Five Nights at Freddy's: Follow Me

Five Nights at Freddy's: Follow Me

Project Overview

Five Nights at Freddy's: Follow Me

The Story

1985.

Freddy Fazbear's Pizza is in full swing.

The arcade machines are running, birthday parties fill the dining room, and Freddy Fazbear and his friends take the stage every day to entertain families from across town.

For the newest employee at Freddy's, it's supposed to be a normal job.

Clock in. Help customers. Clean up after parties. Keep the arcade running. Deal with coworkers. Make sure the animatronics are ready for their next performance.

And, eventually, clock out.

Over the coming months, you'll get to know the people who pass through Freddy's doors. Children celebrating birthdays. Parents trying to keep up with them. Regular customers who become familiar faces. Employees simply trying to finish another shift.

You'll explore the restaurant while it's still alive and operating—from the crowded dining room and glowing arcade to the employee areas hidden behind the show.

At first, there's nothing particularly unusual about Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

Days pass.

Then weeks.

The job starts to become routine.

But eventually, little things begin to stand out.

A conversation you weren't meant to hear.

A door you're told to leave alone.

Someone appearing where you don't expect them.

A familiar yellow rabbit.

Maybe none of it means anything.

After all...

it's just another day at Freddy's.

About the Game

Five Nights at Freddy's: Follow Me is a story-driven, interactive fan visual novel set in 1985.

Rather than focusing on the traditional overnight security-guard experience, Follow Me explores Freddy Fazbear's Pizza while the restaurant is still open and operating.

At the beginning of the game, players choose between two protagonists: Matthew “Matt” Bennett or Heather Bennett, seventeen-year-old twins who have both applied for a job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

The selected character gets the job, but the other remains part of the story.

Matt and Heather are separate characters with their own personalities, dialogue, relationships, and experiences. Choosing between them determines whose perspective you follow and may change how parts of the story unfold.

Players will experience the story through dialogue, character interactions, choices, optional scenes, and explorable story paths.

Your decisions can affect who you spend time with, which relationships you build, which conversations you hear, what areas you visit, and what parts of the story you personally witness.

Characters have their own routines, relationships, and lives outside of the protagonist. Being somewhere at the right time might allow you to see something another player misses entirely.

Choices made earlier in the story may also affect events much later.

Not everything can be experienced in a single playthrough.

However, some things are bigger than the choices you make.

The project aims to remain respectful of established Five Nights at Freddy's lore while creating an original story within the parts of Freddy's history that remain unseen.

Chapters

Follow Me is planned as a chapter-based game, with different parts of the story released as development progresses.

The story takes place across an extended period of 1985 rather than only a few consecutive nights.

Chapters are divided based on the story rather than a fixed amount of in-game time. One chapter may cover several days, while another may span multiple weeks.

Some periods may pass quickly. Others may contain several playable shifts, character routes, optional scenes, and larger story events.

Choices, relationships, and important decisions are intended to carry forward between chapters.

Earlier decisions may affect scenes much later in the game.

Voice Acting

Follow Me will feature voice performances for its major and supporting characters.

We're looking for actors who can deliver natural and believable performances. While some roles involve established Five Nights at Freddy's characters, exact impressions of existing performances are not required.

Interpretation, acting ability, emotion, and character fit are more important than perfectly recreating another actor's voice.

Unless an individual role states otherwise, actors are welcome to provide multiple takes or interpretations of audition lines.

Please submit reasonably clean recordings without excessive background noise, clipping, echo, or processing.

Content Notice

Five Nights at Freddy's: Follow Me is a horror story.

The project contains or discusses themes including disappearances, child endangerment, death, disturbing situations, and other subject matter associated with the Five Nights at Freddy's series.

Horror will primarily be presented through atmosphere, suspense, implication, and story rather than graphic depictions of violence.

Please consider these themes before auditioning.

Project Information

This is currently an unpaid, non-commercial fan project.

The game is planned as a long-term project and will be developed and released in chapters rather than waiting for the entire game to be completed at once.

The Casting Call Club submission deadline is intentionally set approximately one year away because development will continue over a longer period of time.

Development and casting will not wait until the deadline.

Applications may be reviewed and roles may be filled throughout development. Additional roles may also be added as later parts of the game enter production.

The longer deadline allows this page to remain open as the project grows rather than repeatedly closing and reopening casting.

Selected contributors will be credited using their preferred credited name.

Because the project is in active development, selected contributors should be comfortable with the possibility of revisions, pickups, or additional work as development continues.

As an unofficial fan project using the Five Nights at Freddy's property, Follow Me will remain non-commercial unless explicit permission for commercial use is obtained from the appropriate rights holder.

Matt is laid-back, sarcastic, and generally easy to get along with. He's quick to joke around, especially with his twin sister, Heather, and isn't above being a little annoying just to get a reaction out of her.

He isn't constantly joking, though. Matt can become stubborn or frustrated when he feels like he isn't being taken seriously, and when things genuinely go wrong, that confidence can disappear quickly.

We're looking for a natural teenage performance rather than an exaggerated “teen” voice. The role will require a broad emotional range throughout the project.

As one of the game's two possible protagonists, Matt is a large recurring role.

Line 1 — Casual / joking: Matt isn't genuinely worried about the job. He's brushing it off and thinks working at Freddy's should be pretty straightforward.

Line 2 — Playful / teasing: Typical sibling banter. Matt knows the age difference is ridiculously small and is using it purely because annoying Heather is funny.

Line 3 — Quiet fear: Matt has seen something behind Heather that has genuinely frightened him. He's trying to keep his voice under control because he doesn't want her to panic—or alert whatever he's looking at.

Heather is observant, independent, and a little more deliberate than her twin brother, Matt. She's comfortable joking around with people she knows, but tends to think before she speaks and is quick to notice when something—or someone—doesn't quite add up.

That doesn't mean she's always cautious or serious. Heather can be playful, stubborn, curious, and perfectly willing to push back when she disagrees with someone. When she's convinced she's right, getting her to drop something can be difficult.

We're looking for a natural teenage performance rather than an exaggerated “teen” voice. The role will require a broad emotional range throughout the project, from everyday conversation and sibling banter to anger, fear, panic, and heavier emotional scenes.

As one of the game's two possible protagonists, Heather is a large recurring role.

Line 1 — Casual / teasing: Heather is responding to Matt acting overly confident about getting the job. She's amused and taking the opportunity to knock him down a peg.

Line 2 — Curious / suspicious: Something about what she's been told doesn't make sense. She isn't frightened yet—she's genuinely trying to figure out why someone is avoiding her question.

Line 3 — Fear / emotional: Heather is frightened and trying desperately to keep herself composed. She's speaking quietly because being heard could make the situation worse.

This role is for various background, minor, and smaller supporting characters who appear throughout Five Nights at Freddy's: Follow Me.

These may include Freddy's customers, parents, children, employees, local residents, and other characters encountered throughout the story.

While some characters may only appear briefly, characters within the game will still have their own names and identities rather than simply being labelled as generic background characters.

Multiple people may be cast through this role, and selected actors may be considered for more than one character depending on their range and availability.

We're looking for natural performances and a variety of voices. You do not need to drastically change your voice between every audition line—the lines are primarily intended to demonstrate different types of delivery.

For this role specifically, each audition line represents a different POV and contains three separate dialogue samples. You are not required to audition for every POV. You may choose whichever one best suits your voice, or audition for multiple if you would like to demonstrate your range.

Line 1 — Customer POV: Perform the three lines as a customer visiting Freddy's. The lines move from an ordinary interaction into concern and unease. Keep the performance natural and grounded rather than exaggerated.

Line 2 — Employee POV: Perform the three lines as an employee working at Freddy's. The lines range from routine customer service to situations where something clearly isn't right.

Line 3 — Parent / Guardian POV: Perform the three lines as a parent or guardian visiting Freddy's. The lines move from an ordinary family visit into genuine concern and urgency.

Each POV contains three dialogue samples, with each sample having its own emotion and circumstances. Please perform all three dialogue samples within whichever POV you choose.

When submitting your audition, please include either the name of the POV you performed or its corresponding line number—for example, "Customer" or "Line 1".

Role assigned to: Caleb Martin

William Afton is the co-founder and co-owner of Fazbear Entertainment. He's reserved, intelligent, professional, and often difficult to read. While he can initially come across as cold or intimidating, he's also capable of being surprisingly warm, helpful, and even occasionally humorous.

William has experienced significant loss in his personal life, something that has contributed to his more withdrawn nature. People who have known him for some time generally understand that his distance isn't necessarily hostility.

He rarely needs to raise his voice to command a room. When he's annoyed or angry, he tends to become quieter and more controlled rather than immediately losing his temper.

We're looking for a performance that can move naturally between warmth, professionalism, authority, and something much more unsettling without making them feel like completely different characters.

An exact impression of an existing William Afton performance is not required. Interpretation and acting ability are more important than perfectly recreating a previous voice.

William is a large recurring role throughout the project.

Line 1 — Warm / dry humour: William is speaking casually with a younger employee who has made a small mistake and is clearly expecting to be yelled at. William isn't particularly bothered

Line 2 — Professional / authoritative: William is dealing with a problem at the restaurant. He's calm and direct, but this isn't a suggestion. He expects the employee to listen and handle it.

Line 3 — Cold / unsettling: William has caught someone somewhere they aren't supposed to be. He isn't shouting, threatening them, or obviously angry. If anything, he's unusually calm. The discomfort should come from the change in his delivery rather than turning him into an exaggerated villain.

Role assigned to: Andrew Joseph

Henry Emily is the co-founder and co-owner of Fazbear Entertainment. He's intelligent, creative, patient, and generally more approachable than his business partner, William Afton.

Henry has a strong attachment to the things he creates and can easily become absorbed in his work. He may be responsible for running a company, but he's still the kind of person who would rather personally investigate a problem with an animatronic than simply hand it off to someone else.

He's generally kind toward employees and doesn't deliberately make himself intimidating, though he's perfectly capable of becoming firm when something genuinely matters. Beneath that approachable exterior is someone carrying significant grief of his own.

We're looking for a natural, grounded performance with warmth and sincerity. Henry should be able to sound friendly and approachable without becoming overly cheerful, while still having the emotional range required for quieter, heavier, and more serious scenes.

An exact impression of an existing Henry Emily performance is not required. Interpretation and acting ability are more important than perfectly recreating a previous voice.

Henry is a large recurring role throughout the project.

Line 1 — Warm / conversational: Henry is talking to a new employee while working on something. He's friendly and genuinely trying to make them feel welcome, even though part of his attention is still on what he's fixing.

Line 2 — Focused / technical: Something isn't behaving the way Henry expects. He's thinking through the problem aloud rather than explaining it for someone else's benefit.

Line 3 — Quiet / emotional: The conversation has touched on something deeply personal. Henry isn't breaking down or openly crying; he's trying to keep himself composed, but the subject clearly hurts.

Susie is a cheerful, friendly, and affectionate child who regularly visits Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. She's naturally talkative once she feels comfortable around someone and has a habit of enthusiastically sharing whatever happens to be on her mind.

She's particularly caring toward animals and can become deeply attached to the people and things she loves. While usually bright and energetic, Susie is also sensitive, and her emotions can hit her hard when something genuinely upsets her.

Susie shouldn't sound overly childish or cartoonish. We're looking for a believable child performance that can handle ordinary conversation, excitement, sadness, fear, and more emotionally demanding scenes.

This is a recurring role with appearances throughout the project.

Line 1 — Excited / friendly: Susie is enthusiastically telling someone about something she loves. She's speaking quickly because she's excited, not because she's deliberately trying to be loud.

Line 2 — Playful / confident: Susie is challenging someone to an arcade game and is completely convinced she's going to win.

Line 3 — Upset / vulnerable: Susie has been crying and is trying to explain what's wrong. She's quieter than usual and desperately wants what she's just been told to be true.

Gabriel is friendly, outgoing, and confident, with the kind of personality that makes it easy for him to start talking to someone he's only just met. He's energetic without constantly being loud and enjoys turning almost anything into a competition.

He can be a little too confident in himself at times and doesn't particularly enjoy admitting when he's wrong or when something has scared him. Despite that, Gabriel genuinely cares about the people around him and will often try to make someone feel included rather than leaving them on their own.

We're looking for a believable child performance with plenty of personality. Gabriel should be able to move naturally between joking around, excitement, frustration, uncertainty, fear, and more serious emotional moments without sounding overly cartoonish.

This is a recurring role with appearances throughout the project.

Line 1 — Friendly / confident: Gabriel has noticed someone standing by themselves and casually invites them to join him. He's comfortable approaching people and doesn't make a big deal out of it.

Line 2 — Competitive / playful: Gabriel has just lost an arcade game and absolutely refuses to accept that the other person is simply better than him.

Line 3 — Nervous / trying to hide it: Something has made Gabriel uncomfortable, but he doesn't want to admit he's scared. He's trying to convince both the person he's speaking to and himself that everything is fine.

Jeremy isn't particularly timid, but he's more likely to think about whether something is a bad idea before doing it. When he does become frightened, he tends to become quieter rather than immediately panicking.

We're looking for a believable child performance that can handle curiosity, humour, excitement, uncertainty, fear, and more emotional scenes without sounding overly cartoonish.

This is a recurring role with appearances throughout the project.

Line 1 — Curious / conversational: Jeremy has noticed something about the animatronics and is asking an employee about it. He's genuinely interested and expects there to be an actual answer.

Line 2 — Playful / mischievous: Jeremy knows he's suggesting something they're probably not supposed to do. He's trying to convince someone else that it's harmless.

Fritz is energetic, adventurous, and always looking for something to do. He's easily bored when he's expected to sit still for too long and would much rather be exploring the arcade, watching the animatronics, or convincing someone else to come along with whatever idea he's just had.

He's confident and impulsive, often acting before he's completely thought something through. Fritz enjoys testing boundaries and has a habit of treating rules more like suggestions, but he's usually looking for fun rather than deliberately trying to cause trouble.

Despite his confidence, Fritz isn't fearless. When something genuinely frightens him, his first instinct is often to joke about it or pretend it didn't bother him.

We're looking for a believable child performance with plenty of energy and personality. Fritz should be able to handle excitement, humour, mischief, frustration, fear, and more serious emotional moments without sounding overly cartoonish.

This is a recurring role with appearances throughout the project.

Line 1 — Excited / energetic: Fritz has just had an idea and immediately wants the other person to come with him. In his mind, there is absolutely no reason to stand around discussing it first.

Line 2 — Mischievous / persuasive: Fritz wants to go somewhere they're not supposed to. He knows the other person thinks it's a bad idea, so he's attempting to make it sound completely harmless.

Role assigned to: Charlie

Cassidy is independent, sharp, and more reserved than some of the other children who visit Freddy's. She doesn't immediately trust everyone she meets and usually prefers getting a sense of someone before deciding whether she actually likes them.

Once comfortable, Cassidy has a much more playful side. She has a dry sense of humour, enjoys teasing people she likes, and isn't afraid to speak her mind when she thinks someone is being ridiculous.

She's particularly observant and has a habit of noticing things happening around her even when nobody realizes she's paying attention. That curiosity can make it difficult for her to leave something alone once she believes something is wrong.

Cassidy can also be stubborn. If she's decided she's going to do something, simply telling her not to is rarely enough to change her mind.

We're looking for a believable child performance rather than an intentionally creepy or supernatural-sounding voice. Cassidy is, first and foremost, a normal kid during the events of the story. The role will require range across casual conversation, humour, curiosity, anger, fear, and heavier emotional scenes.

This is a recurring role with appearances throughout the project.

Line 1 — Dry / playful: Cassidy is teasing someone she's become comfortable around. She's deliberately acting unimpressed, but she's clearly having fun.

Line 2 — Suspicious / curious: Cassidy has noticed something that doesn't make sense. Someone has already tried to dismiss it, and that answer has only made her more interested.

Line 3 — Angry / frightened: Cassidy is scared, but that fear is coming out as anger. Someone is telling her to stay back or leave something alone, and she's refusing to simply accept what she's being told.

Role assigned to: Freddie

Michael Afton is William Afton's eldest and only surviving son. He's sarcastic, guarded, and often gives the impression that he'd rather be anywhere else than having a serious conversation.

Michael has a dry sense of humour and frequently uses sarcasm to deflect uncomfortable situations. He can be argumentative, stubborn, and deliberately annoying when he wants to be, but much of that attitude disappears when something genuinely gets to him.

Following the death of his younger brother two years earlier, Michael carries a considerable amount of guilt. He doesn't openly discuss what happened and can become defensive or withdrawn when his family is brought up.

His relationship with his father is particularly strained. Michael knows William doesn't forgive him for what happened, and being around him can quickly change Michael from sarcastic and confident to much more guarded.

Despite everything, Michael isn't uncaring. He's still a teenager dealing with the consequences of something he never intended to happen, even if he struggles to express that without hiding behind humour or anger.

We're looking for a natural teenage performance rather than an exaggerated “teen” voice. Michael should be able to move between sarcasm, humour, irritation, anger, guilt, fear, and genuine vulnerability.

An exact impression of an existing Michael Afton performance is not required. Interpretation, emotion, and character fit are more important than recreating another performance.

Michael is a large recurring role throughout the project.

Line 1 — Dry / sarcastic: Michael has been asked an obvious question and responds with unnecessary sarcasm. He's comfortable around the person and isn't genuinely annoyed.

Line 2 — Defensive / irritated: Someone has started asking about Michael's family. His attitude changes immediately. He wants the conversation to end and doesn't appreciate them pushing further.

Line 3 — Guilty / vulnerable: Michael is talking about what happened to his younger brother. There's no sarcasm left. He still carries the guilt two years later and hates admitting how much it affects him.

This role is for artists interested in creating character artwork and illustrated visual novel sprites for Five Nights at Freddy's: Follow Me.

When we refer to "sprites," we mean illustrated visual novel character sprites—not pixel art or retro-style game sprites. Think character artwork displayed over backgrounds during dialogue, with different expressions, poses, and visual variations depending on the scene.

The game features a mixture of original characters and established Five Nights at Freddy's characters portrayed during the story's 1985 setting. This includes the main protagonists, recurring characters, children, Freddy's employees, customers, and other characters encountered throughout the story.

The primary responsibility of this role will be creating 2D illustrated character sprites used throughout dialogue and story scenes. Characters will require multiple facial expressions and may also require alternate poses, outfits, states, or other variations as the story progresses.

We're looking for artwork that is stylized, expressive, and suited to a character-focused visual novel rather than photorealistic or pixelated. The same characters need to work during casual conversations, comedic interactions, emotional scenes, and much darker horror sequences.

Because Follow Me is being developed in chapters, artwork will be produced gradually alongside development. Artists will not be expected to create the game's entire cast and every sprite variation at once.

What to Submit

Please provide examples of your character artwork that best demonstrate your style and ability to draw expressive characters.

Examples involving character designs, visual novel sprites, facial expressions, alternate poses, or outfit variations are especially useful.

Existing artwork and portfolio pieces are completely fine—you do not need to create new artwork specifically for your application.

If you specialize in a particular part of character artwork—such as character design, line art, colouring, expressions, or sprite variations—feel free to mention that when applying.

Multiple character artists may be selected depending on the project's needs and the applications received.

This role is for artists interested in creating illustrated backgrounds and environments for Five Nights at Freddy's: Follow Me.

The game takes place primarily in and around Freddy Fazbear's Pizza during 1985, while the restaurant is still open and operating. Rather than spending the entire game in one security office, players will visit different areas of the restaurant and other locations throughout the story.

This role is for illustrated visual novel backgrounds—not pixel art or retro-style backgrounds.

Backgrounds will appear behind character sprites during dialogue, exploration, choices, and story scenes. We're looking for environments that feel like actual spaces characters could move through rather than simple decorative backdrops.

Locations may include areas such as the dining room, arcade, show stage, party rooms, hallways, employee areas, backstage spaces, offices, exterior areas, and additional locations introduced throughout the story.

Some environments may require multiple versions or states. For example, the same location might appear during different times of day, with different lighting, with customers present or absent, or after something within the story has changed.

The visual direction should capture the colourful, family-friendly appearance Freddy's is supposed to present to the public while still allowing those same environments to become uncomfortable or threatening when the story calls for it.

Because this is set in 1985, environments should also avoid obviously modern technology, furniture, signage, or other details that would feel out of place for the period. References will be provided where needed.

Follow Me is being developed in chapters, so backgrounds will be created gradually alongside development. You will not be expected to create every environment in the game at once.

Experience with visual novels, games, perspective drawing, architecture, or environmental art is welcome, but not required.

What to Submit

Please provide examples of your artwork that best demonstrate your ability to create environments or backgrounds.

Examples involving interiors, buildings, perspective, lighting, atmosphere, or visual-novel-style backgrounds are especially useful.

Existing artwork and portfolio pieces are completely fine—you do not need to create a new background specifically for your application.

If you specialize in particular types of environments, such as interiors, exteriors, lighting variants, or horror environments, feel free to mention that when applying.

UI / Graphic Artist

This role is for artists and graphic designers interested in creating the user interface and supporting visual assets for Five Nights at Freddy's: Follow Me.

While the character and environment artists will handle the people and locations within the story, this role focuses on the visual elements surrounding the game itself.

This may include dialogue boxes, choice menus, pause and settings screens, save/load menus, chapter screens, buttons, icons, title-screen elements, and other interface graphics used throughout the game.

The goal is to create a UI that feels appropriate for Follow Me and its 1985 setting while remaining clear and easy to use. We're interested in incorporating influences from Freddy Fazbear's Pizza itself—such as arcade machines, restaurant branding, signage, tickets, employee materials, and other period-appropriate elements—without making the interface difficult to read.

This role may also involve creating in-universe graphics that appear during the story, such as posters, advertisements, menus, signs, employee notices, arcade graphics, documents, photographs, or other visual materials.

We're looking for someone comfortable balancing style with usability. The interface should have personality, but players should always be able to easily understand dialogue, choices, menus, and other important information.

Because Follow Me is being developed in chapters, additional UI elements and graphics may be needed as development continues. You will not be expected to create every possible asset immediately.

Experience with game UI, visual novels, graphic design, typography, or interface design is welcome, but not required.

What to Submit

Please provide examples of work that demonstrates your ability in UI design, graphic design, typography, menus, icons, posters, signage, or similar visual work.

Mock-ups from previous projects, personal projects, and existing portfolio pieces are completely fine—you do not need to create anything specifically for your application.

If you're particularly interested in either game UI or in-universe graphic design, feel free to mention which area you'd prefer to work on.

Multiple artists/designers may be selected depending on the needs of the project.

2D Animator

2D Animator

This role is for animators interested in creating 2D animation for Five Nights at Freddy's: Follow Me.

While most dialogue and character interactions will use illustrated visual novel sprites, certain moments throughout the game may benefit from additional animation rather than remaining completely static.

This could include character movement, short animated sequences, transitions, environmental movement, animatronic motion, horror sequences, or important story moments where animation would add significantly to the scene.

The intention is not to fully animate the entire visual novel. Most of the game will still use character sprites and illustrated backgrounds. Animation will primarily be reserved for moments where movement has a meaningful impact.

Depending on the scene, animation may range from subtle movement—such as a character shifting position or an environmental element moving—to more involved sequences created specifically for major story moments.

Animators may work alongside the character and background artists so that existing artwork can remain visually consistent when brought into motion.

We're looking for animation that fits the project's illustrated visual novel style, rather than pixel animation. The game includes both ordinary character-driven scenes and horror sequences, so the ability to handle different moods and pacing is useful.

Follow Me is being developed in chapters, meaning animation work will be requested gradually as scenes requiring it are developed. You will not be expected to animate an entire game's worth of material at once.

Experience with 2D animation, visual novels, fangames, motion graphics, or similar projects is welcome, but not required.

What to Submit

Please provide examples of your animation work.

Short animations, character animation, personal projects, school work, game animation, motion tests, animatics, or other existing examples are completely fine.

You do not need to create a new animation specifically for your application.

If you specialize in a particular area—such as character animation, effects, horror animation, animatronics/mechanical movement, or motion graphics—feel free to mention that when applying.

Multiple animators may be selected depending on the project's needs.

Composer / Musician

This role is for composers and musicians interested in creating original music for Five Nights at Freddy's: Follow Me.

Music will play an important role in establishing the atmosphere of the game. Because the story follows Freddy Fazbear's Pizza while it is still open and operating, the soundtrack will need to cover considerably more than horror.

Some scenes may be energetic, comfortable, funny, emotional, unsettling, or completely ordinary before the story begins moving into darker territory.

Music may be needed for character moments, exploration, everyday restaurant scenes, emotional sequences, suspense, horror, major story events, chapter-specific moments, and other situations throughout the game.

Certain characters, locations, or ideas may also have their own recurring musical themes or motifs that develop alongside the story.

The game's 1985 setting may influence portions of the soundtrack, particularly music associated with Freddy Fazbear's Pizza itself. However, the entire soundtrack does not need to imitate 1980s music simply because the story takes place during that period.

Some tracks may also exist within the world itself, such as music heard from arcade machines, restaurant speakers, advertisements, performances, or other sources characters can actually hear.

We're looking for composers who can create music that supports a scene without overwhelming it. Since Follow Me is heavily focused on dialogue and character interaction, much of the soundtrack will need to comfortably sit underneath conversations while still establishing a recognizable mood.

You do not need to be able to compose every possible style. Multiple musicians may be selected, and different composers may work on different parts of the soundtrack depending on their strengths.

Follow Me is being developed in chapters, so music will be created gradually as the game develops. You will not be expected to produce an entire soundtrack immediately.

What to Submit

Please provide examples of music you've created.

Original soundtracks, game music, instrumentals, character themes, ambient pieces, personal projects, or other existing compositions are all welcome.

Examples demonstrating atmosphere, emotional storytelling, suspense, horror, or music suitable for playing underneath dialogue are particularly useful.

You do not need to compose a new track specifically for your application.

When applying, feel free to mention the styles you are most comfortable creating and which areas of the soundtrack you'd be most interested in working on.

Sound Designer / Audio Engineer

Sound Designer / Audio Engineer

This role is for sound designers and audio engineers interested in creating and working with the audio used throughout Five Nights at Freddy's: Follow Me.

While music will establish much of the game's overall mood, this role focuses on the sounds that make the world itself feel alive.

Because much of Follow Me takes place inside a functioning Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, sound will be especially important for establishing the difference between a busy family restaurant during the day and those same spaces when something doesn't feel quite right.

Audio may include restaurant ambience, arcade sounds, footsteps, doors, kitchen noise, crowds, machinery, animatronic movement, environmental sounds, transitions, horror effects, and other sounds required throughout the story.

Some scenes may require layered ambience rather than individual sound effects—for example, the combination of conversations, arcade cabinets, children playing, music, kitchen activity, and animatronics performing that makes Freddy's actually sound like an operating restaurant.

Other moments may deliberately become much quieter, allowing smaller sounds to become significantly more noticeable.

Animatronics will also require particular attention. Their movement should feel mechanical and physical, with different sounds depending on what they're doing and where the player is in relation to them.

This role may also involve editing, cleaning, mixing, or preparing audio assets so they work consistently within the game.

We're looking for sound design that supports the atmosphere without constantly drawing attention to itself. Not every unsettling scene needs an enormous horror sting—sometimes hearing something small that shouldn't be there is much more effective.

You do not need to specialize in every area of audio production. Multiple people may be selected depending on their strengths and the needs of the project.

Follow Me is being developed in chapters, so audio work will be completed gradually alongside development rather than requiring the entire game's sound library immediately.

What to Submit

Please provide examples of your previous audio or sound-design work.

Examples may include sound effects, ambience, Foley, game audio, horror audio, mechanical sounds, audio editing, mixing, or other relevant projects.

Video clips or scenes where you've replaced or created the sound design are also welcome.

Existing work is completely fine—you do not need to create new audio specifically for your application.

If you specialize in a particular area—such as Foley, ambience, horror sound design, mechanical/animatronic audio, mixing, or audio editing—feel free to mention that when applying.

Multiple sound designers/audio engineers may be selected depending on the project's needs.
