Howl’s Moving Castle Cosplay Competition Voice-over
Project Overview
Hi! I’m planning to compete in a cosplay competition as Sophie Hatter from Howl’s Moving Castle at the end of October! For this I need 2-3 lines that will play at the beginning and end of the performance.
The performance will begin with Sophie muttering about how Howl accused her of being a witch, before she is pulled out of sweeping the floor into a pair dance with Howl, and after he goes offstage as the dance ends, she accidentally performs an act of magic and then frustratedly shouts at Howl in the other room about how she is definitely not a witch!
The lines provided for the audition are similar in emotion and sentiment to the final ones but not exactly the same.
Voice actor will be credited in any online posts I make about the performance where the voice is audible.
I look forward to hearing your audition!
Voice Actor
Sophie Hatter is a working class young woman with a British accent. These lines take place in the context of her being a bit frustrated, but in her young form she regains at the end of the movie. She is worked up after Howl told her he thinks she might be a witch!

Ridiculous! Who does he think he is?
*exhausted sigh* Me? A witch? He must have lost his mind!
I told you I’m not doing it, Howl! (Shouting like Howl is in another room)
