Hello all!
I have always wanted to bring some life to those classic JRPG's that never had their own voices! So, I am bringing together a cast of enthusiastic fans of the genre to create a compilation of fully voiced cutscenes from the Final Fantasy series. These will be videos uploaded to my YouTube in an episodic fashion (7 episodes). While there are numerous characters in Final Fantasy (and JRPG's), I am listing the main and supporting cast, along with extras for various other roles.
SYNOPSIS
A long-lived peace...is at an end. The emperor of Palamecia has called forth monsters from the underworld... and has begun his campaign for world conquest. A rebel army arose in the Kingdom of Fynn to thwart the emperor's plan. But the rebels' castle fell to an all-out assault by the empire. Left with little choice, the rebels withdrew to the remote town of Altair. Four youths from Fynn also found themselves fleeing the imperial forces. They had lost their parents at the hands of the empire. But their escape wasn't over...

The "deadline" is subject to change, we will release episodes every few weeks to every month.
I will most likely be casting some roles ahead of schedule, so we can have ample enough time to record, as there are many lines!
The adopted friend of Maria and Leon, and childhood friend of Guy, he seeks to destroy the Empire to avenge his fallen family. Firion tries to behave heroically and strives to protect his country and the people he holds dear under any circumstance.
Please note, though Firion is technically a lead, he has a smaller speaking role than the supporting cast. The VA can be double cast.

Let's go. This is going to be the real beginning!
Firion and Guy's childhood friend, and the lead heroine. She quests to find her brother Leon, who went missing during the four's escape from Fynn. She is a kind young lady who often acts as the mediator between Firion and others. Maria eventually has an emotional breakdown and can't keep her composure as her loved ones and friends keep suffering and dying.

A friend of Firion and Maria who was raised by wild animals before being taken in by Maria and Leon's parents. While his grasp of human language is limited, Guy has the ability to speak with wild animals.
Due to his very minimal lines, the VA can be double cast.

Leon is Maria's older brother, and (spoilers!) the new Dark Knight of Palamecia. He went missing during the attack on Fynn, and has since grown to be the emperor's most faithful follower. As the Dark Knight, he is power-hungry and authoritative, often rude and harsh to Firion and his party. He seems to have at some point cared for his sister deeply.

A White Mage and Princess Hilda's personal adviser. He joins the party during their early adventures, and is learned in the arts of White Magic. As a white mage, Minwu is naturally a person who takes care of the wounded. He usually talks in a strange way, as if fate guides his actions.
I'm looking for an exotic sounding voice, backed by a tone of mystery. Channel your inner fortune teller!

All those who live must someday die. It is our fate.
The princess of Fynn and the Commander of the Wild Rose Rebellion. She and Scott share a mutual affection for each other. While Hilda never joins the heroes' party, she provides them with crucial guidance and direction over the course of the story. Hilda is described as a strong-willed young woman with great leadership skills despite her youth. She cares deeply about the lives of her subjects.
Hilda likely has the most spoken lines in the game.

You know nothing of battle. You would only be throwing your lives away.
This represents our hope for a future that flourishes in both strength and beauty.
The prince of Kashuan. He fled from battle after his brother, Scott, died in the battle for Fynn. He believes himself to be a coward, and so joins Firion and his companions in their fight against the Empire in search of redemption and growth.
Voice Type: Mid-High
My name is Gordon. I was once a prince of Kashuan (Kah-Shoo-Awn)… Now I’m nothing but a coward.
I abandoned my kingdom and fled here.
I’m just a spineless coward. Go ahead. Laugh! I deserve it.
A miner living in Salamand. Once the heroes save his daughter Nelly from imperial captivity, he assists them in their search for the Goddess's Bell. Josef is a wealth of knowledge for Firion and his party, though he is initially skeptical of them.

A pirate who attempts to rob the party. Touched by the mercy the three show her in the wake of her attempted robbery and defeat, Leila decides to travel alongside them and ally herself with the rebellion. Leila is a wild-spirited and adventurous soul.
Really play up her pirate persona!

The last Dragoon of Deist, having been stuck inside Leviathan for some time. Ricard initially does not believe that the Dragoons are extinct, and he struggles to accept that he could be the last of his kind. Even so, he becomes determined to fight against the Empire in order to avenge his fallen comrades.

New arrivals, eh? So, who are you?
The Dragoons and the Wyverns have all been destroyed? That’s absurd!
Together, we might be able to take the Empire down.
An amiable thief from Fynn and a member of the Wild Rose Rebellion. Paul prefers working alone than with others. He makes a living by stealing from the Empire and boasts of being the best thief in the world! Though he steals frequently, he tells the party that he will not steal from them, as he does not steal from his friends.
Voice Type: Mid-High
I’m Paul! The greatest thief in all the world! They’ve yet to invent loot I can’t burgle.
The Imperial coffers have kept my purse fat with gil.
I never steal from the rebels, you can be sure of that!
A curt old man enamored with the open skies. He was previously a soldier, but now runs an airship transportation business, and will ferry the party almost anywhere in the world... for a fee, of course.

If you’ve got the cash, there’s no place I can’t take ya!
That oversized garbage scow? Airships aren’t about how big ya build ‘em!
Let the flames get too high, you got a runaway on your hands! The engine’ll blow sky high!
The main antagonist of Final Fantasy II. He rules the Palamecian Empire and aims to conquer the world through demonic forces. He is cunning, subtle, rude and arrogant. Owing to his arrogant nature, the Emperor never fights unless he has to, and has his minions do the work for him. His actions are tyrannical and he abhors humanity.
Voice Type: Low-Mid-High

A prince of Kashuan and the elder brother of Gordon. He and Princess Hilda share a mutual affection for each other. He is willing to defend the kingdom with his life. He succumbs to his wounds early on in the story.
Due to his small role, the actor can be double cast in roles.

Are you… going to turn me over to the Empire? At least have the decency to kill me first.

There are numerous NPC's in Final Fantasy II that need various voices with a large range. Show me your acting chops! Please record all three lines, even if you aren't confident with a certain type. I just want to hear your range.
If cast, you WILL receive named parts and probably several of them.
Some roles include, but are not limited to: King of Fynn (M), Tobul (M), Borghen (M), Elina (F), Gottos (M), Deumion (M), and Nelly (F).
Army Commander - It's going to be one hell of a ride! See you down there! *laughs maniacally"
