Project Overview

Introduction

Today marks the 20th anniversary of the release of Final Fantasy IX, which makes today the perfect day to announce I'm putting together a team to recreate the fantastical adventure in Animation! In short, we'll be dubbing the game, then animating it. However, as of right now, this is a experimental project. Meaning we'll finish episode 1, publish it, and based off the response we'll decide whether to continue with the series. I'm hoping if it gains enough traction I can set up a Patreon so I can pay my actors, but that is only a potential possibility and is decided solely by the results.

Requirements for Auditioning:


  1. A decent quality mic(No phones, headphones, or laptop mics. I'm talking USB, XLR mics only please!!)

  2. A willingness to commit: In the event this project does well, we'll proceed to finishing the series. So be prepared for the long haul please!

  3. Have a Discord or easily contactable route(Primary contact will not be held through CCC).


  4. (Optional)Have a Paypal: If this project does succeed, I can begin to pay actors. You can still participate even without one, but you won't be able to be paid...

  • Casted!

    Thank you everyone so much for participating. I cannot express enough just how honored I am. The characters for episode 1 have been casted! Once again, depending on the response the episode gets, episode 2 will be underway, so stick around for that. :) (I definetely have my eyes on a few actors/actresses I'm gonna wanna cast for upcoming roles. ;) ) More updates will come when they do!   • CASTING TIME!

    Hi Everyone! I'd like to begin by thanking everyone once again for all the support towards my project! I wasn't expecting this much, I am truly honored you all have chosen to offer your support toward the project! On to the update, as it is the 8th for me now, the Deadline has come and the time for auditioning has come to a close.   • One Extra WEEK!

    Hi everyone! I'd like to start by thanking EVERYONE who's auditioned on this project o far!! I'm really touched by all the support this project is getting! I'm due to get a new laptop soon, so in wait for said laptop to arrive I'm pushing back the deadline a week. Just a few reminders: I haven't listened to any auditions as of yet, for I'd like to remain unbiased until the deadline(So in case you thought the reason I hadn't commented on your audition was because I didn't like it, that is far from the case.) His voice is completely up to your own interpretations, but keep in mind that he's a teenager so his voice should be fairly young sounding and certain character traits when auditioning a voice.

  • He's laid-back, playful, wise-cracking, flirtatious(with Garnet), fun-loving, often takes on the leadership role and offers others console. All traits of a good hero.

(He was portrayed in other games by the voice actor Bryce Papenbrook. But you don't need to sound like him!)
