Future Episodes Casting (World Of Warcraft Classic Cold Quests)
Project Overview
UNPAID / VOLUNTEER PASSION PROJECT. Every voice actor is credited.
Classic Cold Quests is a small YouTube channel making a World of Warcraft lore and mystery series. Each episode digs into a forgotten quest from Classic WoW, and the characters you meet along the way need voices.
We're just starting to build a following, and we're trying our best not to use AI voices. We'd much rather give these characters to real people who love doing voices, so any help means a lot.
Where we are so far: - Episode 1 has over 8,800 views and 400+ likes since September 26: https://youtu.be/dFPoLGld5w8
- Episode 2 passed 2,200 views in its first week: https://youtu.be/WDqX9dfoxSw?si=whaUmS39Q-Zhy6p6
- Clips from the series have reached over 30K views on Instagram
What this casting is for: We're building a roster of voices for future episodes, covering the races of Azeroth.
Characters include quest givers, villains, guards, scholars, soldiers and the occasional dragon. When an episode needs your type of voice, we'll message you with the role and lines. Most roles are short, about 1 to 10 lines per episode, and you can record on your own time.
What we need from you:
- Clean audio with minimal background noise (WAV preferred)
- Expressive character acting
- Final lines delivered dry (no music or effects), 2 to 3 takes per line
What you get: - This is unpaid. There is no payment for these roles.
- Credit by name or alias in the video and the YouTube description, with a link to your website, channel or socials
- Your work in a published series that's growing
Feel free to audition for as many roles as you like, including both male and female versions of a race if you have the range.
Classic Cold Quests is a fan-made series and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
