Hello, and thank you so much for taking the time to take a look at my casting call! My name is Brian Franco, a voice actor, writer, and director looking to tell original stories, as well as concocting fan-made stories for existing franchises while keeping their characters faithful to the source material. This is a casting call for a Genshin fan comic dub, exploring a possible interaction Eula and Rosaria of Mondstat might have in canon. The setting for the comic is the Angel’s Share tavern in Mondstat, and the audition lines are from the fan comic dub's final script. I am looking for voice actors to voice for the characters below! Here is an example of my previous work as reference of how my work is organized and presented:
Xiao Scared of the Dark [Genshin Comic]
Ideally, I am looking for auditions with good sound quality; if your USB mic audio quality can keep up with XLR equipment, I’d be more than happy to accept you in as well! Here are the submission instructions:
1. Please do no more than 3 takes per line.
2. Send your audio with minimal sound editing so I can get a feel of your default raw recording sound quality.
3. For any lines that that have words that are italicized or italicized and bolded, take a moment to emphasize emotion on said words.

The due date for the auditions will be Sunday, July 31, 2021 @ 11:59 PM EST! The final product will be uploaded to my YouTube channel; in addition, this casting call is open in other areas outside of Casting Call Club, so there is a chance roles may be cast off-site.

Character Profile: The Captain of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company and the renowned Spindrift Knight, Eula spends most of her time out in the wild, and has won much acclaim leading her team of scouts on patrol.She has led proactive attacks to destroy Abyss Order strongholds time and again, nipping their nefarious plots in the bud.
Personality: Despite acting like a proper noble of the Lawrence Clan of Mondstat, she is actually a kind-hearted person, and has been proven to be a reliable ally and friend. She dislikes people that paint her in the same light as the more snotty members of the Lawrence clan, having a habit of declaring and getting "vengeance" against her enemies to redeem her family name.
1. [Eula enters the Angel’s Share, a tavern in Mondstat, for a nice drink following a day of keeping tabs on the activity of the Abyss Order. Diluc greets her in and asks if it’s been a busy patrol. Eula, with a hint of exhaustion, mentions her response.]:
"(sighs) Not this time. The Abyss Order has been rather quiet recently."
2. [Wallowing in negative thoughts as she realized the tavern conversations have been directed towards her being there, she is completely startled at the fact that Rosaria is sitting at the table that she was planning to sit at. Startled a bit at the beginning, she tries to apologize and attempt to move tables]
“(startled) Gods, forgive me, Rosaria! I was lost in thought. Don’t worry I’ll-”
3. [After making herself comfortable at the table Rosaria is at, and downing a few rounds of liquor while mingling with her, Eula empathizes with Rosaria’s story, and tells Rosaria in an understanding and sympathetic manner how despite being who Rosaria is, she has her own means of paying her respects to Barbatos]
“(breathing out) I see… so that’s how your past molded you into the Sister Rosaria beside me. [pause] Despite being a sister, you show reverence to Barbatos more as the guardian of his followers… a warrior saint if you will.”
Character Profile: A sister in Mondstat’s Church of Favonius, she is a sister whose job is to do work that normally cannot see the light of day; espionage, investigation, interrogation, and, in some cases, assisination. A lone wolf for most of her duties, she practically feels like a sister in name only compared to her peers, though, as a purveyor of justice for the Church, she more than does her fair share of honoring Barbatos on the daily.
Personality: Rosaria is a somewhat intimidating woman who has a rather unorthodox idea of piety. Despite her position in the church, Rosaria is the least devout; she is always guaranteed to skip all church activities when possible and the first one to leave if she is forced to attend. She has a very keen intuition as well, which allows her to get the hint that some people are more than what meets the eye.
1. [Eula spits her drink in surprise right in Rosaria’s face, startling her out of her mental prison of negative thoughts she was in while walking over to the table. Rosaria, amused at this break of character of the stoic Spindrift Knight, asks Eula in her own way what’s wrong]
“(curious scoff) What’s gotten into you? I never put you to be the type to be so jittery…”
2. [Eula tries to apologize to Rosaria for spitting her drink all over her face, and tries to excuse herself from the situation. Rosaria, acting outwardly indifferent, but acting inwardly as caring individual and to provide Eula company, tells her in her own way that she’s fine with Eula sitting with her]
“Look, don’t sweat it. I don’t mind you sitting with me. Up to you if you want to.”
3. [As Eula sits down with Rosaria, the taverns’ patrons can’t help but start gossiping about the two being together at a table at the tavern. Rosaria, not in the mood for this right now considering how she saw Eula approach the table, projects her voice in an ice cold and deadly serious tone to the patrons of the tavern to shut up, lest they want to bring up their choice words with her and deal with her wrath]
“(ice cold tone, deadly serious) If you value your eyes and voice, you'll keep to yourselves. Unless of course, one of you has the guts to confess to me how you really feel…”
Character Profile: Current owner of the Dawn Winery and a nobleman of high esteem in Mondstadt society. While a past incident caused him to split ways with the Knights of Favonius, he continues to protect Mondstadt in his own way.
Personality: Diluc was once an ideal young man, dedicated to his work with Knights of Favonius. However, after his father's untimely demise, along with a member of the Knights ordering Diluc to cover up the incident, his faith in the organization shattered and he left, and to this day, he still holds a deep resentment against them. Despite coming off as bitter and grumpy through his speech, he has a gentle, tender, and modest nature.
1. [Diluc is manning the bar of the Angel’s Share on this particular night when Eula enters. He greets her into the Angel’s Share as she approaches the bar]
“Hm? Oh, it’s been a while Eula… Busy night?”
2. [Diluc, hearing Eula slightly exhausted from her expedition on keeping tabs on the Abyss Order, gives his style of a sympathetic response, then asks if she would like her usual]
“I see… Well, will it be the usual?”
3. [Finishing his prep of Eula’s drink, he serves her the usual, then let’s her know she is free to order more responsibly]
“Here you go. The tab has been made, so feel free to order more… within reason.”
Audition Instructions: These are the extra voices in the tavern to act as background noise throughout the comic dub to establish the atmosphere Eula and Rosaria will be in while they interact with each other, and for the briefest moments the other patrons in the audience. The audition lines will be a sampling of the total lines, and for the auditions themselves, I will be using walla lines that can be performed universally by all voice actors.

{Universal} “(Scoffs) So much for enjoying a night out on the town”
2. [Reaction upon seeing Eula enter the tavern]
{Universal} “What’s the little Lawrence doing with one of the nuns from the Church?”
3. [Reaction upon seeing Eula enter the tavern]
{Universal} “Hold up… you don’t think…”
