Project Overview
Avea is a quiet, worn-down office worker stuck in a drab cubicle farm where even the sticky notes loop. When the water dispenser breaks, she's sent to a storage level that shouldn't exist, where a scratched brass elevator waits at the end of an endless hallway. It takes her to a brighter, "perfect" version of her office, full of synchronized coworkers whose smiles linger too long. Then it follows her home.
Quiet uncanny-horror with dry humor, about burnout, dissociation, and the fear that a "better" version of your life might be replacing the real one.
Calm, almost detached, quiet. Tired late-night-conversation energy. Dry humor with growing unease. INFJ- ENTP
"Does this place feel... different? ... Too... perfect."
(nervous) "Cool. Cool. That's cool."
"Whether or not today feels real enough to justify going out and eating at lunch."
Casual, calm, energetic ,natural. The only genuine person in the office. Her alternate version is soft, delayed, and comforting but hollow.
You've seemed distracted today
Maybe you're finally getting enough sleep
Sarcastic and playful, low energy but expressive. Humor masks exhaustion. His alternate version is smooth, warm-less, and expressive but empty.
You coming to lunch with us today, Avea, or are you going to keep pretending that instant noodles count as food
There you are! We missed you at the meeting this morning.
Monotone, gloomy, repetitive. In the alternate office, cheerful and eerily synchronized. The Older Coworker is flat and senior

Sound is a big part of the storytelling. You'd be responsible for:
Editing and cleaning voice actor recordings (removing noise, breaths, and mouth clicks, and matching levels between actors)
Mixing dialogue, music, and sound effects into a balanced final track
Sound design for key moments, including:
Fluorescent light hum and flicker
Office ambience that fades out abruptly
Synchronized keyboard typing
Elevator dings and warped, slowed "waiting music"
Echoing hallway acoustics
Distant, eerie elevator bells
Syncing audio to animation as needed

The elevator waiting music: soft, warm, nostalgic instrumental music that sounds like classic elevator or lobby music, but is later warped, slowed, and distorted, like an old cassette tape running out of battery. This is the show's signature piece and returns at the very end.
The "perfect office" music: gentle, polished background music that feels pleasant but hollow.
Atmosphere for the storage level and parking garage: sparse, cold, minimal. Silence and space matter as much as notes.
Apartment theme: the warmest piece in the episode, cozy and human.
Short motifs or stingers for moments like the elevator's arrival and the final yellow light under the door.
