Thank you all for your immense help! It wouldn't have been possible without y'all! Thank you!
Hey all, it's Cu na Saoirse! Back at it again with another fun project! Please make sure to read THIS ENTIRE description before audition please. That includes Audition Requirements and Voice Requirements!
The project this time is for a fun little series that I plan on continuing. This mod title is Encounters of The Mojave - NCRCF/Hidden Valley. It aims to add scripted encounters around the NCRCF and Hidden Valley to make the world feel more alive. This will be an ongoing project, with several mods planned in the future to cover other areas of the map in the hopes of having the entire map covered in the future.
VOICE REQUIREMENTS
- Multiple takes are encouraged (2-3) for each audition line but NOT required!
- You must follow the voicing instructions crystal clearly. Any audition with mess-ups on specific instructions w/o any attempts to fix WILL BE disqualified.
- Must not be afraid to get vulgar or loud!
- Sometimes you will be cussing too. If you are uncomfortable with that, then I can say that, unfortunately, this project is not for you. :(
Audition Requirements:
-Crisp, clean audio. No hums*, pops, hisses, or background noise. Any audition with these found inside WILL BE disqualified!
*Hums, if distant enough to be hardly noticeable, can pass auditioning ONLY if the voice actor can remove them when asked.
-Show emotion! Any audition without emotion or effort WILL BE disqualified!
- Communication can be conducted through Discord or CCC.
- The role will have between 1 and 8 lines each.
-Have fun!
If you are disqualified, feel free to re-audition! There is no negativity here, only positivity and room for improvement!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I can answer most.

Hey all, it's been a while. Sorry for my lack of updates, I've been hard at work at my real life job and maintaining my social life. But I'm back now, and it's my pleasure to announce we're almost done! We have just two more roles left for voicing, and we're waiting on the VAs to turn in their work! Stay tuned for the release update!
Hurray! All roles in this installment have been cast! I look forward to seeing it to it's completion! Thank you all for your help and your interest, and I will keep you all updated on the status of the project as it continues!
For those cast, I will be checking in shortly on your progress.
Powder Gangers are escaped convicts from the NCRCF. After rioting and taking over the prison as their base of operations, the Powder Gangers run rampant across the Wasteland around Goodsprings, looting, murdering, and other horrible things.
This Powder Ganger has been stalking a Brotherhood Scouting Team, and right when they let their guard down, he blows them to pieces with dynamite before rushing to loot them. He attacks the Player when he spots them.
Not now!
Yes, got those bastards! Finally. Been stalking them for hours. Thought they'd never let their guard down.
Now, let's see what kinda gear these assholes are packing... I- Hey, what?! You won't live to speak of this, motherfucker!

This Powder Ganger is dealing chems to another, but the deal goes awry rather quickly and ends in the death of the other Powder Ganger.
Back off, punk.
Yeah. You got the money? Let me see the caps.
Fine. Here. Take it, scumbag.

Go away, smoothskin. This doesn't concern you.
'Sup, Randall. You got the chems?
Nah, nah, nah. You don't get the money until I see the chems.

This Powder Ganger is a cook for the gang, and is in the middle of making dinner when a Powder Ganger comes in and expresses his discontent before deserting - much to the amusement of the cook.
What, you want something to eat? Well, I don't give a shit. Eat what you find.
Yeah, I mixed it. Don't like it?
Well, too bad. Caravan's are getting sparse, which means food's getting sparse. You eat what I goddamn cook.

This Powder Ganger is discontent with the way things are going with the gang and deserts shortly after finding out he is going to be eating Radroach chili for dinner.
Fuck off.
Heyo, what's for dinner?
Wha-Goddamn! You combined those bugs in our food?!

This Powder Ganger is working on the water purifier in the courtyard when another comes up and starts telling him what to do. This infuriates the mechanic, who tells him off.
I'm a tad busy. Get lost.
I know what I'm doing.
I said, I know what I'm doing.

Smoothskin.
Try connecting that doohickey to that thingamabob right there. I think that's what's making that weird noise.
What about trying to hook up that pipe to that valve? That might reroute the water, at least.

This Powder Ganger is accosting their captive NCR Ranger. If the Player does not intervene, the Jailor will execute the Ranger.
Got a light? No? Then fuck off.
Hey, hey, hey. How's our little jailbird doing?
Aw, come on. Is that any way to talk to your captors? You might piss off the wrong person with that attitude...

This Powder Ganger is scavenging weapons at an old pre-war military installation, but when the search becomes fruitless, they quickly give up and return to the NCRCF.
Not now.
So, why are we here?
Oh, OK. Well, then why haven't we found anything yet?

Go away.
Rumor has it that this used to be some military facility. We're looking for weapons.
Uhh... Good question... But that doesn't matter. Eddie wants us to find some good ol' prewar gear. So that's what we're gonna do.
The Brotherhood of Steel is a quasi-religious military organization dedicated to locating and preserving technology from those who would abuse it. They are known for accosting travelers for technology and have been at war with the New California Republic for quite some time. During New Vegas, they are a shadow of what they once were due to the war.
This Brotherhood Scout is scouting out the NCRCF before being ambushed by a Powder Ganger and getting blown to bits.
Back off, local.
Radio it in. The NCRCF is officially lost to the NCR.
Give the Elder a sitrep. The NCR is back in control of the NCRCF.

You need to walk away, now. We are authorized to use lethal force on locals such as you...
Roger. How could this have happened? This is unfortunate for us, as this will hinder our activities.
You fear for the locals? Don't tell me you've gotten soft, Mitchell.

We have no quarrel with you, mutant. We are simply seeking safe passage through your land. Allow us to pass, so we may not come to blows.
Call yourself what you may, that does not change our stance. Again, let us pass. We do not wish to harm you.
Is... is that all you know how to say...?

This Initiate is talking to another about their discontent with the bunker's lockdown.
Oh, hey Gottlieb... Is it that noticable? I guess... I guess it's just the lockdown. It's beginning to take it's toll.
I do. I do. But that doesn't mean I don't think it's cumbersome. We spend our days in VR and live fire simulations.
We eat synthetic rations and whatever our topside teams manage to scrounge up. We do nothing but train, and train, and train.

Heya, Reynolds... Why so glum?
Oh, that's all? Well, you do understand why it has to be that way, correct?
I wouldn't think too much about it, Reynolds. The lockdown will lift one day, and we'll be able to return to the surface. Until then? Let's train.

This Paladin is speaking to another about how sick they are of VR Training, and his wishes to go topside.
Ugh, I'm getting sick of these VR sims. I can't wait for a topside assignment.
What makes you say that?
Don't say that. You're killing my hopes here. The topside crew is so lucky. I hear they get double rations.

Hah! Good luck with that!
Well, topsiders are the best of the best, handpicked by Ramos himself for the missions up there. Good shots, good scouts, and masters at stealth.
You haven't got a hope in Hell.
The NCR Rangers are the best of the best in the NCR Military. Essentially special forces, they are an all volunteer group that goes out on dangerous, high-risk missions to accomplish the goals of the NCR. From scouts and nighttime raids to assassinations and sometimes even combat missions.
This NCR Ranger has been taken captive by the Powder Gangers. Beaten, abused, and possibly even worse, she remains stalwart, despite accepting she won't make it out alive. By the time the Player arrives, they have the choice of letting the scene play out - which will result in the Ranger's execution - or saving the Ranger for a boost to their karma and NCR reputation.
What do you want, asswipe?
Hah! Don't make me laugh, you goddamn terrorist! I'll never give in to the likes of you! Do your worst!
I've already resigned myself to death. I know I'm not getting out of here alive. So either kill me, or leave me alone.
NCR Troopers are the backbone of the NCR Military. Full of volunteers and conscripted soldiers, the Troopers are the first in, last out, boots on the ground, in the knitty and gritty force that the Mojave needs to stabilize it.
This NCR Trooper is leading a scouting mission to the NCRCF. If the Player doesn't intervene, he will get spotted and subsequently shot by a Powder Ganger sniper, dying shortly after.
Contact in the tower. Less than a hundred. You see him?
The courtyard is crawling with Powder Gangers. Good God... Did any of our boys make it out...?
Alright, I think we've gathered enough intel. Let's head back to the Mojave Outpost. Report this shit in.

I don't know... It's horrible.... Those goddamn convicts are gonna get theirs... Hey, I said keep your head down!
Oh my God! Run for it, Neil!

(MONSTER ROLE - YOU WILL BE PLAYING AS AN CRAZY SUPER MUTANT)
Nightkin are Super Mutants who served as Special Forces in the Master's Army. Now displaced since the destruction of said army, many find refuge in the human settlements and factions, and some even go out into the Wasteland to build a home for themselves. Many are quite insane, however, and are often shunned more than their regular Super Mutant brothers.
This Nightkin is accosting a Brotherhood Scouting Team. Upon conversing with them briefly, where his only words are "I am Grognak!", he attacks with a group of reinforcements.
I am Grognak!
We. Are. Grognak!

This NCR Ranger was on patrol with another when her comrade decided to stop in at the local watering hole for a drink. Unfortunately, he couldn't hold his liquor.
Hey, I think you had one too many...
You had a full vodka, you dolt. We're supposed to be on patrol.
Ugh... I knew I shouldn't have let you drag me here... I mean, this is against regulation, y'know?

Cazadores are vicious, highly lethal mutated insects that plague the Mojave Wasteland. Fast on their feet as they are with their wings, and equipped with a stinger with a vicious poison, Cazadores are not a beast to be trifled with.
This a Hunter attempting to hunt Cazadores. It doesn't go so well.
Do you really think this is a good idea, Carver?
But these are fucking Cazadores! How do you expect the three of us to take down a group of them?!
W-wait! Hey! W-wait up!

This NCR Trooper and her squad have come across the Yangtze Memorial, and are discussing the past behind it.
It's a war memorial, Corporal.
Yeah, you can compare the two. Except it's about The Great War. More specifically, the American invasion of China.
Never payed attention in History class, did you? The Chinese invaded Alaska to prevent said American invasion. The Americans didn't like that.
