Fracture Effect: Episode 0
Project Overview
Hello! From Shooting Line Studios, we are looking for voice actors for Fracture Effect, our first project as a studio. Even though we are labeling this as a machinima, we intend to use it more as a proof of concept to show what we can do with the means available to us. From writing, directing, postproduction and filming it, we have been working tirelessly these past months to reach our goal of finishing the project this 2021. However, we are lacking in the actor department and this is where you come in!

ELLIOT s a passionate explorer that hasn't lost his capacity to be amazed by the wonders of the universe. Very driven and when he sets his mind on an objective it is very improbable that anything will be able to stop him. He is very kind hearted and selfless. Few things entice him more than a good conundrum, specially if astrophysics is involved. His travel companion in all these years has been ARC, to whom he considers his best friend, even if she tends to irritate him from time to time.

[Appreciative and slighlty sarcastic, while stating the obvious] (satisfied)
"Sometimes I forget you are actually a computer. That was pretty smart"
[He has decided he is going to risk their life to obtain their objective] (serious, with conviction, with a tad of apprehension)
"I know what I have to do, but there is a big chance that if I deactivate the field, they will be able to find us. "
ARC is an extremely intelligent and advanced AI with a sassy attitude, so much that she is indistinguishable from a real sentient being. She’s been Elliot´s loyal companion and will do anything to protect him. She has his back, always, although she loves to push his buttons in a cheeky way. Shares with Elliot the passion for the search of knowledge and solving intricate mysteries
[Elliot just asked ARC to do something and she is responding sarcastically]
"You didn’t need to ask, it’s obvious you couldn’t do this without me."
[ARC is explaining her actions to solve a problem they where facing) (calm)
"As an AI, I don’t perceive music as you do. While I was processing the tones played by the monolith, I translated them into a mathematical equation and realized that the variables matched the equation of the cultural archive. So I played it as an answer."
[ironic yet appreciative to be back with Elliot] (glad)
