Project Overview

Game Information:

Lately, people have started disappearing...

But no body is ever found, just their belongings and evidence of what could have occurred. Their loved ones, mad with grief, swear they’re still alive and walking alongside them. But they stand alone.

Help Carina and Fizz discover the secrets of Heartwood while also recovering Fizz's fragmented memories. But remember, some secrets are better left hidden...

  • Main Themes: Love (familial, romantic, and self), Grief, Friendship, Perseverance, and Self-Discovery

  • There will be no NSFW content in this game. Strong language will be limited

    • Age Rating (due to heavy topics discussed, though not shown): 16+

    • This is not a horror game, but there will be some violence discussed and blood shown (no extreme gore)

!!IMPORTANT NOTES!!

  • All other roles were cast internally, but we will be in need of NPCs later. If interested in a potential NPC role or staying updated with the progress, please leave a note on your audition!

  • Ki will show earlier in the project than the other 2 roles, as he is an important side character. Because of this, their designs are still in progress. However, if you would like to see the direction we plan to go for them, check here.

  • Casting Nearly Complete!

    Hi, all! Apologies for the delay, but we're still finalizing the casting.

    As an update: Our voice actors have been selected for the 3 characters listed, but I am making a roster to use in the future when the main game production begins!

    Artists/Composers: I'm having my team review your portfolios more in depth to narrow down choices. If we believe you may fit the project design, I'll contact you in the next day or two to cover a few questions (mainly checking your comfort with certain styles, etc.)

    Wow! I'm just a few weeks, we got so many amazing auditions and applications in! Thank you all sooo much! I've been reviewing each audition as they come in, and you all are not making this easy on me 😅

    Because so many of you hit exactly what we were looking for, I've asked some of my team to help with a small callback and review session. I'll be reaching out to those getting callbacks to either set a time to live read with direction (were super nice I promise!), or submit the read if you are unavailable.
