Fire Emblem Fates REBOOT
Project Overview
Wow I am back...and so is this project! After being inactive for over 2 years due to other commitments, my Fire Emblem Fates project rises from the ashes.
The plan for this project is to fandub all 3 routes...but let's just start with Birthrights for now!
This project will start from chapter 8, where I left off, and look at fandubbing all the cut scenes in between game play.
For now, we will not be doing supports, just focusing on the story!
We will however be tackling the Critical Hits, which I previously did 2 years ago, so good acting is imperative to this project and will greatly rise your chances of being cast!
Just a few notes/rules to get out of the way-
1. Have decent quality - As little background noise, echoes and pops as possible! An expensive mic is not required, and a good phone mic might also pass...but do refrain from using computer mics. But as they say, a good set-up can make any mic work!
2. Be able to act - Read your lines with emotion, become the character! Line 3 will have you shouting anyways, so that will be a good time to shine with your acting!
3. Be creative - Though all these characters have English Voice Actors, please try something new! Impressions are boring, be creative and give the character a voice you think would fit...so long as it is within their character!
4. Not all roles are up for auditions - As this is a reboot, a few of the voice actors from the previous running of the project will be reprising their roles. Though most of the main roles are still here!
5. Communication - We have a Discord group, so be sure to have a Discord account so you can join the server if cast!
6. Be committed - Roles that have less lines can be wrapped up quickly, but if you find yourself in a main role, don't be unprofessional. If you cannot make the deadlines, just let me know and we can work something out!
7. Have fun! - This is the main rule! These characters are quite well known by now, through in a little improv or line at the end. It may raise your chances of being cast! (So long as the line is good!)
8. DO NOT INTRODUCE YOURSELF AT THE START OF YOUR AUDITION. I CAN SEE YOUR USERNAME, I KNOW WHO YOU ARE. JUST GET STRAIGHT INTO IT! (Lol, but seriously, this is a time waster, for one audition it's ok...but after 2 it starts to get annoying, so please, get straight in there with your audition and don't spend time making a bad impression with an introduction that is not needed!)
I think that's everything! Good luck! We'll see if your FATES land you in a cast role.

Thank you all for the amazing auditions! Still a few more to cast! Some roles have been closed and cast or reserved for VA's offsite. However, there are still a lot of open roles still to cast! If there is a role open that you auditioned for and it has not been cast, fret not! I'm still making my decision regarding some of the roles!

Casting Date - June 10th
Hey! Thanks to everyone who auditioned! Roles will be cast on June 10th. Be sure to have a Discord and email address! -
Deadline Extension!
Hey! There have been a LOT of really good auditions! However, I'm just going to extend the deadline by a little bit! On the 9th of June I will cast some, hopefully all, roles. Keep on auditioning! DM me for feedback! Good luck!
In line with his position as the direct successor to the helm of Hoshido, Ryoma cuts a figure of calm collectedness, keenly scrupulous as he rigorously analyses the innumerable situations that he finds himself mired in before finalizing any decisions. This greatly contributes to this aura of charisma and wisdom that he is known to exude, one that sees many turning to him for his sagely advice in his support conversations. Adept in the art of war, this, combined with his shrewd sense of insight and intelligence, has helped Ryoma to lead the Hoshidan army to victory in the campaigns that they have participated in. Further complementing his astute skill as a battle tactician is that of his skill with the sword, one that is regarded to be unparalleled throughout the kingdom of Hoshido. In his spare time, Ryoma often meditates to keep himself calm.
"We face a difficult road ahead. Will you fight with me in the next battle?"
"I feel stronger than usual. Justice will be served today!"
“For the glory of Hoshido...!”
“You deserve WORSE!”
Voice I’m looking for; something deep to medium pitch. Optional British-English accent, otherwise sound upper class and posh.
Xander embodies strong patriotism and fealty to his country of Nohr, one that is expected of his title as Crown Prince. He is the first to charge onto the battlefield for the sake of glory to Nohr and any order of King Garon given to him is completed with utmost perfection, even when Xander may not completely agree with its intentions as he believes that the ends will justify the means. His obedience also is under a belief that achieving his father's plans will revert him to his original, kinder self that he remembers from his childhood
"I feel invigorated today. Please, give me the chance to show you what I'm made of.“
"You did well today, Corrin. If you ever need guidance, I'm here for you."
"No mercy!“
“Begone, wretch!”
Takumi becomes possessed during parts of the story, while possessed his voice becomes dark and seething.
Constantly overshadowed by the talents of his older siblings, Takumi is thus, understandably, sometimes portrayed in a state of moody malcontent due to having developed a bit of an inferiority complex that he covers up, keenly desiring to receive recognition without being framed by the achievements of Ryoma and Hinoka. This fact alone serves as a strength and a flaw; on one hand, this has spurred Takumi to be immensely diligent in his austere efforts to upgrade his abilities, which have made him a very skilled archer. This fact is evident in his supports with Mozu, where he disproves her doubts over his farming capabilities by tirelessly engaging in manual labor on the field.
“On my honour as a prince of Hoshido, I shall not fall upon a Nohrian's blade!”
[possessed] “I will kill...my enemies...KILL THEM! KILL”
Allow me!"
"Oh, that's IT!"
Azura often sings, so being able to sing is a must!
I’ve uploaded the songs as my audition with Azura’s English VA singing the parts I’d like you to sing!
Voice I’m looking for; an elegant and soft voice, with a medium to high pitch.
Due to the heavy rejection, bullying, and discrimination she faced in her time as a princess in Nohr, and the distrust from some of the people in Hoshido due to said Nohrian ties, Azura developed a reserved and stoic personality, sprouting from her fear of provocation and rejection, only opening up to people she is close to. This stoicism can sometimes cause her to hurt others' feelings without meaning to, like in her support with Elise, though via bluntness rather than naiveté, as she is not afraid of telling someone what she thinks of them, and actually tries to help those she criticizes overcome a flaw or problem by pointing it out to them.
I see... You have to be willing to risk a lot to accomplish something major... I suppose you're right. ...My own mother lost her life protecting Nohr. But I don't think she regretted her choice. She died to protect the ones she loved. I've made up my mind as well. I will follow you down the path you've chosen.
Sing with me a song of birthrights and love
The light scatters to the sky above
Dawn breaks through the gloom, white as a bone
Lost in thoughts all alone
Sing with me a song of conquest and fate
The black pillar cracks beneath its weight
Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone
Lost in thoughts all alone
Camilla's most notable trait is her strong motherly instincts, ones that are very specifically directed towards Corrin. Her brand of care towards them is often excessive to the point of being uncomfortable at various junctures by even members of other armies. Through Camilla's interactions with Corrin, it can be observed that she completely disregards the fact that they are an adult. She chooses to treat them as one would a child, using language that is remarkably juvenile, commonly used when speaking to adolescents. Camilla's actions also prove this fact, as she constantly makes it a point to identify discomforts that Corrin may not necessarily be experiencing in a bid to offer them her assistance. In this regard, she has been known to threaten death upon people whom she perceives will bring Corrin grief.
“Oh, you've come to say hello? Sorry, but I don't have time for you. Now where has my darling Corrin gotten to?”
"Oh, I was just looking for you. Have time for a li'l chat?“
“You’ve been naughty…”
“Say night-night!”
Leo is portrayed as a character who possesses a keen intellect, one that he devotes towards the study of magic and strategy. In this regard, he is known to be diligent and hardworking in honing his expertise to a fine, sharp edge, to the point where he is widely regarded as a genius who is more than capable of flawlessly handling any difficult situation. Further complementing this facet of Leo's personality is the cold demeanor of calm that he assumes, one that he resolutely maintains even in the face of trying situations.
“Nohrian law is blunt on the subject of traitors. There is only one punishment... The sentence is death.”
"Leave everything to me. I can feel my magic energy pulsing through my veins."
“I will erase you!"
"Nothing but cinders."
Felicia has a warm, caring personality, especially towards Corrin. She is steadfastly loyal to them and readily follows them without a moment's hesitation, even fighting against her own tribesmen, her older sister Flora, and her father, Kilma. While typically sweet, she can get feisty if she feels like she is being talked down to, particularly in her supports with Subaki, Saizo and Takumi. Felicia is very clumsy and prone to making mistakes when performing her chores, much to her own embarrassment. Despite this, she strives to become a proper maid, like her sister Flora.
“Lord Corrin! I'm so glad your safe! When I heard that you'd gone missing, I couldn't think about anything else! It wasn't easy, but I made it here and I want to fight!”
"Did you know that I'm from the Ice Tribe of my world? Now you do!"
“
"Here goes nothing!"
"You're just a stain!"
Silas is a very easy-going and selfless young man, indiscriminately expressing a willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. This fact can be derived across the vast majority of his supports; in his A-level support with Charlotte, for one, he insists on discussing the convoluted nature of her adolescence as a means to help her overcome the insecurities that are intrinsic to her personality. His supports with Jakob further sheds light on Silas' altruistic intentions, one that sees him revealing a stark discomfort at playing the role of confidant; when mocked for constantly seeking to aid others, Silas responds by admitting to feeling depressed when listening to their woes, owing to his inability to find the right advice to give them all the time.
“You should know that I have no regrets about taking you outside those walls. Nothing makes me happier than helping you in whatever way I can.”
“Don't take this personally. I'm just following orders from King Garon...”
I will protect my friends!"
"Fall, so that others may live!"
In contrast to his brother Kaze, who is very calm, Saizo is brash and temperamental. He also becomes very frenetic when provoked, experiencing tremendous surges of passion that compel him to behave irrationally. This fact is made particularly evident in Chapter 17 on the Conquest route, where Saizo, guided by his feelings of seething hatred towards Kotaro, blindly throws himself into the heat of battle in a bid to exact vengeance on the man responsible for his father's demise.
“I am Lord Ryoma’s retainer, Saizo. Behold my mastery of explosives!”
“Kaze... I never thought I'd live to see my own brother betray us. As your twin, and a proud ninja serving the great kingdom of Hoshido... I want you to know that I am truly ashamed of you and your actions.”
"You've breathed your last!"
"...Die!"
Despite holding the position of a priest who is expected to represent the values of benevolence and compassion, Azama defies such expectations, as he adopts a demeanour of breezy apathy in his regard of others, heavily employing sardonic wit and dark humour in his speech. Indiscriminate in the disagreeable manner by which he treats people, Azama is known to delight in making biting remarks that induce pronounced discomfort, and even his liege and social superior Hinoka is not spared; through his supports with her, he reveals, albeit rather disturbingly, that her positively charming look of fury and frustration during their first meeting as she fought to preserve her life was what compelled him to rescue her.
“Why must you resort to violence? I really do despise savages...”
“Those who live such a barbaric life do not deserve my mercy. Make peace with your choices, for I am about to send you to your death!”
"Here comes your final reward!"
"The time for mercy has passed!"
Contrary to her antiquated style of speech, Orochi is a rather playful and fun-loving individual. This fact surfaces through the vast majority of her supports, where she delights in teasing her conversational partners, and even those who are portrayed as sombre and grim are not spared. Her supports with Saizo best reveals this, as she persists in attempting to irritate him until she successfully strikes him in his weak spot by reminding him of an embarrassing situation that took place during their childhood. Through this same example, it is evident that Orochi has a tendency for not recognizing the limits of her teasing, to the point where she winds up deriving amusement at the expense of her conversational partners' immense discomfort.
“Hee hee, you're afraid of my magic, aren't you? You should be.”
"OK. Let's hear your latest knock-knock joke. I hope it's good."
"Don't stand in my way!"
"Now you've upset me!"
Kagero is predominantly defined by her fierce loyalty to Ryoma, where she will not hesitate to sacrifice herself in order to preserve his life. According to her supports with Kaze, this loyalty of hers sees her devoting the bulk of her time to training or fulfilling missions, leaving her with little time for leisure.
“As Lord Ryoma’s retainer, it is my duty to follow his every order. He wishes to take you back to Hoshido, and so it must be done.”
"Having nothing to do always makes me restless. Maybe a cup of tea will help...“
"You're already dead!"
"This won't miss!"
Depicted as the stereotypical tomboy, Hana has a terrible sense of self-restraint. This is evidenced through her first appearance on the Birthright route, where she is observed to argue heatedly with Subaki over who "Sakura's best subordinate" is. Hana cares a great deal about Sakura, even holding some resentment for Corrin because their kidnapping caused a great deal of sadness to Sakura. However, she later apologizes to them because it was not by their choice that they were kidnapped. However, in the Conquest route, Hana viciously blames Corrin of being the cause of Sakura's endless crying and sadness and attempts to kill them so they won't hurt Sakura again, but fails.
“As Lady Sakura's lead retainer, it will be my pleasure to take your orders.”
"I always care for my weapons. I take especially good care of my katana."
"Prepare yourself!"
"I got this
Oboro harbors a chronic hatred of Nohr, a fact that stems from the murder of her parents by the hands of Nohrian assassins. This resulted in an involuntary tic that causes her to twist her face into a demonic visage whenever anything related to Nohr is mentioned or shown in her presence. Despite her hatred for Nohrians, Oboro is capable of controlling herself from killing them depending on circumstance; through her C support with Silas, she declines his offer to train with him, attributing her refusal to her not wanting to kill him by accident. Even when she finds out that her parents' murderer was already dead at the hands of Beruka's mentor years ago, she is still capable of reason rather than blind rage, knowing that the chain of hate always ends in tragedy. That said, Oboro is not without the sense to understand that not all Nohrians are evil, like her supports with Niles and Benny, and can clearly tell the difference enough to make civilized conversation and establish friendships and romances with a number of them.
“You're right. I can't stand these Nohrian scum. If they've done ANYTHING to harm our master... I don't know what I'll do.”
"THIS SCUM DOESN'T STAND A CHANCE!!"
"YOU'RE GONNA NEED STITCHES!"
"You are so last season!"
As the self-professed "Hero of Justice", Arthur is known to have made it his life's mission to lend his assistance to one and all who may require it, no matter how trivial or absurd their grievances may be. To this end, he constantly keeps his eyes peeled for people who appear to be in need of help in order to ensure that he is the first person to provide them with the aid they need. This fact is especially explicated through his supports with Elise, where he proclaims his desire to spread happiness to one and all by means of providing aid to everyone who needs it.
“I am who I've always been: Destroyer of Evil, Champion of the Weak! I am Arthur! The Hero of Justice!”
“It's... TEAM UP TIME!”
"You're out of luck, friend!"
"Justice strikes!"
Sadistic, cold and callous, Niles derives pleasure from watching the suffering of others, a fact made plainly evident throughout his supports, where he visibly becomes excited when bearing witness to the pain and discomfort of his conversational partners. These traits of Niles in turn lends to his being an easily agitated individual; through his supports with Arthur, he is observed to, in response to being asked why a wanted criminal like him is permitted to serve a member of royalty, threaten to kill Arthur.
“I am Niles, a retainer to Lord Leo, The enemy looks to be quite angry. Don't worry—it will be my genuine pleasure to make them regret crossing you.”
“Say, that’s a nice face you’ve got there. Would be a shame if someone were to slash it. Let’s have some fun, shall we?”
"You can't hide from me!"
"Oooooh, yes...!"
Charlotte has 2 different personalities,. For her kind side I would like her to have a soft and vert sweet voice. For her true nature, she should have an aggressive and rude voice.
Charlotte is normally perceived as a cordial, authentic girl by most men who interact with her, though she can be quite flirtatious and forward during her courting attempts. However, behind their backs, she is brutish, rough, and potent. She is a ferocious fighter and loves throwing herself into battle without a thought of danger, but tries her best to keep these impulses in check around men. She interacts with her "kind" personality when speaking with men as she has received negative reactions when she showed her true personality to them, which badly affected her self-esteem and led her to believe that she would never be really loved. Her facade does not work all the time however; Xander, Odin and Jakob are able to see through it and Kaze is seemingly unaffected by it. The only male character she does not put up a facade for is Benny, as she feels she can be open with him. In fact, her in her support conversations with him, she actually expresses relief that she can drop the act with him (so long as there's no one else around). Charlotte is particularly skilled in barehanded combat, as Xander notes her skill when she takes down a Faceless without any weapons and was able to fell a tree with a single punch in her support with Corrin. Charlotte also dislikes flattery
[kind side] “OF COURSE we're here to help you. I'm a delicate flower, but I know how to battle.”
[true nature] “Ugh, I have better things to do. Why'd you have to invade today?”
true nature]
You're nobody!"
"I'm gonna tear you in half
Peri mostly acts like a spoiled child, crying very easily when upset and will lash out violently. Such feelings stems from the murder of her mother by a servant when Peri was young. Peri's father's general apathy toward her violently injuring servants further stunted her sense of morality, escalating to her outright murdering anyone she feels has wronged her. To further her childish behavior, in the Japanese version, Peri often refers to herself in the third-person, a trait usually expressed by young Japanese children or adults portrayed as childish.
“I'm Peri! P for pulverize, E for eviscerate, R for ruin, and I for impale! Kee hee!”
“I'm gonna bring your guts back to Lord Xander! Teeheehee!”
"There's blood in your eye!"
"I'm feeling stabby!"
Beruka, raised as an assassin committed to executing her cold-blooded duties with no emotion, generally comes off as very cold, stoic, unfeeling and distant. As a result of her upbringing, she is thus chronically incapable of expressing her emotions and understanding the intentions of others, a fact that is expounded upon throughout the support conversations that she shares with various characters. Beruka's supports with Corrin, for one, see her coldly responding to their attempts to befriend her with suspicion and distrust. Her S support with Leo also advances this fact, where she, in response to his marriage proposal, expresses confusion over the warm feelings of love that she finds herself harbouring for him.
“I'll kill them all. For Lady Camilla.”
“Do you need someone taken care of? Sorry, I mean "taken care of".”
"You won't survive this!"
"Finishing the mission!"
Reina is primarily depicted as a bloodthirsty individual who relishes the chaos of warfare, harbouring a morbid fascination with hearing the screams and cries of agony emitted by her foes. This fact is exemplified in Chapter 11 of Revelation, where she remarks that the placement of the trees forms the perfect acoustics that allow her to better enjoy the last words uttered by her foes. Through her supports with Corrin, a completely different side to Reina's personality is revealed, one that starkly acts as a foil to the sadistic demeanour that she adopts on the battlefield. Away from the battlefield, Reina adopts a motherly demeanour as she dotingly cares for her allies to provide them comfort from the chaos of warfare.
“This type of battle is like a playground to me. Oh, I wish you could have seen some of the work I did on the way here. The depth of agony was palpable. And the palette of violent reds...so vivid. Mmm...”
"My dear, is there anything I can provide you with?“
I will extinguish you!"
"Cry out in pain!"
Scarlet is depicted as a character who refuses to bow down to conventions that she disagrees with, choosing instead to live life on her own beliefs and rules. This fact alone is precisely what motivates her into spearheading the Chevois rebellion effort, the result of her inability to continue tolerating the oppressive rule of King Garon.
“So please, wipe that sad look off your face. We're going to kick some butt!”
“I won't let Nohr oppress my people any longer. For freedom!”
"You went and got me mad!"
"You're in trouble now!"
Iago is a cruel, dishonorable, uncomplimentary and manipulative schemer, showing no hesitation to employ any method he deems necessary to achieve his goals, even if they are lacking in sound morals. He is also known to be an individual of sadistic tendencies, reveling in the agony of others, especially if their suffering happens to be the result of his plans. Arrogant and egoistic to a fault, Iago believes his intelligence to be unrivaled, although this belief of his is ironically contrasted by the stark failure of the vast majority of the plans that he crafts. Iago is, ultimately, a deceitful coward who abuses power for personal gain.
“The time has come to shuffle off your mortal coil... Tremble now at the sight of my power. That of Nohr's greatest tactician. The dread mage Iago!”
“King Garon's grand plans must be accomplished no matter what. I'll strike down anyone in the way, be they royal blood or common peasants. The future holds no place for any of you!”
“GAAAAH!! This can't...be happening! How could I lose?! King Garon, please...save...me...”
Contrary to his serene appearance and status as a noble, Izana is extremely flamboyant, peppering his speech with unusual phrases and overall excitable charm. He enjoys throwing parties for even the simplest of things, as on Birthright he asks Corrin to stay for a party for saving him (even though he stayed in a luxurious cell). He is also concerned with his appearance, as he is a five-time winner of the Best Hair Award in Izumo. This is supported in his epilogue, where the war prevented him from winning anymore awards, and despite hosting lavish parties and vacations, was upset about this. The fact that he is also recruited by upgrading the Hot Springs to the highest level also supports this fact.
“Oh ancient gods....what's up?”
“Well, well! Long time, no seemly behavior! Remember me? Of course you do! But why am I here, you must be pondering? Well, I got to thinking. I should 'do my part for hair everywhere! So I decided to fight by your side... and I was suddenly here! It's so kind of you to welcome me so warmly to Team Corrin”
Oh ho! Corrin! I've just been polishing this crystal ball. So shiny!"
On the surface, Zola is a cowardly man, willing to deceive others and dutifully obeying the commands of those who wield great power over him. He is willing to do whatever it takes in order to attain the desires of those whom he has pledged his allegiance to, going so far as taking Sakura as a hostage in order to ensure his continued survival. Without the watchful rule of a superior over him, Zola is pitifully weak, incapable of making calculated decisions for the sake of subsistence.
“Ah, I see you're ready to die. I'm going to enjoy this!”
“Why are you fighting this?! I am not your enemy, those Hoshidans are! I act only for the glory of Nohr! Why is this happening? WHY?!”
“Mwe-hehehehe! You can't possibly defeat me!”
