Who are you?Hello! My name is Rexiipher, or Rex for short. I'm a Minecraft Roleplay content creator on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@rexiipher) and a live streamer on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/rexiipher). I consistently upload and stream, and I really enjoy producing Minecraft Roleplay content. The video provided with this project posting is an example of my work, though a lot of videos on my channel also showcase multiple longstanding stories.
What is this project?"FREAK SHOW" is a YouTube-exclusive MCRP about a student named Rev Vennett, an undead Revenant who struggles to navigate a rehabilitation school for monsters called the Kincaid Academy of Deviants and Exiles. For 8 episodes, Rev Vennett has survived his first semester encounter with a plethora of personalities, and he is now returning for a second semester.
Since this is a long-standing series on my channel, those who audition should be prepared for a consistent commitment! The roles listed below will be significant characters for countless episodes to come (despite their names listed here being subsitutes so as their true identities can be revealed in the series). If you intend to audition, please be prepared to play your character for a long time!
Additionally, lead actors are PREFERRED to be able to play Minecraft: Java Edition to be considered for certain roles (With the exception of Lila--her role REQUIRES Minecraft). This is due to the somewhat improv-style of production we maintain. When you audition, please let us know if you're capable of body acting your role as well!
What are the requirements for this project?Actors are PREFERRED to be capable/willing to bodyact their characters in Minecraft: Java Edition.
You must have a proper microphone with minimal background noise. I'm not picky about the microphone that you use, as long as the quality is fine.
You must have Discord and be willing to join a Discord studio server.
You must be committed to the long term. I do not desire to recast my characters, so if you audition, you must be fully prepared to voice that character for the foreseeable future.
You must meet deadlines. Deadlines may be short at times, but I will strive to give you approximately a week before submission is necessary.
When Auditioning:
Feel free to introduce yourself briefly. I like getting to know who I may be working with. It's not a requirement, however.
Try to include 2-3 takes for each line, with variations in each take. You may vary your voice or emotion in your interpretation of the character.
Feel free to adlib at the end, if you so desire.
If I cast you for a role, I will contact you through Casting Call Club and invite you to the studio Discord.
If you're cast for a role that is not listed on this page, I will try to contact you through Casting Call Club, Twitter (if you have a Twitter provided on your page) or Discord (if one is provided).
I may extend the deadline if I deem it necessary. Please keep an eye on this page for any updates.

Lila is a cursed porcelain doll who comes across as sweet, eager, bubbly, and at times intense. She's extremely affectionate, and she tends to throw her whole heart into the people she cares about. She adores being valued and does anything to earn praise, oftentimes drawing no lines in this endeavor.
However, beneath her bright exterior is an almost sinister dark side. Lila's cheerful demeanor can vanish in an instant if she's made unhappy, and she'll instead be overtaken by a terrifyingly calm countenance that brokers no mercy. In moments of high stress, her gleeful personality delves into the realm of mania, and can take on a very unsettling tone.
I'm looking for a voice actress of medium-to-high pitch who is also capable of expressing overwhelming energy and quiet rage simultaneously. Lila is a character with a very polarizing range to her personality, so a voice actress that encapsulate the depth of her character will be the best fit.

Damien is a charismatic, self-assured young man with a naturally commanding presence. He is smooth, capable, intelligent, and attractive--and he knows it. He often talks down to those he thinks are lesser than him with a smirk. He knows how to get under people’s skin without trying too hard, and there should be a simmering sharpness beneath the charm.
I'm looking for a voice actor with a medium pitch who can capture the confident smoothness of Damien. Someone who can mirror Nero from Devil May Cry's tone will excel in this role. While Damien doesn't often get loud, we will be looking for a voice actor who is capable of bringing volume when it is necessary.

Evelyn is a very self-assured, level-headed figure of authority. Despite her menacing demeanor and consistent smirk, she's fairly empathetic to those she pities. She undertakes a very motherly role, offering advice without pushing her opinions onto others or forcing them to do things they otherwise wouldn't wish to. She excels at instilling passion and comforting those whom she cares for. Despite her incredible age, she constantly tries and struggles to connect with the "youth," often making lighthearted jokes or asking humbly for elaboration on modern things.
I'm looking for a medium-to-low pitch voice actress to embody Evelyn's calm, guiding demeanor. Her tone should be a bit wispy and softer spoken. Reference the English Dub for Esdeath from Akame Ga Kill for tone and intonation.

Bast is a very haughty, snooty Sphinx. She expects to be worshipped like a god, and doesn't tolerate uncleanliness, imperfection, or lack of respect. Reminiscent of a spoiled wealthy child, she refuses to partake in activities she deems as beneath her. She believes herself to be the most interesting, funny being in existence, and has an affinity for poor jokes. She will force others to partake in her "riddles," and if they do not laugh at her jokes, they incur her wrath.
I'm looking for a medium to medium-to-low pitch voice, that can sound very much like a stereotypical entitled rich girl. Bast is an Egyptian princess/idol of worship brought to a high school setting, so a good performance captures the comedy of that concept.

Vance is an angsty, amour-bound spirit who behaves like a knight from the Middle Ages. He speaks of righteous honor and uses wording dated back to the Arthurian times. He doesn't tolerate disrespect or those he believes lack honor, and as a result, he often tries to pick fights. A lot of his actions are shows of bravado, in a desperate attempt to earn the attention of "maidens." Despite being a supposedly honorable knight, Vance isn't patient, kind, or openly charitable--instead opting to only act if someone flatters him, or if he is directly involved.
I'm looking for a medium to medium-to-low pitch for Vance. A voice actor who can mix his archaic dialogue with that of an edgy teenage boy who mouths off to anyone who agitates him will excel in this role.
