Hi there guys!
I've been wanting to dub some of the support conversations from Fire Emblem: Three Houses for awhile. And now, I feel like I am ready to give this a shot!
So, the four characters that I decided to voice are:
*Flayn
*Mercedes
*Constance
*Edelgard
So what I did was I went through all of the supports and all of the dialogues. I chose these four women to voice for now (based mostly on their Japanese voices, not gonna lie), and then picked which support chats I liked. So here's how they pair up!
Flayn & Dimitri: C-Support
Flayn & Ferdinand: C-Support
Flayn & Seteth: Either B or A-support
Constance & Edelgard: C-Support
Edelgard & Hubert: A-Support
Mercedes & Ashe: B-Support
These are UNPAID, but I am looking for the second column of voices. I look forward to hearing from you!!!
This conversation between Dimitri and Flayn is really cute. Flayn cooks food, and everyone suddenly vanishes, even her brother Seteth! But when Dimitri shows up, he tries the food and is very courteous to her.
For Dimitri, unfortunately I have not played the game in English, but I am looking for a medium pitched voice, with a gentle nature (without being cowardly). He is being kind to Flayn, and complimenting her cooking.
"Besides, I can tell you put a lot of love and dedication into preparing this food for everyone. That alone makes it taste good"
"If you like, you could just cook enough for me"
"There were a few suspiciously crunchy bits here and there, but other than that, it was fine."
This conversation with Ferdinand involves him doing some maintenance on his sword with oil, and Flayn talking about how delicious it smells.
Ferdinand comes from royalty, so I want that kind of haughtiness in his voice. He is very self-absorbed. xD I want a proud, loud voice on the medium-high range.
"Ah, Flayn, hello! Are you referring to the smell of this oil?"
"We are always dancing with death on the battlefield. When your focus wavers, your life is forfeit."
"Well, that was quick. Hmm...I will admit, now that she has mentioned it, it is a rather appetizing smell"
Seteth is a protective older brother, and we really see that in this scene. Flayn approaches Seteth about his meddling in her affairs and relationships with her classmates.
Seteth is older, so I want a med-low voice. He's overprotective, almost overbearing. He tries to keep Flayn under control as much as possible, so I want that kind of tone throughout this one.
"I have seen the way he looks at you. I recognized in an instant that he had impure feelings for you."
"Of course I trust you. But, as an elder brother, I have a certain responsibility."
"Flayn, is something the matter?"
Constance is quite a handful when it comes to asking favors, especially in this scene with Edelgard.
Edelgard is the princess, so I do expect a bit of pride in her tone. But not too much. She tends to separate herself from her classmates, and it shows. I am looking for a med-high voice for this character.
"Is this what you wished to show me? I must admit I've never seen a thing. Is it potable?"
"That was amusing, Constance, but out with it. What was that favor you wished to ask of me?"
"But how do you imagine rainbow tea will help me to achieve my aim?"
Hubert is a strange dude. He is quiet, and conniving, and will do anything to please Edelgard.
In this scene, the secret's out: Hubert likes Edie. But I don't want too much feeling behind it. I don't know how he sounds in English, but the way he is portrayed in Japanese is very sly and serious. He's always got some dirty trick up his sleeve. Definitely a low and smoooooth voice please.
"I fear you have misunderstood me, Your Majesty. It is true that I am officially your minister, but such titles are of little significance to me"
"Yes, that is the one secret I had particularly hoped to keep from you."
"If you prefer to treat this formally, then charge me with a crime. I will gladly offer up my neck to the executioner."
We're back to the food scenes! (I'm hungry as I type this...oh no.)
Mercedes is good at baking cakes, but not so good at normal cooking. Enter Ashe, who saves the day with his talent in the kitchen.
Ashe is best boy. Really hard to describe him. xD He has a med-high voice, and is cute. I mean, I think that's all you need to know.
"Let me taste it. Hmm...yeah, a little sweet. What if we try adding a few spices?"
"But look at you--you're great at baking cakes!"
"Oh, this won't end well. If I leave her to it, she'll make an even bigger mess."
