Fire Emblem Awakening: The Fandub
Project Overview
Welcome all voice actors and actresses alike! Welcome to the casting call for Fire Emblem Awakening: The Fandub.
Good Microphone Quality. Now, I'm definitely not asking for a $3000 dollar microphone, but as long as we can hear your voice clearly with minimal background noise, you're golden.
You will need some form of communication. If it's Skype, Discord or Email, doesn't full matter. Though Discord will mostly likely be the general communication form, due to how organised it is and easy to connect with others.
Be able to send in lines before a deadline. Deadlines are put in place for a reason, if you are not able to make them on a regular basis, you will have to be removed from the group.
A good attitude. This fandub is for fun! So having fun and getting along with fellow VAs is important.
A maximum of 3 Characters per Actor. You are free to audition for as many characters as you would like, but be aware you will only be cast for 3 in the final project.
When you are logged in, you can comment, add submissions, create projects, upvote, search open roles, and way more. Login here.

I.. I love you, you bastard. There, I said it! Now, don't ask me again.
Virion may sometimes come off as a coward, but he can actually be quite noble at times. He's a shameless flirt, but has no bad intentions. Spends more time looking in the mirror more than anyone else.
Am I not a thing of beauty?
See how well I polished my equipment? The bards shall sing of Virion's legendary shine!
I love you, no, I am enamored with you, no, we are soulmates! Oooh, the sultry sonnets we shall spin!

When did I get so... well versed?
My lady, I may never take my eyes off you again! ...Unless I'm about to run into a wall.
Vaike possesses an abnormally inflated ego, a fact that is bolstered by him constantly referring to himself as Teach. Often times, this ego of his is unjustified, as its constant overclouding of his judgement sees him incapable of comprehending why things never quite go the way that he envisions.
Teach just did 10 sit-ups and didn't even break a sweat. Oh yeah!
Heh! The Vaike just got a lot Vaiker!
This has gotta be the first time I've ever rated someone else first! Is this... love? The Vaike is STUNNED!
Miriel is a perfectionist who cannot stand having even a single book out of place in the Shepherd's garrison. She is especially harsh when berating anyone who behaves thoughtlessly. An embodiment of efficiency, Miriel keeps track of everything in the army, making sure everything is up to code.
Ah, contentment. I have finally organized my personal library by author and subject.
Propitious growth, if I may say so.
What rapture... to have an astute significant other with whom to scrutinize this world's illimitable mysteries!
Sumia is a klutzy individual, prone to small mishaps. In fact, her clumsiness is so bad that she trips over nothing more than anyone in the Shepherds, much to her embarassment. Because of this, she feels that she is sometimes unsuited for her job but still does her best whenever she can.
You can learn a lot about this world from a pegasus's back. I see new things every day.
Could it be true that pegasus feathers are the key to divining the future...?
It's so nice to feel special for once... to love someone more than anything in the world, and have them love me back.

You know, we should take on more foes together.
I-I confess... I do have feelings for... gods, must all these emotions be so vexing?
Ricken is one of the youngest members of Chrom's Shepherds, and acts as the mascot of the group. Ricken's family was of noble stature until they lost much of their wealth.
I tried frying some fish with my Fire tome. Modern men should know how to cook!
Do I look any taller? I hope so.
I wish I could throw my arms around you and never let go! Just wait for me to get a little taller...Ok?
Maribelle is a typical noblewoman, trained in the classical and finer arts of the higher ranks in society. Ironically, this has sparked within her an interest in the "plebeian" lifestyles of the common citizenry of Ylisse, in turn motivating her aspiration to become a magistrate that fosters equal rights between both the nobility and the common folk alike.
I want to be a big, hairy barbarian! ...Ugh, laugh, would you? It's a joke.
I managed some additional practice. I'm not afraid of a little extra work.
My lord... you saw to the very core of my heart. And may the gods help you if you break it.
Panne is a cool woman with a strong sense of duty and pride for her people. Panne distrusts humans for the genocide of her people, leaving her as the last Taguel. As such she refers to any human who has not earned her respect as "man-spawn".
Despite our history, I never hated mankind. The exalt proved your race's worth. Until man-spawn slaughtered my people and put my warren to ruin, that is.
Humans do seem more comfortable around me when I pretend to have buck teeth...
To think that I might love a human... what a strange world this is...
Gaius is calm and collected, with a clear mind. However, his seriousness breaks whenever candy and other sweet confections are brought into the question. Despite the nature of his job, Gaius has morals and does things with the best interest of others, such as his unwillingness to assassinate Emmeryn because he likes her, or blaming Maribelle's father for his theft incident to protect Maribelle.
"Candies"? As in, sugar candies?
I snuck in some practice, but I could use a sugar boost in a big bad way.
Baby, you're a river of chocolate in an ocean of cream. I'm gonna steal your heart on a daily basis.
Cordelia is considered to be a genius who can do most things flawlessly; though she hates being referred to as such, mainly because it reminds her of being teased by her seniors, who called her a genius many times in a hazing manner. However, in actuality, it is because Cordelia realized that her comrades truly meant it, proven when they sacrificed themselves so that Cordelia could escape and thus would be their legacy.
I just finished my copy of "Make Him Fall for You in a Fortnight." So embarrassing...
There. Now I must do it again.
Thank you... I thought nothing could warm my heart again. I shall love you above...all others...for the rest of my days.

Nowi, despite her true age, mostly acts like a child, but this is revealed to be a deliberate act to cheer others up which in turn shows how mature she truly is. She loves playing outside and is always looking for a playmate, though she explains to Nah that her constant playing around also serves as her training regimen.
I made a new dragon friend! His name was... Banta? ...Banter?! Wait, what was it...?
Wanna fight together next time? I bet we'd make a dangerous duo.
Oh, I'm so happy! I've always wanted a husband! Think of all the wonderful centuries-- uh, years we'll have!
Libra is a kind man who presents as stoic and patient, almost to the point of being oracular; as a result of this, he puts others at ease and is very trustworthy. However, Libra is also somewhat detached from others and himself, feeling that his being a priest is only a substitution for a real identity, compounded by his odd habits that confuse others.
Alas, there were. I lost many brave comrades along the way. In truth, I was starting to doubt the purpose of my struggle...
I've offered up a few prayers for our safety.
I'm yours forever, my love. May the gods smile upon our union, and bring us joy in the years to come.
Tharja is a rather cold individual, usually threatening to curse them if they stand in the way of her plans of gaining the Avatar's affections. Despite Tharja's grim personality around others, she is capable of loving another person, though her love for the Avatar still takes a higher priority in the end.
And I have a bit of a rebellious streak, I'm afraid. A...dark side.
Death comes for all of us eventually. Why invite it early, fighting for a cause I don't believe in?
Ahh… I can’t believe you made me love you! Course, if you back out… I’ll murder you in your sleep.
Anna is shown having a little more willingness to use slightly shady tactics to sell their goods. However, she will only go so far for a profit and even regret using those tactics. For any Avatar who marries her, they quickly find out that her love of money remains more than her love of them, but she still shows that she loves them nonetheless.
Hello there, handsome! Am I being rescued?
I snuck in some practice. I need to be able to slash brigands AND prices!
Keep this up and someday I may love you more than money! Haha... no, seriously.
Olivia is extremely shy and withdrawn, but a dancing genius with many fans across the lands. She states to Chrom that she is only good at dancing, which even then, she feels she is inadequate in doing, mostly due to her stage fright.
It would honor me to have a part in giving her justice! Although all I can do is dance... And I’m not so skilled at that, if we’re being honest.
Dreams are easy to chase, but hard to catch. What do you dream about?
I've been in love with you forever... I only wish I had the courage to tell you sooner!
Cherche is a domestic woman raised on simple values who is good at cooking and sewing, in contrast to her vicious wyvern. This is because, despite being just a knight at first, Virion's particular fondness of her led to her duties being combined with those of a servant, with the pressure and suspicion of others forcing her to balance both her attitude and skills in the process.
Might I join, sire? This may not be my country, but it is my cause.
Why so cheerful? Did you stumble upon a cute little caterpillar?
Hm, it's funny, being close like this just feels...right. It's as if it was always meant to be.
Henry almost always has a smile on his face, and is unusually cheerful. He has strong love for battles, dark magic and blood, which gives a jarring contrast to the cheerful personality he presents to others.
We all need a dream worth dying for. Or a death worth dreaming about! What's yours?
Ooh! Put spikes on it! Make it something brutal!
I'll love you with every ounce of my blood, till I die. Ooh... when do you think that'll be?
A princess of Chon'sin, Say'ri seems different from the people of Ylisse and has an old fashioned look, which matches her manner of speech. She has a strong personality and always gets to the point.
I owe my life to you all, and to my brother...I swear to you and him...I will make the most of it.
I have taken up the study of politics. I must do all that I can to help lead my people.
(Giggles) To think my greatest joy would be found within this chaos, your heart and mine shall be bound forever.
Tiki has matured significantly, where she is much more calm and serene, although small glimpses of her childish past emerge (particularly when seeing her beloved, but long-departed, "Mar-Mar" through Lucina and the male Avatar). She aspires to preserve the memory of her long departed friends, vowing to protect the future that they had fought for as she does so.
I do as much as I can. Walks, cooking... I never know when my next sleep will come.
At 3,000, it gets harder to learn new things...
I know that to love another, I must watch the world move past him. But such short years make an eternity worth living.
Despite his time as the ruler of Ferox, Basilio often enjoyed leaving the castle for entertainment, as seen in his support conversations with the male Avatar. He is also a heavy drinker, as shown with some pre-battle dialogue and a conversation between him and Walhart where he states that he is the "Walking Cask of Ferox".
What are your dreams? You should think of these things while you're young!
Take a leaf out of THIS book, sprogs!
Just think of all the fun times we're gonna have! All the battles! Heh, I'm gonna make you proud!
She is a brave, heroic, strong-minded woman, like a reliable big sister. She is a hero of women who yields to no man, but treats her opponents equally no matter who they are. She has a side of her that pays attention to her surroundings and has an attention to detail.
For the sake of history and all our fallen comrades... We will bring this empire crashing down!
Some thugs picked their last fight with me. What kind of strumpet did they take me for?
In the name of Regna Ferox, I'll tear the whole world down if you but ask it of me. That's a Khan's promise.
Lucina is a strong willed and driven woman who is determined to alter the dark future she came from. Due to the countless deaths and horrific events of the future, she dislikes any form of death, even "noble" ones. Her main motivations come from her love for her parents, especially Chrom. Lucina is willing to do whatever it takes to see that Chrom stays alive, even if it means going against her wish for no needless deaths. Nevertheless, she is obedient to Chrom and puts her trust in her father's judgements, showing a strong bond of trust with her father.
I choose to fight as Lucina now. The name that reminds me of the strength in the man and woman who chose it.
What are you smiling about? Did you see me break the training dummies again?
I love you. And no matter what the future holds, I'm going to cherish every moment.
Described as a "colourful" character by Lucina, Owain has a habit of speaking in an overly theatrical fashion that some people find tiresome to deal with. He is somewhat preoccupied with the idea of being a hero and seeks the fabled sword Missiletainn in his quest, unaware that it is not the Mystletainn, but just a normal sword.
The blade of legend and song... I feel its power coursing through me!
I hereby dub my weapon 'Shadowdarkness.' Yes...it will be a fitting brand.
You eluded my defenses and pierced my heart! It seems I've finally found...my weakness.
In the future, Inigo was shy, much like his mother, Olivia. However, Olivia wished to help him overcome his shyness by having him talk to girls. Unfortunately, this made him a womanizer in the long run.
I will not rest until every woman in the realm swoons at just hearing my name!
What do you dream about? People like us should share these things!
I used to say this to all the ladies, but you're truly the only one for me.
Contrary to his noble heritage, Brady is portrayed as an individual who initially takes on the appearance of a knavish thug, complete with crude, unpolished mannerisms and a face transfixed in a menacing leer. This is, however, nothing more than a facade that Brady employs in order to mask the true vulnerability of his character, where he is, in a rather antithetical vein, excessively sentimental and emotional, prone to frequent bouts of crying fits; alongside being markedly sensitive, empathetic and finely attuned to the feelings of others.
Aw, come on, Ma! That's harsh! Sure, I'm not the prettiest guy around, but I'm no thug, and I AM your son!
Let's try takin' on the enemy as a team. I can put up a fight, too!
You make me wanna be stronger...better! I swear to become a guy worthy of your love!
Kjelle is just as tomboyish as her mother. She has a kind heart and is protective of others, but tends to look down on weakness. She loves sparring, and if she sees someone who has ability, she will challenge him or her regardless of social standing.
If someone's stronger than me, they get my respect. And if they're weaker than me, I don't waste my time. That's all I'm saying...
I was just thinking you would make a worthy training partner.
With you at my side, I feel as strong as newly-forged steel. I...I adore you.
Describing herself as a snarky individual, Severa possesses a barbed tongue that she freely uses to speak in a cold, harsh and condescending manner to the people she interacts with. Despite her rudeness, she is known to have the tendency to mean the opposite of what she says, a fact that is often not detected by those who are already put off by her initial attitude.
You can die quickly if you don't shut up! Now stop wasting your breath. I'm not the sort of floozy to swoon over a cowpile of trite flattery.
I found this book "Make Him Fall for You in a Fortnight." Who reads this stuff?!
I...I love you... Hey, pay attention for once, and say something sweet, why don't cha!
Gerome thinks meddling with the past is not a great idea and that destiny cannot be changed. However, he ends up joining Chrom's army anyways, perhaps still holding onto a sliver of hope that they can avert the apocalyptic future that he lived in.
I'm not fit to fight for anyone.
Just money for Minerva’s food will do. She eats five times as much as other wyverns.
From today onward we’ll hone our edges, together. We’ll carve a path to happiness through whatever fate may bring.
Morgan is similar to the Avatar, having amnesia when they are introduced, though they remember the Avatar at least and their goal of becoming a tactician like they are. Morgan has a childish enthusiasm and is quick to play with others. They have a certain level of innocence and have an optimistic outlook of life, willing to see everything good about the world rather than the bad.
There is one other thing I remember. I've always strived to become a great tactician like you. And even though this war is terrible, at least now I can learn from you firsthand.
How would you feel about joining forces in the next battle?
Mother, I’ve studied up. We should train together and see whose strategy prevails!
I'm in fantastic form today! I just hope I can put it to good use
I managed to sneak in some practice. Maybe there is still hope for me to be a tactician!
I've got your back.
Yarne is incredibly cowardly, timid and excessively worried, since his "Last Taguel" status makes him scared that if he dies, the Taguel will become extinct. In addition, he constantly fears that if his father cheats on Panne, he'll cease to exist, which he is also afraid of. Yarne also is afraid of anything, ranging from the enemy to insignificant things. He often tries to find a safe place to be in, such as being allied behind strong people or an area with no hazards at all. Like his mother, Panne, Yarne is able to detect friend or foe from a distance, as shown in a support with the female Avatar.
Gyah! D-don't surprise me like that! I could die of heart failure!
The future was the same as now, as far as I'm concerned - death around every corner! And I would climb trees or dig holes to get away from it. When you think about it, I've gotten a lot braver. Now, I actually stand and fight!
I love you! Let's repopulate my species! ...Uh, sorry. Was that awkward...?
Laurent can be a bit cold and callous, much like his mother, as he inherited his mother's incredible academic prowess. While Miriel's scientific inquiries are focused in theory and discovering natural laws, Laurent tends to find practical applications for the subjects he studies, such as making the world's first fireworks in a support conversation with Miriel.
Excellent! Your comprehension spared me the botheration of further explication.
I dream of becoming a true scholar - one who can sort the truth from the legends.
You've been an object of fascination since I first saw you—one I would gladly spend my life investigating.
n the past, Cynthia was very girly and hated violence, but with the death of her mother, Cynthia discarded these aspects in order to learn how to be a hero. Cynthia continues to be a bright and energetic person despite her change in personality. She admires heroes and studies dramatic entrances to become a hero herself.
I AM CYNTHIA! I FLOAT LIKE A LEAF AND STING LIKE A NETTLE!
My life in the future? Well, I cared for Mother’s pegasus after she...you know. And I trained hard and learned how to fight!
I love you best of all! You're like my own personal hero!
Noire tries to seek approval from her mother due to lack of skill with casting hexes. In the future she was used as a guinea pig for her mother's curses, and has developed a cowardly and negative personality. She has something of a split personality that is more brash and aggressive that she refers to as her "inner demon"; it seems to be a result from a talisman, a gift from her mother from the future to deal with her meek and shy personality.
I AM BLOOD AND THUNDER! I AM A RIGHTEOUS FURY! ...I AM YOUR FUTURE DAUGHTER!
Ack! What is this? An enemy trap? A curse from my mother?!
You fill me with this strength I never thought to have. Please stay with me always.
In contrast to her mother, Nah tries to be mature for her age and is accustomed to controlling her emotions. This is more so considering that Manaketes mature physically and psychologically slower compared to humans. On the other hand, her supports with other characters like Gerome and Inigo seem to display her more childish, possessive traits. She is constantly training to become stronger and useful, feeling that she might be outcasted for being a Manakete-Human hybrid.
I have to be strong. Everyone expects me to. I can turn into a dragon, you know? So I have to put on a brave face and protect everyone, just like you do.
No, NAH. N-A-H. That's my name.
Look, it's gonna be you. Better just give up and accept it now.
