Chrom is a direct and committed person, unflinchingly charging forward to achieve what he believes in. He is protective of his sisters, especially Emmeryn, but, despite his protests, never argues with Emmeryn's final decisions. Chrom deeply cares for Lissa's well-being as well, making sure to take care of her while they are off at war.

*Chrom has a very stern voice but can be relaxed around friends*

Lucina is a strong willed and driven woman who is determined to alter the dark future she came from. Due to the countless deaths and horrific events of the future, she dislikes any form of death, even "noble" ones. Her main motivations come from her love for her parents, especially Chrom. Lucina is willing to do whatever it takes to see that Chrom stays alive, even if it means going against her wish for no needless deaths. Nevertheless, she is obedient to Chrom and puts her trust in her father's judgements, showing a strong bond of trust with her father.

*Like Chrom she has a stern voice, however she is more prone to clumsiness and has no sense of humor*

Lissa initially comes across as an individual who looks upon the world with a naïve, simplistic outlook, a fact that is compounded by her seemingly spoiled and immature behavior. This is evidenced from her supports with both the Avatar and Donnel, where she pulls lighthearted pranks on the former, and becomes visibly upset when the latter displays an intellect superior to hers. In a rather conflicting light, Lissa is embarrassed of these traits of hers, as she perceives them as unbecoming of a noble lady. She has become rather insecure over her character as a whole, where she not just laments over her unladylike mannerisms, but also tries to emulate her sister. These quirks and flaws are, however, offset by her exuberant, optimistic attitude, one that is deemed crucial for boosting the army’s morale by Chrom. This is further bolstered by Lissa’s compassion, where her willingness to indiscriminately help anyone and befriend all whom she meets, as is the case with her friendship with Maribelle.

Frederick is extremely serious and has a no nonsense personality. He is a skeptic which has earned him the nickname "Frederick the Wary" from Chrom. He is very patient, dealing with Lissa's antics and Chrom's reckless behavior to no end, but Frederick cares for Chrom, Lissa, and Emmeryn, feeling the need to protect and serve them at all costs.

Frederick has a very stern sounding voice.

In a manner that is heavily reminiscent of the most masculine of men, Sully possesses a personality that is characterised by a spirited zealousness, brimming with self-confidence and passion - a fact that has caused her to be regarded as being cooler than most men, earning her the admiration of many a woman in Ylisse.

Sully has a very stern voice much like Frederick, but it's a deep female voice.

Virion is somewhat detached from the world. While he acts friendly, his words and actions leave his grace and refinement somewhat unclear. Although coming off as a coward, he can actually be quite noble at times, as is the case in a multitude of his supports.

Virion has a very rich and noble voice, one that reeks of nobility.

Stahl has a gentle and trusting personality and is one of the few who has common sense. Though he is scatterbrained and acts a bit silly from time to time, he is very attentive, kind to others and has a big heart. His supports with the Avatar and Maribelle reveal that he is very good at reading people, often knowing what they want before they say it.

Stahl is a pretty child guy and has a pretty calm and collected voice

Vaike possesses an abnormally inflated ego, a fact that is bolstered by him constantly referring to himself as Teach.
Often times, this ego of his is unjustified, as its constant overclouding of his judgment sees him incapable of comprehending why things never quite go the way that he envisions.

Miriel is a perfectionist who cannot stand having even a single book out of place in the Shepherd's garrison. She is especially harsh when berating anyone who behaves thoughtlessly. An embodiment of efficiency, Miriel keeps track of everything in the army, making sure everything is up to code. In fact, she is efficient enough to keep her own possessions in order, even though she has the most possessions out of everyone in the army.

Miriel has a calm and collected voice, though often it is quite indifferent.

Sumia is a klutzy individual, prone to small mishaps. In fact, her clumsiness is so bad that she trips over nothing more than anyone in the Shepherds, much to her embarrassment. Because of this, she feels that she is sometimes unsuited for her job but still does her best whenever she can

She has a calm but unconfidant voice

Kellam is a frontline fighter of Chrom's Shepherds and is one of the biggest and tallest units in the army. Despite this, he virtually goes unnoticed. Most of the army considers him a "ghost", as his supports with the Avatar show that the other members wonder why there is always an extra cup or seat lying around when everyone is supposedly accounted for.

Donnel is a typical village boy "from the sticks" and is unaccustomed to life outside of his village. Though he was hesitant to ever enter battle, Donnel musters enough courage to stand up for himself and eventually join Chrom's army. His speech is vastly different compared to the rest of the army, speaking with a southern-farmer accent, saying phrases such as "git 'r done!".

Donnel has a southern accent.

He has a cool personality and tends to keep things to himself. His way of talking is direct and somewhat unwieldy, likely from his lack of social grace or his foreign origins of Chon'sin.

Due to the events in his childhood involving Ke'ri, Lon'qu developed gynophobia out of fear of having another woman who becomes too close to him get killed. As a result of his gynophobia, he often gets nervous when speaking with female members of the army; his Event Tile conversations with a female member also support this.

His voice is very stern like Fredericks but less proper.

As one of the youngest members of Chrom's army, Ricken is a typical child, yet he hates being treated as such. However, Ricken seeks to grow up as quickly as possible, but mostly physically as he's overly sensitive about his height. Despite his young age he is quite studious, able to learn and grow from everyone in the army and soon realizes that he's growing up in his own way. He's worried about his family since his motivations to remain in Chrom's Army is to bring his family back to good stature. He also looks up to Chrom as his role model and constantly tries to prove his worth.

His has a preteenish voice

Maribelle is a typical noblewoman, trained in the classical and finer arts of the higher ranks in society. Ironically, this has sparked within her an interest in the "plebeian" lifestyles of the common citizenry of Ylisse, in turn motivating her aspiration to become a magistrate that fosters equal rights between both the nobility and the common folk alike.

Maribelle has a very sophisticated and noble way of speaking.

Panne is a cool woman with a strong sense of duty and pride for her people. Panne distrusts humans for the genocide of her people, leaving her as the last Taguel. As such she refers to any human who has not earned her respect as "man-spawn".

Panne's voice is open to interpretation.

Gaius is calm and collected, with a clear mind. However, his seriousness breaks whenever candy and other sweet confections are brought into the question. Despite the nature of his job, Gaius has morals and does things with the best interest of others, such as his unwillingness to assassinate Emmeryn because he likes her, or blaming Maribelle's father for his theft incident to protect Maribelle.

Gaius has a very sly and chill way of speaking.

Cordelia is considered to be a genius who can do most things flawlessly; though she hates being referred to as such, mainly because it reminds her of being teased by her seniors, who called her a genius many times in a hazing manner. However, in actuality, it is because Cordelia realized that her comrades truly meant it, proven when they sacrificed themselves so that Cordelia could escape and thus would be their legacy. She is aware of her prodigious talents and as a result is seen as a prideful individual.

She has a stern but sometimes playful voice

He has a friendly and refreshing personality, though he has an unusual accent and speech patterns. Despite his mature appearance, he is surprisingly easy to hurt, getting depressed whenever people harp on him about his age. He speaks in third person with a Russian accent in the English version. Gregor's age blesses him with fighting skills that even impresses Lon'qu.

Nowi, despite her true age, mostly acts like a child, but this is revealed to be a deliberate act to cheer others up which in turn shows how mature she truly is. She loves playing outside and is always looking for a playmate, though she explains to Nah that her constant playing around also serves as her training regimen.

She is over a thousand years old but has a preteenish voice.

Libra is a kind man who presents as stoic and patient, almost to the point of being oracular; as a result of this, he puts others at ease and is very trustworthy. However, Libra is also somewhat detached from others and himself, feeling that his being a priest is only a substitution for a real identity, compounded by his odd habits that confuse others.

Though he is man, his voice sounds quite feminine.

Tharja comes off as a stalker due to her unhealthy obsession with the Avatar, regardless of their gender. She even values the Avatar's life more than her own and usually acts quite amorously around them. She is willing to do whatever it takes to win their affections, even if it means changing her whole personality to suit their taste.

She has a seductive yet dark type of voice

*Description mention's other games* The original Anna appeared quite whimsical, keeping her shop secret because that is what makes it secret. Anna was not judgmental about other nationalities. Despite Archanea's enmity with Grust, she has a close relationship with the Grustian Jake, with whom she shares a love of travel. She is even engaged to Jake in Genealogy of the Holy War and talks of having children. While Anna is usually very lighthearted, she is shown to occasionally worry about Jake.

Her voice is one of confidence and calm, like a female conman.

Olivia is extremely shy and withdrawn, but a dancing genius with many fans across the lands. She states to Chromthat she is only good at dancing, which even then, she feels she is inadequate in doing, mostly due to her stage fright. She can summon more of her strength than usual for the sake of others, being judgemental and pushy in the process. Her dream is to open her own theatre. She is the best singer in the army.

She has a very shy and timid voice

Cherche is a domestic woman raised on simple values who is good at cooking and sewing, in contrast to her vicious wyvern. This is because, despite being just a knight at first, Virion's particular fondness of her led to her duties being combined with those of a servant, with the pressure and suspicion of others forcing her to balance both her attitude and skills in the process.

She had a well defined voice like Virion, but less proper.

Henry almost always has a smile on his face, and is unusually cheerful. He has strong love for battles, dark magic and blood, which gives a jarring contrast to the cheerful personality he presents to others.

He has a very energetic but dark voice.

A princess of Chon'sin, Say'ri seems different from the people of Ylisse and has an old fashioned look, which matches her manner of speech. She has a strong personality and always gets to the point.

She has a Germanic voice from what I can gather.

She aspires to preserve the memory of her long departed friends, vowing to protect the future that they had fought for as she does so. However, Tiki laments that all of her friends from long ago have long passed while she remains alive, and at the same time, is well aware that those feelings will happen again when the Shepherds eventually meet the same fate as Marth's army.

She has a preteenish voice however she is quite mature.

Despite his time as the ruler of Ferox, Basilio often enjoyed leaving the castle for entertainment, as seen in his support conversations with the male Avatar. He is also a heavy drinker, as shown with some pre-battle dialogue and a conversation between him and Walhart where he states that he is the "Walking Cask of Ferox".

He has a very battle hardened voice but enjoys to relax

She is a brave, heroic, strong-minded woman, like a reliable big sister. She is a hero of women who yields to no man, but treats her opponents equally no matter who they are. She has a side of her that pays attention to her surroundings and has an attention to detail.

She has a stern battle hardened voice

Described as a "colorful" character by Lucina, Owain has a habit of speaking in an overly theatrical fashion that some people find tiresome to deal with.

He is very overdramatic with his lines and can be quite energetic

Inigo originally was as shy and withdrawn as his mother. However, due to the advice she gave him to talk to girls, he became outgoing and likes to socialize. Unfortunately this also causes Inigo to flirt with every girl he comes across, though most end up slapping and rejecting him

He has a suave and sway voice

Contrary to his noble heritage, Brady is portrayed as an individual who initially takes on the appearance of a knavish thug, complete with crude, unpolished mannerisms and a face transfixed in a menacing leer. This is, however, nothing more than a facade that Brady employs in order to mask the true vulnerability of his character, where he is, in a rather antithetical vein, excessively sentimental and emotional, prone to frequent bouts of crying fits; alongside being markedly sensitive, empathetic and finely attuned to the feelings of others.

He has a pretty defined voice but usually doesn't show it.

Kjelle is just as tomboyish as her mother. She has a kind heart and is protective of others, but tends to look down on weakness. She loves sparring, and if she sees someone who has ability, she will challenge him or her regardless of social standing.

She has a stern voice much like her mother Sully

In the past, Cynthia was very girly and hated violence, but with the death of her mother, Cynthia discarded these aspects in order to learn how to be a hero. Cynthia continues to be a bright and energetic person despite her change in personality.

She has a very happy and energetic voice

Describing herself as a snarky individual, Severa possesses a barbed tongue that she freely uses to speak in a cold, harsh and condescending manner to the people she interacts with. Despite her rudeness, she is known to have the tendency to mean the opposite of what she says, a fact that is often not detected by those who are already put off by her initial attitude. However, this exterior exists to protect a much more vulnerable side of herself.

She has a very stern yet at times gentle voice.

Gerome thinks meddling with the past is not a great idea and that destiny cannot be changed. However, he ends up joining Chrom's army anyways, perhaps still holding onto a sliver of hope that they can avert the apocalyptic future that he lived in.

He has a emotionless voice that slowly gains emotion through each support

Male Morgan is a bit more mellow (though is still wacky in his own way) and slightly more dorky, and is significantly nicer than his female counterpart, lacking her sadistic streak and being pleasant and helpful with pretty much everybody he talks to, as well as taking seriously several of the future children who are rarely taken seriously, such as Owain. He also has a love of bugs (though as his supports with Noire and a sibling Lucina reveal, this does not extend to roaches, which terrify and gross him out).

He has a teenage voice

Female Morgan tends to be more exuberant and wacky, and at times is shown to be rather insensitive about the feelings of others, and she appears to have something of a sadistic streak, such as when she decides to accompany Inigo on a night of the town solely because she wants to watch him crash and burn with the ladies, as well as when she pulls on Yarne's ears despite his painful protests.

She has a teenage voice with a bit of a sadistic side.

Yarne is incredibly cowardly, timid and excessively worried, since his "Last Taguel" status makes him scared that if he dies, the Taguel will become extinct. In addition, he constantly fears that if his father cheats on Panne, he'll cease to exist, which he is also afraid of.

He has a pretty timid and scared voice but one of confidence as well.

Laurent can be a bit cold and callous, much like his mother, as he inherited his mother's incredible academic prowess. While Miriel's scientific inquiries are focused in theory and discovering natural laws, Laurent tends to find practical applications for the subjects he studies, such as making the world's first fireworks in a support conversation with Miriel.

He has a calm and calculating voice like his mother.

Noire tries to seek approval from her mother due to lack of skill with casting hexes. In the future she was used as a guinea pig for her mother's curses, and has developed a cowardly and negative personality. She has something of a split personality that is more brash and aggressive that she refers to as her "inner demon"; it seems to be a result from a talisman, a gift from her mother from the future to deal with her meek and shy personality.

She has a timid voice but can be loud and angry when her talisman acts up.

In contrast to her mother, Nah tries to be mature for her age and is accustomed to controlling her emotions. This is more so considering that Manaketes mature physically and psychologically slower compared to humans.

She has a teenage voice but tries to act mature

Intially, Gangrel appears to be a bloodthirsty king searching for violence, as he attempted to provoke Ylisse into war with Plegia because he sought to control the continent, even mocking Emmeryn as too kind. Gangrel reveals he hates the world and even his own subject due to his harsh past.

He has a evil kinda of voice even though he does have good in him.

Walhart is an indomitable force, suited for a conqueror, destroying all who stand in his path to glory. He hates losing and turning his back to an enemy more than anything and believes that only through power and calculated ruthlessness can the world be united and usher an era of peace

He has a very stern military type voice

Unlike her warmongering father, Emmeryn is a peace-loving, kind, and forgiving ruler. She detests fighting as much as possible, and always searches to settle matters peacefully, even against people who wish to kill her. She shows a lot of bravery, willing to walk clearly into a dangerous situation that puts her life at risk without a moment's hesitation. She loves her two younger siblings dearly as well as her people, and cares for their well being. Because of this, she makes the ultimate sacrifice for the well being of everyone at the cost of her own life, feeling that one life could save millions.

Sadly, even though she survived her fall, Emmeryn suffered severe brain damage. As a consequence she is left a shell of her former self, unable to recall much of her former exalted life and having a fragmented speech pattern.

She has a timid and confused voice.

He constantly degrades himself for allowing his dear sister to die and stood by and defended her grave as a form of atonement before being thrown into the present timeline. Although he is happy to see that his sister is alive in the current timeline, he cannot bring himself to associate himself with her due to his sorrow. Nevertheless, this Yen'fay still cares deeply for his sister, however much of his motivation is to atone for his weakness and make sure that Say'ri lives a happier life this time.

He talks like his sister but can have traces of guilt.

Aversa is a cruel, manipulative, and cold woman highlighted with her seductive traits. She is fiercely loyal to her superiors, though more so to Validar who supposedly took her in from the streets as an orphan. Due to Validar's brainwashing, she is willing to die for him, and continues serving Grima after his death.

However, after the revelation of her history, Aversa is horrified of what she has done and wishes to atone for her actions by destroying the Grimleal. She is wary of others in the army feeling that they may kill her out of spite from their past battles. She strikes a bond with the Avatar, either forming a rivalry with the Female Avatar or teasing the Male Avatar in a sibling manner.

She has a seductive voice but also can be gentle.

Priam has a great sense of fighting and trains vigorously, albeit excessive way. He has a "training regimen" for everything; making weapons, utilizing chi and even eating. At a young age, he went for his first training regimen and was attacked by a bear. He states that he was able to win due to the energies in the forest that helped him prevail.

He has a confidant swordsman voice
