Project Overview
Webtoon Description:
Sunny’s dream is to graduate from the magic school, Proud Orion Academy, and become a witch. The only problem is, she can’t use magic. Everything takes a turn when a vampire and werewolf not only fight to become her familiar, but end up living with her too! Sunny thinks Mars and Leo could be the key to her finally unlocking her ability to use magic. That is, if the trio can survive school drama, dark secrets, and unexpected romantic feelings.
Hello there! This is a comic dub project centered around Familiar Feelings by Violet Chan Karim! This is a non-paying project has been approved by the author. It will not be monetized whatsoever.
Requirements:
- Please have a decent mic with little to no background noise. USB mics are fine.
- This is an ongoing webtoon! Please only audition if you're ready for an ongoing commitment. Dub episodes will (hopefully) initially be released once a month.
- Please meet deadlines!
- If something comes up and you are unable to turn in lines before the deadline that happens! But please communicate! Communication is key!
- Must have Discord!
- There will be a discord server for this project for the sake of communication and updates. Server participation is not mandatory other than line submission.
- Be nice to each other! This is all for fun! Hate speech of any kind as well as making others intentionally uncomfortable will NOT be tolerated.
Auditioning:
- Please audition in the ABC-ABC-ABC format, 1-3 takes preferred.
- Audition for as many characters as you'd like!
- Please include your discord.
- Nearly role has a listed preference for what range I see the character having, but don’t let that stop you from auditioning for a role you’d like to try out! Please feel free to audition for any role you’d like, regardless of range.
Note: All roles are equally important! The comic is ongoing and therefore roles that are marked as minor could end up being much more significant later on! On that note, character appearances vary, even amongst the main cast! One main character doesn't even show up for a few episodes. Cast will be given the option to double up on extras when they come along. Future roles will be available as well!

Mars is one of the leads of the comic. He is the top student at the academy, or so he was before expulsion. He is the Vampire of the main trio and turns into a bat from time to time. His rival is Leo, a werewolf, both are competing to be Sunny's familiar! He is a serious person who does not express too many emotions other than anger (as of now).
Low-mid range preferred.
(Annoyed) If you're going to talk about me... At least wait until I'm out of earshot. Idiots.
(Mocking Sunny) Aww. Poor me. I work sooo hard. I should be good at magic by now.
(Taken by surprise, sort of freaked out) What's wrong with you!?
Leo is the third member of the main trio, and a werewolf! He is athletic and has a kind personality compared to Mars, who is more serious. Leo also wants to be Sunny's familiar, making him Mars' rival!
I see his voice being enthusiastic and playful, and around the mid-range. (All ranges accepted)
(About the school's reputation) The senior girls are definitely the best of the best!...And their uniforms are pretty cute too.
(Princely... this is Sunny's exaggerated imagination) Your beauty is immeasurable! I have fallen in love with you at first sight, please date me!
(Playful) Aww, you sound jealous!
Miss Tera is the teacher of the senior girls' class. She cares for her students a lot and gives Sunny extra lessons in hopes that it will help her access her magic. She is kindhearted and soft-spoken.

(Instructing) While this seems elementary, the leaf is actually a formidable opponent because of how lightweight and difficult to control it is.

Lillin is the "mean one" amongst the senior girls. She often makes unkind remarks about Sunny's lack of magic. High-mid range preferred.
(Unamused) Looks like Sunny is gonna start.
(Teasing) Ha! I knew she wouldn't be able to do it! I don't get why she doesn't just give up already. Sunny is never going to become a real witch.
Dawn is one of the senior girls. She usually is around Lillin and is more monotone with not so much emotion in her words, like she's always bored or bothered.

(Sighing) That's a bit harsh, Lillin.
(Shrugging) ...I guess I just feel bad for her.
(Defeated) I have to inherit my granny's freaky crow...
Skye is one of the senior girls. She seems like the more peppy one of the bunch so far.

(About Sunny's training methods) I wouldn't call it "amazing." It's more like "reckless."
Ugh! Levitating one leaf is easy enough, but I can't get the second one to stay up! Guess I'm more rusty than I thought...
Briar is the kind one of the group and is good with her magic, it comes to her with ease it seems. She prefers to play video games over studying.

(Laughing playfully) I'm doing okay! I could levitate more but there are no more leaves around me...
(Concerned) Hey, have you looked at Sunny? Her uniform is dirty... and she has bandages and bruises all over her...
Camille usually appears unamused, but she gets after the other girls when she hears them talking poorly about Sunny behind her back.

(Unamused, sighing) Are you surprised? She's always like this, especially after break. She probably practiced magic all summer long.
(Surprised) I thought you said you didn't practice all summer! How are you so good!?
(Calling out) Yo, Sunny! We're getting dinner, wanna come?
Lyra is the headmaster of the school. She is well aware that Sunny cannot use magic and keeps an eye on her. She is serious about her job and the school and comes off somewhat cold.

Hello students. I'll be dropping in on your class throughout the semester to see...The prowess of my school's future graduate witches.
As I expected... Sunny still can't use magic.
Avery is one of Leo's friends. He is a senior and wonders if this will be his lucky year with romance. No range preference.
(Calling out while playing soccer) I'm open!
(Shyly) I wonder if this is the year I'll finally get a girlfriend...
And don't think I didn't see you use magic in that kick, Leo.
James is one of Leo's friends. He hasn't appeared much so far but will most likely appear more in future chapters! Mid-low range preferred.
Wait... Look over there!
(Sighing) Nope... They aren't even looking in our direction.
Finn is another one of Leo's friends who he plays soccer with during school. He seems to be like Leo personality wise.
Mid-range preferred.
(In awe) They're pretty cute...
(Playfully) Cheater! Using magic to impress girls, huh? That's a penalty!
