EVANGELION abridged -ep 1 VA's NEEDED
Project Overview
Hello everyone! i am back once again with another project, this time i will be making a abridged video for Neon Genesis Evangelion! this video will be a more ambitious as I'm aiming to make this video 2x longer then my other videos, with that being said since this is a parody it isn't going to be super serious. I'm not saying that there won't be any serious moment but it'll be more lose and fun then the original show at least. here's a disclaimer though, this project will have cursing and some inappropriate humor, so if your not comfortable with that then I suggest not auditioning. Gendo, the commander of Nerv, is a brilliant scientist and politician who works diligently for his organization; however, he is an extremely cold and distant father towards his son. this is a far more humorous take on Gendo so he's not going to be as serious as he is in cannon, he's still going to be a bad father, but played off for a more comedic effect

Rei is a main character in Evangelion and she is the First Child and the pilot of EVA-00 At the start of the series, Rei is socially withdrawn, seemingly emotionless, and rarely interacts with anyone, except for Gendo, to whom she initially displays loyalty but with whom she has a generally distant relationship. In the first episode however she does not say any lines, however she still appears in the episode and does to some vocal work but in the form of grunts and sounds of pain as she is injured, rest assured though that in the future she will have way more lines as she is a prominent character. that being said i'll just leave some lines from the actual show for the audition lines

Misato is one of the main characters from Evangelion, She is the operations director at Nerv. at a surface level her personality will be the same as it is in the show mostly, of course considering this is the first episode we aren't really gonna be seeing the deeper aspects of her character yet

Sachiel is the fourth angel and the primary antagonist for the first EP of Evangelion he does not have a personality in cannon as he does not speak but i thought it would be funny for the video if the angles can talk, so in the abridged Sachiel will a idiot who can barely speak and talks slowly, he won't speak a lot but will have a couple of lines i'm still debating on this last part but i might add a voice changer or mess with the audio to make him sound more like some kind of monster, it's not necessary but it would be cool if you had a voice changer in your audition

He is second-in-command of NERV HQ and Gendo Ikari's right hand man. As Deputy Commander of NERV, Fuyutsuki frequently takes command of situations at the base in this episode he mostly only talks to Gendo and checks him for being a bad father, not many lines

at the very start of the video there is a announcer who warns the people of the angel attack as he is an extra he does not have many lines, however like I do on every project if you do play an extra you will have a more likely chance of being pick for a more major role if you do so chose to audition for another role. I am also open to improv and I'll try to include it into the final product
