We’re doing a third round of recruiting Voice Actors for our project, this time once again for content-exclusives.
What is Essence of Humanity about?
In the distant future, androids have become an ordinary part of human society — owned, exploited, and discarded as products rather than living beings. As tensions between humans and replicas continue to escalate, the lives of several strangers become intertwined, setting them on a path that will forever change both species. From the flaring streets of Motown to the city's cold underground, ordinary people, runaway androids, and those caught between both sides are drawn into a growing conflict fueled by violence, fear, and vengeance. The question is, who will remain the most humane creature in the end? Artificial copies, or the original beings who created that mess? Perhaps being a copy of someone means inheriting their flaws.
The series explores drastically different characters, perspectives, and moral philosophies without declaring any of them right or wrong. Instead, it presents each side and leaves the choice to you — who deserves your support, and who does not. Assuming, of course, that the future offers even a single worthy choice.
Blending detective, drama, tragedy, thriller, and action, the story unfolds within a richly realized sci-fi setting.

What we are looking for
We need multiple voice actors who want to contribute something small to make it bigger. We’ve already put it in production and will continue to create side content dedicated to the mysterious police communication logs of Motown — the city where all major events of EoH take place.
What are the logs?
The logs serve as an immersive gateway into the project’s universe, designed to keep the audience engaged and maintain momentum while pilot production is underway.
Requirements
- You must be 17+.
- The voices we are searching for are any adult ones; Masculine, feminine, androgynous - doesn't matter as long as you sound mature.
- Accent doesn’t matter.
- Ability to convey both basic and complex emotions through your performance.
To Note
- Logs can contain moderate/or heavy swearing, violent descriptions, and mentions of different uncomfortable topics, so you should notify upfront if you want a role that avoids it, or has it tuned down to the minimum.
- We strongly encourage you to include your age and all of the other helpful info with your audition submission. This information helps us match you with the most suitable character.
- Several logs’ scripts are already complete, while others are in development or planned for the future. If you submit an audition here, we may reach out to you later as new logs are created. Not being selected immediately does not mean you are no longer being considered — we review submissions based on ongoing production needs. If accepted, please note that there may be a waiting period before you receive your script.
- That said, we may also consider your voice for the future pilot, or the series itself!
Project is Unpaid
While we are unable to offer payment at this time, we can provide full credit for your work, experience, and a great addition to your portfolio!
Deadline
This casting call will remain open for a strict three-month period, during which all submissions will be collected and reviewed. The deadline for submissions is October 20th at 11:00 PM UTC-8.
