HOME'S A STORY NEVER TOLD: CASTING CALL!
Home's A Story Never Told (HASNT) is an original object show built around storytelling, character development, comedy, mystery, and deeper themes surrounding identity, autonomy, and the world the characters inhabit.
We are a passionate and dedicated creative team working together to bring this project to life through animation, voice acting, writing, and collaborative storytelling. We're looking for enthusiastic voice actors and creatives who are excited to become part of our world and help make this project something special!
✦ REQUIREMENTS
Please read before auditioning!
You must be 13 years of age or older to participate.
You must have a Discord account, as it will be our primary platform for communication, updates, and team coordination.
You must be willing to communicate and collaborate with the rest of the team.
You should be able to submit your voice lines within a reasonable timeframe when assigned. Quick responses and consistent participation are important for keeping production moving!
You may potentially be asked to use Google Classroom for submitting auditions, voice lines, scripts, or other project-related materials.
Please be respectful, responsible, and open to feedback.

Our goal is to create a project that combines the fun and creativity of object shows with meaningful storytelling, interesting character dynamics, and memorable moments.

Pronouns: He/Him
Character Description: A charismatic, cunning, egotistical, and humorous developer who loves being in control. Dev is bold and careless, often treating serious situations like an entertaining game.
Voice Description: Very confident, playful, and expressive. Dev talks as though he is the most important person in the room. His delivery can be energetic and theatrical, but he should also be capable of sounding unsettling without losing his casual charm.

Character Description: An overwhelmed and stressed shard who struggles with acceptance and emotional regulation. Fuzzel can be unhinged at times, with their emotions and reactions varying significantly.
Voice Description: Short, direct, and definitive. Fuzzel often speaks as though every statement is the only thing they need to say. Avoid adding unnecessary context or overly elaborate explanations. Their delivery can sound tense, exhausted, or emotionally unstable depending on the scene.

Character Description: A whimsical, innocent, and empathetic shard who is often clueless about the problems around her. Wandy is carefree and enthusiastic, though she can occasionally recognize serious issues without knowing how to communicate them.
Voice Description: Bright, kind, and unaware. Wandy should sound genuinely excited and innocent, with a natural sense of wonder. Her delivery can be playful and expressive, but she should be capable of briefly becoming focused when something truly concerns her.

Character Description: A cheerful, optimistic, and committed individual who tries to support the people around him. Basil is sweet-natured and willing to help, even when situations become stressful.
Voice Description: Warm, friendly, and energetic. Basil should sound approachable and genuinely happy to be useful. His concern should become apparent when something goes wrong, without completely losing his kindness.

Character Description: A behind-the-scenes organizer who likes things to be done correctly. Glasses can be a perfectionist and micro-manager, but he still tries to be considerate and kind.
Voice Description: Precise, mildly anxious, and restrained. Glasses should sound like someone who notices every little mistake but doesn't always want to make a big deal about it. His frustration can slip through when things become disorganized.

Character Description: A jolly, energetic, and physically expressive person who enjoys being involved in games and connecting with others. He can sometimes cross boundaries without realizing it.
Voice Description: Cheerful, enthusiastic, and highly expressive. Whipped Cream should sound physically energetic, as though he is always ready to participate. When he realizes he's made someone uncomfortable, his tone should shift into genuine confusion or apology.

Voice Description: Composed, confident, and slightly condescending when appropriate. Ring should sound accustomed to having their opinions valued. Their delivery should remain controlled rather than becoming openly aggressive. They should also be really silly with it too.

Voice Description: Articulate, analytical, and self-assured. Flask should speak as though they are constantly working through a theory. Their confidence can briefly falter when challenged, followed by an attempt to defend or reframe their statement.

Voice Description: Soft, distant, and poetic. Moonberry should sound like someone whose thoughts are often somewhere else. Their delivery can be peaceful and imaginative, with moments of uncertainty or detachment.

Voice Description: Dramatic, expressive, and fashion-conscious. Photocard should sound like someone who is constantly judging appearances and presenting himself. His competitive side should be loud and determined, especially when winning is involved.

Voice Description: Soft, hesitant, and agreeable. Mochi should sound slightly unsure of himself, especially in unfamiliar situations. His sillier side can emerge when he feels comfortable.

Character Description: One half of the Muffs duo. Pink Muff is the more creative, colorful, and somewhat clueless member of the pair.
Voice Description: Bright, expressive, and playful. Pink Muff should sound imaginative and easily distracted, with a sense of excitement about her surroundings.
Muffs 2 (Pink)
Pronouns: He/Him
Character Description: The second half of the Muffs duo. He shares similar morals with Pink Muff but has a different personality and approach, such as being more sarcastic, and more defensive.
Voice Description: Open to actor interpretation for now. His voice should contrast with Pink Muff enough to make the two characters distinguishable.

Voice Description: Controlled, mature, and slightly critical. Iced Matcha should sound like someone who notices problems quickly and expresses their opinions plainly. Their concern may sometimes come across as blunt.
