How odd can you get until you actually break reality?
Existential Chris is a series about a simple guy that finds a mysterious book that changes the functioning of the world itself.Meet Chris,your average Joe just living life and wishing that something interesting would happen every once in a while. All of this changes when he puts his hands on a magical artifact that might give him what he always dreamed of: The Book of Oddity. Without his Grandpa's consent,of course,he goes into some wacky adventures and meets lots of people that he was sure never existed in the first place. What consequences could his actions have in the long term?
This series will be part of a challenge in wich each episode must be completed and uploaded in the span of a week.It's going to be simple and short,and I intend on sending all the lines at once and receiving the recordings until summer.The scripts are very casual and up for interpretation!Each episode will have around 3-4 minutes and some characters might not have lines in all of them.I don't plan on making more than 17 episodes. Chris is an 18 year old that just wants some cool things to happen,even though he's not into the idea of putting any effort into changing his lifestyle.He lives with his Grandpa and does what any normal couch potato would do at that age: browse the internet all day or play games while ditching homework.Chris is kind of lacking in the social department and can get really dramatical sometimes.He still has lots to learn. Looking for someone that can portray his nervous breakdowns as well as his "enough of this crap" moments,His ideal voice range would be from medium to high pitch,but i'll take anything as long as it fits the profile! If you feel like improvising a bit,go ahead!
(upset) "I just wish my life was a bit more interesting..."

Carrot(formally named "klajslkdjalksj") is a little alien girl that leads a squad that supervises wavelenghts emited from our planet,earth,in order to make sure nothing unusual is going on down here.As a result of Chris and his shenanigans she is sent to earth to investigate the weird aura of the mysterious book.Carrot is a social deviant and a very curious cientist that is fascinated by all the crazy stuff humans do.She's the kind of person(or alien) that likes to take action and usually doesn't think twice before doing so.It's all in the sake of science!Looking for someone that can portray the impulsiveness and smug energy of this tiny gremlin.Her ideal voice would be of high range,but if you fit the character,that shouldn't matter at all.If you feel like improvising a bit,go ahead!
(stern)"FREEZE! You’re under space arrest!"
(Go crazy with the noises here) "You mean my code? It’s 'klajslkdjalksj'.It’s martian for 'askljalksjlkasjd'."
(mischievous) "Hee hee...finally we’re alone..."
You know these old people who just don't care about what other people think? Mr. Joe here goes beyond that.He owns a shady book store and is probably dealing with some kind of occult magic but what do I know? You just don't want to get on his wrong side.Besides all his screaming he really loves Chris and wants the best for his grandson. Looking for someone that can give this crazy old man all the spontaneous and loud lines that he deserves.Any voice range would be nice for him,as long as you can make him sound old enough! A very grumpy and silly voice will do. If you feel like improvising a bit,go ahead!
(excited) "You betcha!! YEEHAW!"

How many robots have been called that? A bunch of them,I'm sure.Poor 01 isn't a very creative guy when it comes to coming up with robot names,but he tries his best.This man is a cybernetic AI created by someone in the school's science lab,apperently without anyone noticing his presence until Chris and Carrot decide to wake him up.He's a quiet guy that is always confused,but always keeps his calm.Well,not always-most of the time.However,his lack of understanding of life in general can make him look weird in many occasions.Looking for someone that can portray his calm demeanor and somewhat deapan vibe while still being able to shift into a raging state whenever it's needed.His ideal voice range would be low or medium,but if you fit the profile you're good to go! If you feel like improvising a bit,go ahead!
(initially emotionless,then incredibly desperate )"....loading school map....LET’S GO! NOW!"
(calmly) "You suck at videogames"
(confused) "Is this kid flying or something?he’s too fast!"
Little Lily May is an 11 year old that has a deep connection to all things supernatural.She runs a school club that helps(or at least tries to help) desperate students with the help of her magical knowledge.She's usually seen as a melancholic and quiet individual and some of her tricks don't always work but she's not one to give up.She's never impressed and can come off as cold to some people,but she's actually a sweet little girl.Looking for someone that can sound really soft,almost as if talking through whispers.She has a melancholic tone to her words,but will get serious when it's necessary.It would be ideal for her to have a high pitched voice,but if you fit the profile,you're good to go!If you feel like improvising a bit,go ahead!
(calmly) "What brings you here,desperate one?"
(slightly curious)"Are you guys talking about ghosts?"
(a little stern) "What bussiness do you have in this mortal realm,GHOST?"
Ash is a ghost that used to haunt a school camp and take over people's bodies just to kill some time.She's a tuff girl that really just wants to go crazy and have fun.Kind of a jerk,but she means no harm.She misses her old life and ends up sticking with the gang after a very nice proposal.She can sound scary sometimes and has an aggressive personality-she'll often threaten and scare her friends for an easy laugh.Looking for someone that can give off that careless vibe and portray her wreckless attitude towards others.A medium or low pitched,kind of raspy voice would be ideal for her,but if you fit the profile,you're good to go!If you feel like improvising a bit,go ahead!
(teasingly) "Awww,what happened? are you scared? Is the big baby scared?You gonna piss your pants?"
(annoyed) "EWWW! Okay,I’ll leave,jeez!!You don’t gotta soak me in water."

Ned is an absolute Nerd.The angry kind of nerd-the type that would go on a long ass rant about how batman is superior to whatever superhero movie is out at the moment or would scream about people calling anime japanese cartoons.He's easy to anger and WILL call you stupid if you don't know anything about nasa or spaceships.He loves science and is actually very proficient in the field but his childish personality can get in the way of obtaining any kind of respect from his abilities.Looking for someone that can capture that classic "nerd essence" and condescending attitude,extra points for voice cracks.He's just an entitled 15 year old.He'll get over it.A medium pitched voice would be the best option for this character,but if you fit the profile,you're good to go!If you feel like improvising a bit,go ahead!

Clover is a werewolf girl that lives isolated from people.She likes her space,but would love to have more friends and not to be alone all the time.She has a grumpy attitude to most people and is not scared of standing up for herself.She is very self consious about her appearence and behaviors and tries her best to not look vulnerable.Looking for someone that can portray her evasive and grumpy personality,but still convey some emotion in some scenes.A medium or low pitched,boyish kind of voice would fit her best,but if you fit the profile,you're good to go!If you feel like improvising a bit,go ahead!
