Project Overview
Hello to all! It's time for my most recent project! This will be a Genshin Impact comic dubbing. Please look at the available characters and give it your all. I will be selecting them at the same time so be sure you get your auditions in time. At the same time, if you get selected, please save your outtakes. I plan on using them for the Youtube video and then uploading them accordingly. So, give it your all and I have the available voice lines in order to help you.

In Genshin Impact, Zhongli has a serious tone to his voice with commanding authority. In this comic dub, he is the boss of the company and after hearing this joke, goes out of his way to make someone fall for it. I will link his voice files for you to hear so best of luck to you reader!
(Zhongli is excited and, in a rush, to share the news of the "updog joke" to his co-worker)
"Now if you will excuse me, I have to spread this wonderful joke to the others."(Zhongli is being serious to have found his co-workers talking on the job)
"What are you guys chatting about in the middle of work?"
(Zhongli has a serious tone in order to trick Lumine into falling for his joke, Lumine [Lu-mean)
"...Well, Miss Lumine...I'm quite disappointed. Why is there no updog in this report?"

The 77th director if the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. She took over the business at a rather young age.
In Genshin Impact, Hu Tao is known for her dark humor and how she playfully laughs it off afterward like no big deal. Have a playful and high pitch mannerism to her voice. In the comic dub, she is the one who initiates the conversation as a co-worker for Zhongli. Here are her voice lines to better help you.
(Hu Tao tries to break the ice with you with a dark joke regarding her name)
"Hu as in 'Who put me in this coffin?' and Tao as in 'I can't geT OUt' Hehe...No, not funny?"(Hu Tao begins to explain her joke to Zhongli in an excited and playful manner)
"Actually sir, I think you will be very interested in what we were talking about!"
(Hu Tao notices lightning and being afraid she advises you to run. Adding fear to her voice would be highly advised)
"Lightning! Let's bolt!"

A young man carrying a longsword who is frequently seen at book booths. He has a chivalrous heart and yearns for justice and fairness for all.
During the events of the game, Xingqiu is an avid bookworm talking in a refine light tone. His tone can be tone by both a light speaking male or even a female so feel free to hear the voice lines. In the comic, he is a hard worker who panics easily when Zhongli comes and interrupts them. I highly advise to hear the voice lines to get a good feel for his voice.
(Xingqiu is astounded and becomes disappointed midway through when his book leaves him on a cliffhanger)
"Oh my goodness...Oh my gosh...Wow-Huh? 'All will be revealed in the next volume'? Aw, drat..."
(Xingqiu is in a panic as he tries to reassure Zhongli he'll get back to work)
"We'll get back on it, sir!"
(Xingqiu is in disarray as he screams while Zhongli looks at the both of them seriously before getting cut off)
"Aaaaaaahhhhh! I'm so sorry-"

"A young exorcist from a family of exorcists. He does everything he can to supress his abundance of yang energy."
In the game, Chongyun is a young exorcist with a calm tone to his own voice. Be sure to have focus upon his voice with the voice lines. In the comic, Chongyun is the newest intern who is both tired after oversleeping and cracks easily under the pressure of Zhongli.
(Chongyun is practicing his lines but gets frustrated mid-way through after forgetting his line)
"Heart be pure, evil be erased. Mind be purged, world be...' Umm...Ugh, I always forget that last part."
(Chongyun is tired after oversleeping)
"Ugh...so sleepy...Why did I have to oversleep today?"
(Chongyun is a bit digusted at himself for stinking while still being half-asleep)
"I even had to skip showering this morning. So uncomfy."

"The Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing. Keqing has much to say about Rex Lalpi'd unilateral approach to policymaking in Liyue-but in truth, gods admire skeptics such as her quite a lot."
In Genshin Impact, Keqing is a serious woman with a soft side to her when the time comes to those around and personally one of my favorite characters in this game. In the comic, she has a minor role in the comic but best to do your best by using her voice lines.
(Keqing has finally attained her dreams and wonders whether the Traveler will still be there for her)
"I feel I have grown immensely from my travels with you. If, one day, I finally manage to make my dreams a reality... I wonder, will you still be there by my side?"
(Keqing attempts to get the Traveler to stop being lazy almost like a mom trying to get their child to do their homework)
"Come on. Enough procrastinating. Let's go."
(Keqing is confused at the question and tries to return back to her work)
"Updog? Sorry, I don't have time for this at the moment."

"The secretary at Yuehai Pavilion. The blood of the qilin, an illuminated beast flows within her veins."
Ganyu is the soft-spoken secretary within Genshin Impact. She takes her work very seriously to almost workaholic levels. Be sure to keep that tone for her. In the comic, she plays a minor role once but is well needed within it. Use the voice lines to guide you.
(Ganyu has a fast change in emotion from greeting in the morning, to confused, to even embarrassed to the point where she stopped herself from saying "horns")
"Morning! What's wrong, is there something stuck in my hair? ...Oh. Please don't stare at my h—hairpiece."
(Ganyu is relaxed and happy)
"If you lie on the grass, you can feel the heartbeat of the world."
(Ganyu is both embarrassed and confused at the joke)
"Updog? D-Did you mean hot dogs, sir? I'm totally not eating one right now...!!"

A yaksha who defends Liyue. Also heralded as the "Conqueror of Demons" and "Vigilant Yaksha."
Xiao is someone who fights those in Liyue using his ancient powers within the game. His voice is very edgy but still has a light tone within it. In the comic, he plays a minor well but is all the while appreciated. Use these audio files to help you.
(Xiao is disappointed by your inactivity)
"Reduced to just standing around. How absurd."
(Xiao is basically awaking to a terrible nightmare so have the fear and panting as if you just woke up in the middle of the night to a nightmare.)
"Grrgh... Those memories... So dark."
(Xiao is confused at the question and apologizes politely)
"Updog?...I haven't heard it before, sorry."

"A traveler from another world who had their only kin taken away, forcing them to embark on a journey to find The Seven."
Lumine here is the secondary character here in the comic while being annoyed with Zhongli by the end. In the game, they are mostly mute, but they have voice lines to where we understand what her voice is. In this instance, this is the female protagonist, and she has a bit of a high voice. Use the voice lines to your own benefit.
(Lumine is exhausted after a long day)
"Well, whatever (yawn) I'm tired. Let's just sit here for a bit..."
(Lumine is being sarcastic with a happy tone in her voice as well)
"We'd just go to jail and suffer punishment together..."
(Lumine is annoyed and quite done with everything after falling for the "updog joke")
"I can't wait to quit this blasted job..."
