn’t want anyone else coming into her life just to hurt her. She’s dating Jago, who she’s with in secret due to the rules of the caste system. Still, she risks her life to be with who she loves for the sake of her happiness.
-unsure, hesitant- Of course, I want to be with you I’m just-I’m scared. We sneak out twice a week to see each other in some abandoned building because if we’re even caught looking at one another, we get shot. Is that really how you want to live?
-angry- Maybe I will be happier with him! He actually listens to what I want instead of doing things for the better. I don’t care if it’s for the better. I want to be selfish for once…
-nonchalantly- Naaah it’s totally fine! I’m like...her second favorite child.

She abandoned all of her friends and refuses to make new ones. She maintains a gentle nature in front of her daughter’s friends and everyone seems to love her. But, just like her middle child, she is taken advantage of often.

-upset- Promise, I can’t protect you. I’m scared, too. I’m trying so hard to stay strong. I’m supposed to be the adult yet I’m the one acting like a child.

He’s never liked anyone relationship-wise because he believes love is stupid and simply a distraction. He’s a strong-headed loner who just wants to get the job done.
