YOUR TURN TO DUB (YTTD FANDUB)
Project Overview
WHAT IS THIS- Your Turn to Dub is a fandub based off the game “Your Turn to Die.” This project will be based off the Kanna/Reko route, yet in the future I hope we are able to cover alternative paths in the game. The project will be edited to hopefully show all parts of the game including mini games and side conversations!
If you are unfamiliar: YTTD follows the story of contestants being kidnapped and forced into a death game. They have many tests and puzzles they have to solve and trials they have to go through with to progress and escape. No priar knowledge of YTTD is needed to participate but would he appreciated!
This project is 14+! All genders are welcome to audition for any character! Professional equipment is not required, but please be able to provide decent quality audio. These characters are also very expressive, so don’t be afraid to show that!
Please also be dedicated to this project! This is a long term project that has the potential to last a year or two. I understand that things happen and deadlines can’t always be met but please try your best or communicate with me!
While this isn’t my first time being involved in this sort of project, it is my first time running one. I know the jist of how things work but please be patient!
ALL COMMUNICATION WILL BE DONE THROUGH DISCORD. PLEASE PROVIDE IT IN YOUR AUDITION.

Sara Chidouin - The protagonist of YTTD! She is a female 17 year old. She has a levelheaded response to most things and is described to have a “mind of steel”. Please be prepared to show a wide range of emotions with this roll.

{Giving a pep talk} Lift your heads up!! We've always done when we've had to do...! No matter how cruel it is, you can't stop!!
{Realization} It felt like I'd been having a bad dream... I tortured myself with hallucinations of my own making. But I've woken up now. I... no, we... won't lose to the likes of you!
My classmate, a cheerful and good-hearted friend. He recently started dating my best friend Ryoko. After finding out about my stalker, he's been kind to me, in his own way. He's the only one I know in this place. Joe trusted me in both the First Trial and Russian Roulette. Maybe the reason I'm calm is because I have this guy around.
Joe Tazuna - One of the main characters throughout the first part of the game, he is Sara’s best friend! He’s the same age as Sara and also attends the same school. He tries to stay positive during the game and lightens the moods with jokes. He is a main character and has a fair amount of lines throughout the first part of the game.

"Huh... Never thought about that before."
{His last words towards Sara} Last... There's something I wanna say. Sure enough... It's hard for a guy and a girl to say this sorta stuff to each other, huh...? I love ya, Sara! You're my best friend!!
The "friendly policeman," as he tells it... So it seems he's a cop. His laid-back behavior feels somehow shady. If feels like he's trying to guide others to put their trust in me. But... Before Russian Roulette, he confessed to shooting a person. Apparently, he hasn't been able to fire a gun ever since.
Keiji Shinogi - “Your friendly policeman.” Keiji Shinogi is a male adult who had a past occupation as a policeman. He usually keeps a calm and sarcastic demeanor. He’s a main character and has many lines throughout the game.

A self-described job-hopper. A timid man who speaks with a smile. He's slender and might be pretty weak, considering he couldn't even open a sliding door. On the other hand, he made a sudden change when I picked up the gun... It was a little scary.
Shin Tsukimi aka “Sou Hiyori” - A self-described job-hopper. He’s a timid young-adult who speaks through a smile yet his demeanor changes into a more mad and insane one throughout the game. He’s a main character with many lines throughout the game.

A middle school girl. Lost her older sister in the First Trial. Filled with self-loathing after losing her sister, Sara and Mishima told her a kind lie. But Miley’s “sister-killer” remark meant it only wounded her more. In the Main Game, Kanna notably made statements implying she was working with Sou. What might have transpired between the two of them… is unknown.
Kanna Kizuchi - A scared middle school girl who some how wound up in this death game. She was with her sister, but she seems not to be here anymore. She has a self-loathing personality and seems to be scared/frazzled often.

Q-Taro has quite the personality, and seems to take things to quite the extreme many times.

A singer-songwriter who's famous enough to appear in magazines lately. A band member with a flashy look, worried for her dear bongos. Apparently this is "plain" makeup. Has a lot of harsh words for men. Meanwhile, she's super nice to me, Nao, and Kanna. She even shows Sou some concern, so maybe she's kind to the weak, and harsh on the strong...
Reko Yabusame - A younger adult singer-songwriter who is kind to the weak and harsh to the strong. She has quite an angry and drastic personality yet you can find her letting loose when you catch her off guard as the game progresses. She has quite extreme emotions so don’t be afraid to give it your all!

Nao Egokoro - A shy and reserved college art student who ends up finding her strength throughout the game. She acts on impulse and doesn’t always make the best decisions, but she means the best deep down.

Kai Satou - An older homemaker with a calm demeanor. He seems to mean the best for everyone, but also has a side that no one seems to know about. He has quite a reserved personality, yet has his breakthroughs.

A somewhat cheeky grade-school boy who ends his sentences with "woof" and "meow." He seems to have gotten attached to me, called me "big sis Sara." His positivity in this uneasy situation is very unlike a grade-schooler. But I don't know how Gin's mental state might change from seeing a tragedy happen before him. ...Even I've never seen such a horrible thing before.
Gin Ibushi - A silly grade school boy who shows positivity throughout the duration of the game. He ends his sentences in “meow” and “woof” imitating some sort of animal.

Kazumi Mishima - An older art professor. He can come off as creepy, but always means the best for everyone. He has a crazy “mad scientist” feel to him, yet also has a more “chill” demeanor. Supporting character with a fair amount of lines throughout the first part of the game.

Heehee. My name is Sue Miley, the Laughing Doll. I am the doll who will guide you on this floor. Ehee. My master has instructed me to guide you brave souls, who have overcome several trials, to the Main Game.
Sue Miley- “The Laughing Doll.” She is the antagonist of the first part of the game and is the first and second floor’s floormaster. Like other dolls, she has a sadistic personality and laughs at the contestants failures.

Rio Ranger - “The dress-up doll!” He is the main floormaster of the 3rd floor. He has an almost child-like personality but still finds joy in the contestants suffering. Towards the end of the chapter, he does end up showing weakness.

Sou Hiyori aka “Midori” - The main antagonist throughout the last half of the game. He’s the fourth and fifth floor’s floormaster. He has a sadistic personality and seems to find joy in everyone’s suffering. He is a main/supporting character throughout the last half of the game with many emotional lines.

Shunsuke Hayasaka - A young male adult who died during the first trial. He has a shy and timid personality yet still tries his best to do what’s right.
Just think about it... I'm not the real Hayasaka. I'm a doll made to look exactly like him. Obviously the organization wouldn't leave me any memories that'd be a problem for them, right?
{Reflecting} “If we really do get home at some point... I hope to live reflecting on what I did. I hope the day comes you can forgive me, too...”
