GINKA & GLÜNA Manga Dub!
Project Overview
A wannabe magician meets a magical snowman that changes her life!
Hi! My name is Crowfather and welcome to my casting call for my manga dub of the relatively new series "GINKA & GLÜNA"! Ever since this manga came out, I've been in love with it, and the dynamic between the characters made me really want to make a dub of it! As it stands, no-one else as done this, so I'd like to take on this challenge myself!
REQUIREMENTS FOR AUDITIONS
USB microphones are accepted, but XLR will take priority. So long as you're able to utilize it to its highest ability in terms of sound, then I'm not too picky.
Clean up your audio. Whatever Noise Suppression/EQ, etc. you normally do. However, don't do it to the point of it ruining the vocal audio.
3-5 takes is the golden range. If you do less, I have less to consider when casting, which makes it infinitely more difficult for you to be casted.
Try to make sure your audio levels are between -24 and -12. This is optimal for most listening devices.
You may audition for as many roles as you'd like, but be prepared for the workload. Also, there is no limit to how many characters one actor can play, BUT, those who HAVEN'T been casted will have priority OVER you. So, keep that in mind.
You do not have to have any prior knowledge of the series. In fact, I think going in blind will be more fun than you!
Have fun! It would behoove you to try and enjoy yourself. You'll get better, genuine expressions and emotions, as well as it being more comfortable for you! At the end of the day, this is a project meant for fun, and to give more practice/experience to every single one of us who wants it!
NEED-TO-KNOW
Those who get casted will be expected to voice their characters in the chapters following this chapter (obviously). So if you're a "one and done" type person, please don't waste my time. Personal life takes priority, so I will understand if you step down for your own sake. I'm not insensitive. But please don't audition with the intent to drop out, is what I'm getting at.
Discord will be the main way of contact. Alternatives will be discussed if you don't have Discord.
In order to maintain a flow, I will have deadlines for lines. Do not miss these deadlines. Or if you do, I should know in advance. We can always discuss and plan for extra time. Just don't let me get blindsided, please.
If I don't receive any sort of response from you after a certain amount of time, I can and WILL re-cast. I would like this project to continue development, and too many people think they can abuse the generosity of others.
On that note, I also have a life. My life is very, very busy, as I am in the military. Expect there to be times where I physically cannot deliver when I need to, because the military is a very sporadic place, where I can be pulled aside for anything, and have my time sapped away.

Deadline Extension!
Hi everyone, Crow here! I've loved listening to all of your auditions thus far! I've got a handful of people I'm considering for each role, but I'd like to get more of a variety, so I'm extending the deadline another week (December 7th)!
Also, if you've sent me a message to get feedback or context to your audition, then I want you to know that I see them, but I can't promise I'll get to everyone. As much as I'd love to help everyone, this IS a casting call, not a class. Maybe following the casting process I can explain as to why you weren't chosen.
But as of now? Bear with me.
