Gendo, the commander of Nerv, is a brilliant scientist and politician who works diligently for his organization; however, he is an extremely cold and distant father towards his son. this is a far more humorous take on Gendo so he's not going to be as serious as he is in cannon, he's still going to be a bad father, but played off for a more comedic effect
