William Afton is the co-founder and co-owner of Fazbear Entertainment. He's reserved, intelligent, professional, and often difficult to read. While he can initially come across as cold or intimidating, he's also capable of being surprisingly warm, helpful, and even occasionally humorous.

William has experienced significant loss in his personal life, something that has contributed to his more withdrawn nature. People who have known him for some time generally understand that his distance isn't necessarily hostility.

He rarely needs to raise his voice to command a room. When he's annoyed or angry, he tends to become quieter and more controlled rather than immediately losing his temper.

We're looking for a performance that can move naturally between warmth, professionalism, authority, and something much more unsettling without making them feel like completely different characters.

An exact impression of an existing William Afton performance is not required. Interpretation and acting ability are more important than perfectly recreating a previous voice.

William is a large recurring role throughout the project.

Line 1 — Warm / dry humour: William is speaking casually with a younger employee who has made a small mistake and is clearly expecting to be yelled at. William isn't particularly bothered

Line 2 — Professional / authoritative: William is dealing with a problem at the restaurant. He's calm and direct, but this isn't a suggestion. He expects the employee to listen and handle it.

Line 3 — Cold / unsettling: William has caught someone somewhere they aren't supposed to be. He isn't shouting, threatening them, or obviously angry. If anything, he's unusually calm. The discomfort should come from the change in his delivery rather than turning him into an exaggerated villain.

The sides they read from:
  • “If it can be fixed, fix it. I'm not going to fire you over a spilled drink.”

  • “Close the room for now. Move the party to the other side of the restaurant, and I'll deal with the rest.”

  • “You've taken a wrong turn. This part of the building isn't open to you.”
