Project Overview

What is Ennoia Project?

This is a passion project for our original characters we’ve created that we’re turning into a series of visual novels as it’s our main focal project. Each game has their own different story and set cast of characters each within the same fantasy universe. 

We also make audio dramas, skits, and side stories as side projects that are supplements to the games (mainly what we make for fun, as well as to promote unreleased characters here and there before they appear in their own games). 

While the games may talk about sensitive topics, we plan to treat them with care into their portrayal.

We have an estimated timeline for each game we’re planning for the future.

Currently there is 39 characters planned for the universe. Only 6 of them have VAs to them.

We welcome current VAs to audition again for future characters down the line.

This is a long term project with work every couple months.

Casting will be determined by myself, my co director, and my casting director.

What is wave 2 about?

  • More characters for the 'Metamorphosis' Story of Ennoia Project (+1 Special case). We currently have a demo that is set to release soon and plan to have work for these characters around the time the casting call ends.

  • We plan to introduce these characters via Audio drama we post on Twitter(X)/Youtube.

Story Synopsis for 'Ennoia: Metamorphosis'

  • "Metamorphosis" is a kinetic visual novel following the story of protagonist Azul, a student enrolled into the prestigious magic academy of the snowy lands of Solstice who is tasked with uncovering the mystery of disappearing female students as of late. In the story, Azul uses his alchemic prowess to change his physical gender to play as a "victim" as a lure to get closer to the truth.

  • It includes themes of LGBT, and gender discrimination.

  • While our protagonist uses the power of Alchemy to change physical gender, we do not intend to use it in as 'comedy' as typically seen in 'gender-bending' genre of media.


Rules:

  • 18+ To audition. While it is NOT an NSFW project; We do not feel comfortable with minors due to the nature of some sensitive topics.

  • LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY. We do NOT want to be associated with bigots.

  • Prefer Discord as a method of contact, we like to communicate with our cast. We have a dedicated Server for the project and outlines the overall scope for the entire series as a whole.

  • We want files to be either in MP3 or WAV format, with minimal editing as possible. We will do the editing work ourselves.

  • Please note if you are able to sing, we like to showcase characters and their VA's talents so definitely want to implement that if possible. We will provide the production on this ourselves.

  • NO AI, AI SUCKS! We don't want any of that assiociated with our project.

  • Update #4: Auditions closed!

    Our casting call has now officially closed! Thank you so much to everyone that spread the word around and sent in auditions! Compared to our last casting call, this has blown up more than we've ever imagine, and we're truly grateful for everyone that's taken an interest in our beloved characters!

    We've even managed to hit over of 500+ submissions in total!

    Due to the overwhelming amount of auditions to go through, please give us a week to go through everything. Once we've decided each role, we'll contact you through discord/your preferred means of contact if you put it down.

    Thank you again to everyone that auditioned! We'll have more casting calls in the future, so be on the look out!

  • Update #3: Less than a week left!

    Just a quick update as a reminder that there's now 5 days left until submissions close for this casting call!

    Once it's closed, please give us a couple days to review auditions (that we haven't already dismissed). If chosen, you'll get contacted straight away, so make sure to be on the lookout!

  • Update #2: Extended Deadline

    Hey there! We're back with another update!

    As always, we're incredibly grateful and appreciative of the amount of support and auditions we've got on our 2nd casting call so far as we've already reached 250 auditions! Thank you so much for all of your interest in this project, truly. It still amazes us how many people really have taken interest in what we're creating, especially with our characters— It genuinely means the world to us.

    With that being said, we've decided to extend the deadline for another 2 weeks! 

    The new deadline is now April 18 instead of April 4. So there's now about another month left!

    We initially considered extending it for Weiss only, but decided to extend auditions for every role to give our writer more time to work on the scripts for each character and to begin getting more people on board on our team to help out.

    Hopefully this gives more people enough time to get their auditions in if you were eyeing it before! We also hope it gives people more time to refine whatever they have in the process as well.

  • Update #1: Added role

    Thank you so much to everyone who's submitted an audition and taken an interest in the project so far!

    This is just a quick update to share we've added a new role that can be auditioned for! We've already had a lot of great auditions so far, so we're very excited to see what'll be in store for our new character, Weiss!

    Besides that, the deadline and everything else remains the same, so there's still about over a month left to get your auditions in. As always, thank you again for your interest and showing us your amazing talents, and we look forward to seeing more within the coming month!

Royalty for the kingdom of Solstice. She is very timid and often keeps to herself, she aspires to be independent in her own role.

Eira has themes of grief in her backstory.

She is hovered by a strict guardian-like figure in her sections of the story. 


Looking for someone to be able to convey her quiet subdued nature but understand she is someone that lacks esteem and craves recognition.

Voice should be able to convey someone who is very polite and soft spoken but portray bits of hesitance since she has to hold herself back emotionally.

Pandora is described as feisty and speaks her mind in place of others. 

She has high confidence in herself, is aware of her book smarts and intelligence but lacks self awareness on how brash she comes off. 

Her role in the story is a side character that works alongside the protagonist (Azul). She is the type to take the lead and provide clues, the dynamic is strictly friends.

Looking for someone who is able to convey a voice that best describes narcissistic, and slightly patronizing but not too over-bearing that it can be interpreted as malicious.

Solaris is the owner of the in-universe equivalent of any theme park, called 'Fortuna'.

His goal is to bring smiles to those he specifically invites. A jester's job is to turn other's misfortunes into jokes. He has an "undetermined" age and knows more about the universe than he lets on.
He likes to talk with metaphors. He doesn't comprehend negative emotions as most 'beings' in the world naturally do. 


Looking for a voice that conveys jovial, and playful. 

The 3rd line is a bit of a tricky one, it should be read as nonchalant initially before going full jovial again. Indicated by **

Weiss is an associate of Solaris who, somewhat reluctantly, lends his aid at the ever-so-joyous park of Fortuna. Those who've spotted Weiss describe him as a beautiful and "princely", who has a gorgeous pattern of speech from the way he talks in riddles when approached. His role within the park is that of a "bard" who graces his lovely voice by the streets where most people can roam and gather. But, unlike Solaris, Weiss is able to speak normally and is able to attune himself to everyday human speech; treating his words more carefully compared to the latter.

He is more in tune to humanity's feelings.


Looking for a voice that is able to convey class, but can be surprisingly playful or even smug during lighter moments. 

**The third line is a direct continuation of Solaris's third line as a reference, and is structured similarly to where it's said seriously before easing into a more lighthearted tone.
