The very first season of Gacharonpa: Killers Core!

Kenji Yogon is a 19 year old college student with one goal in mind: to become the Ultimate Actor! Once he gets accepted into Labyrinth Academy-- things take a turn for the worst. Join Kenji and his journey of fear to leadership... and learning to trust those around him.

Killers Core is a gacharonpa series that started 6 years ago. One day, I looked back at all of the old Killers Core episodes and unlisted them off the platform due to me hating the writing and editing of the series. This video and the others related is a stepping stone for me, something I can look back on and smile, knowing how well I’ve improved editing wise and writing wise. I made the first two seasons of Killers Core alone, but I made Escape Killers Core and Killers Core: Aftermath Hell, with a dear friend of mine, who I’ve unfortunately lost contact with over the years. This time, I am revamping the Killers Core series, the series that once gave my channel spotlight, the coherent story it deserves, now with a new, talented friend who is able to do the things I cannot, Your_Average, or Average, for short. (The gal next to me in the disclaimers!).

    Note, more characters have more development than others so far in these earlier episodes but I think they're deserving to watch to really get a feel on the vibe and language used throughout this show.

  • What to expect:

    This gacha series was made back in the year of 2019... phew! Quite a long time! I started Season One and Two completely alone and by the Third Season, I got one of my closest friends to help me out! S3 gave me "popularity" and I slowly let it die as the years go on. What can I say though? Creating ronpas is my fixation and I knew I'd come back to the first series that gave me this gift.

    Everything is pretty much planned out. I write scripts in chunks, so by the time one episode has been made, another script would've already been created. I will do my best to get lines out to VAs as soon as possible. This means that the trial lines could easily be done before the investigation episode is even uploaded! What I plan not to do is have everything done before I give out lines. This way, VAs have plenty of time to submit.

    I didn't specify much about character voice tones and that was on purpose! I don't want people to be held back! Just a reminder that these are college students! Many are 18-19 years old with the exception of Lina, who's 20.

A young and bright future actor! He’s a little bit awkward at first, mostly accidentally saying the wrong things, but he gets along with people quickly. He’s helpful to anyone, even if they don’t deserve it. He tends to get dragged around a lot as a result.

Lina Ouma's voice is the most picky I'll be with. If you're a man who can do both a female and male voice, that would be perfect for this role. Her voice sounds damaged and annoying.

Lina is the embodiment of chaos! No one can truly predict her moves, and she seems to have little care for the people around her, including herself. But she has plenty of tricks up her sleeve, and is willing to get her way.. anyway she can.

Unlike the most of the cast whose race is ambiguous/no official race, Farah is confirmed to be Yemen and may or may not speak Arabic? Haven't decided yet, so please disclaim if you can or cannot speak the language.

She’s very calm, very intelligent, and soft. She doesn’t particularly make enemies and tries to help out others when she can. She can’t see very well, almost on the verge of blindness, but that doesn’t stop her from being her. She's one of the few who has an ambiguous Ultimate. What does it truly mean to be the Ultimate Faith? Is it based off her religion or something else entirely? How will she keep up with the pressure?

  • I travel to a lot of countries, mostly spreading my word while helping the communities. Some get skeptical of my faith, but that’s alright with me. My main goal really is to help out struggling communities in their time of need. There are a… lot of wars. Much more recently. Not many are covered by the news, so they don’t get much help. I strive to give them faith back in the world and try to get them on their feet.

  • Don’t be, Kenji. Nobody is inferior to anybody. We are all equal to Allah. Anyone can do good if they desire it.
